was doing so well on the next chapter and now im banging my head against the fucking wall why is writing so hard
#this is why i don’t write multichaps bro i don’t have the patience 😭#my spite keeps me writing because im determined not to leave it unfinished but sometimes its like pulling teeth#and i really WANT to keep writing it because i like where the story is going and i like the concept etc etc etc#but it’s just fuckin hard bro#part of the difficulty is i am realizing i write A Lot More than i need to per scene#just bc that’s my writing style#so each chapter i write ~2000 to ~3000 words#and then read what ive written#and im like wow#this is…collectively about an hour of real time events?#and im trying to writing about 4 years worth of events?#like what am i doing 😭#it’s fine i just need to chill
