#my whole life i thought where i lived had no natural fresh water sources bcs thats what were taught by our books and like turns out#in the olden days ppl did catch rainwter but theere are aquifers aswell!!!#they are just v liekly to get contiminated by saltwater and only like one third are appropriate for irrigation and livestock purposes#obv now an aquifers can not handle the water consumption of the popultion but i feel really enraged rn bcs i feel like its erasure of the#old ppl knowledge
