Did I stay up too late?
Yes.
But did I finally finish BG3?
Yes, and it was so so good lol
All the endings fit with what I imagined would have happened with Rowan, and also like, literally I’ve thought of what Rowan would want to do afterward, and that was literally one of the options you could tell Astarion is your plans.
I’m actually happy that I put my bard aside and finished the game as my first dark urge character. It just added so much more, and even in the end, the extra line with Astarion after the dark urge questline is over and you choice to do good was so cute. Idk what I was expecting, but his little laugh just had me laughing from how adorable it is.
Though now I guess I’m going to stay up all night? I was gonna go with my nana and brother tomorrow to the, idk what to call it, it’s an orchard but also like a really nice store that sells produce and other things. Known for their donuts.
That’s like less than three hours from now, so I was thinking of maybe playing some more to pass the time. I’m not really tired after all that. I just completely lost track of time since I went from one boss to the next.
I’m just trying to figure out which character to play next. I have my bard in act 3, kind of early on. Really has only done the main part of the serial killer quest and Astarion’s quest. Then a wild magic sorcerer in act 2. Both being Tav.
But also there’s some other characters that I’ve made that I’d like to play as. Probably down to three, all dark urge. None are past getting Withers which I do first.
But anyway, yeah. Literally, BG3 is on top games for me. It’s right up there with the Dragon Age series with me. I’d say that as a whole I connected with the cast of DA more, especially Inquisition since that was my first. Then, like, half of Origins. For BG3, it really depended on who stayed in my party. I couldn’t stand Gale when I played my bard, but he became Rowan’s friend and stayed in the party. Then like Karlach was a favorite with the bard and sorcerer, but she wasn’t in the party much at all since I was playing Pally and wanted someone that wasn’t single target damage for the last spot. Astarion and Shadowheart just always being there. Lol.
But with that, Astarion’s quest brought me to tears, and his romance has been my favorite romance in a game. Even beating Alistair, and that guys an adorable dork. Then Shadowheart’s quest also made me cry a bit. Her quest is also up there for me, beating the ones in DA.
Anyway, the credits have been rolling. I’m gonna try to pick between my druid, storm sorcerer, or wizard for the next playthrough.
