Fun fact: don’t trust Walmart when they say they’re doing their best to protect people
#my store’s max customer limit is 1040. our highest count since we instated it was 700.#we start having issues with customers not being able to practice social distancing right at 300.#we have groups of 4-6 come in regularly and take one cart and treat it like an outing too#and tons of people buying clear nonessentials. like fucking tvs and grills#none of these people wear masks or take any precautions seriouslu#we also dont clean as much as we should. even the most diligent of us literally cant control the crowds enough to do it right every time#customers have also come in sick. one claimed she was waiting on her test results as she coughed all over her groceries#and also the money she handed my coworker#every safety measure has been put in too late to trust at any level that walmart is not chock full of carriers too.#if you come in please 1. come with as few people as possible 2. get everything in as few trips as possible and 3. use card or an app pay#and: wear a mask. this is not optional. tie a damn shirt around your head if you have to we’ve seen weirder#one of the cartpushers at my store has bruises from the n95 his parents make him wear. you can wear a cloth mask for a half hour#this isnt agression at the reader btw im just. angry and disgusted at what im seeing and its going to get worse as stimulus checks arrive#vent#unsanitary tw#coronavirus#rant#personal#okay to rb#ask to tag
