What do you think the ROs favorite games would be?
I love this ask. For the most part I'm going to do video games because I'm a #gamer but I will branch out for some of them! Under the cut because I'm about to be very annoying about this lmao.
Beck- enjoys bar slash backyard games, like darts and beanbags. Would probably be involved in like. A beer kickball league if they weren't staunchly against organized team sports (but they would kick ass at it). As for video games--anything fast-paced and preferably competitive. They'd loooove Smash Bros (my fiance (an expert at smash) suggested Terry, R.O.B., and Falco as their mains lmao.) And other fighting games!! They'd really want to be good at Soulslikes because they'd enjoy bragging about their skills but they don't have the patience for them.
Croft- the only true gamer on the cast. They hate all sports and yard games. In theory they enjoy board games but they're deeply competitive and a sore loser so I wouldn't recommend it. Probably enjoys extremely complex board games where you spend half the time learning the rules. As for video games they love Soulslikes and Metroidvanias. Anything that takes skill and that they can feel smug about being good at. Hollow Knight and Bloodborne are their favorites. They also fucking LOVE Minecraft they have a casual save on their Switch to play with friends and a Very Not Casual save on their PC for their elaborate castle city they've been building for the past 3 years. Also they enjoy tabletop but they haven't played it in a long time because they didn't have any friends.
Jay- has some distant understanding of video games because Cricket is as much of a gamer as you can be in Easthaven. Has a favorite pokemon (Raikou) and everything. If they were to actually play video games they'd enjoy platformers and puzzle games. And anything with a mystery to be solved!! Despite their Real Life, Jay loves a mystery in fiction. Probably would really enjoy those old Nancy Drew computer games lmao. As for non-video games they really enjoy sports and casual party games! They're pretty good at them, too. Enjoys playing cards, but they're less good at cards. Jay's poker face is abysmal.
Perri- ohhhh Perri deserves to be a gamer soooo bad they'd love it so much. Tragic. They would definitely be a Cozy Game fan--400 hours each in Stardew and Animal Crossing no questions asked. I think they'd also probably be the most well-rounded gamer? Anything from RPGs to fighting games to casual games. I think they'd also really like MMOs, if they lived in a world where they could play them! They're also a big board game fan--they have a pretty wide collection--though they rarely feel like they have the time to play. And they hate sports <3
Ravi- the least likely RO to enjoy games of almost any description. He played basketball in high school and liked it but it's Been A Minute. He wouldn't understand video games even if he lived outside of Easthaven and was used to them. Though...I could see him stumbling onto, like, Pathologic one day and becoming deeply obsessed for like 5 days before never touching it again. Also he enjoys playing chess c:
Yasmin- also a cozy game lover, though to a lesser extent than Perri. No, where I think Yasmin would fall in love with games is through single player RPGs. I am bestowing my deep and unending love of Fallout onto her. So many hours in Skyrim. Has played Dragon Age Origins through 30 times. She's a book nerd who loves a story. Also, I think she'd enjoy IFs, to get meta with it lmao. And I think she'd be very good at games, even though they aren't exactly where her interests lie. Croft would be complaining about struggling to beat a boss in a Fromsoft game and she'd just like. Knock it out after a couple of tries and just hand the controller back after. She's fond of board games and keeps trying to get Perri to bring some over, but Perri is too shy busy and it never happens 😔

This week Sujamma wants to hear all about your big ideas. What’s a new story idea or OC idea you have? Maybe you haven’t fleshed it out yet - this is a great opportunity!
Thank you for the tags @moriche! I think I will tag @gilgamish
I have a new story (working title Cadmus' Harvest) that I made a rough outline for and started on this weekend. It was supposed to be a silly smutty Galmar/Ulfric deflowering story about how Ulfric Stormcloak, who went to be a monk and live with a handful of old guys who do not speak when he was 7 or 8 years old, and then immediately went to Legion Boot Camp at 17-18, must have been the most sheltered, religiously homeschooled kid you've ever known. And Galmar was going to fuck the piety right out of him.
What I've got outlined: a story starting from Galmar and Rikke meeting Weird Religious Homeschool Kid Ulfric at Legion Boot Camp and following them to the Great War where Ulfric turns from the Way of the Voice and veneration of Kynareth to embracing Talos and develops into the leader that Galmar is eventually swearing he will "follow to the depths of Oblivion." But don't worry Galmar will still fuck the piety out of him. There's just going to be a lot more manly warrior angst about it.
KB write a story that doesn't end up an examination of religious trauma challenge(IMPOSSIBLE)(GONE SEXUAL)
This all got kicked off because of a post on r/teslore asking if Ulfric had PTSD. Aside from the "Well, duh," and "Tamriel is PTSD: The Continent" flippant answers, it got me thinking about how the common lay parlance catch-all "PTSD" really doesn't encompass what I think is actually Ulfric's major malfunction. So I started jotting down my notes and references and now I also have a very long meta post in the works about how Ulfric's reaction to the White Gold Concordat culminating in a Berserker State during the Markarth Incident is very explainable through the lens of Moral Injury, not PTSD.
He has a very strong personal moral code: he was pious enough that he was accepted as an acolyte of the Greybeards probably before his 10th birthday, and despite being raised by pacifists (so certainly not on tales of glorious bloody combat) he felt strongly enough about what was happening in Cyrodiil at the hands of the Aldmeri Dominion that he broke his monastic vows and joined the Legion to fight.
The shock of going from a life devoted to non-violence to the horrors of war would cause anyone psychological injury, but then he was captured and interrogated and made to believe that he was responsible for the fall of the Imperial City. All of the killing, rapes, looting, burning, and other horrors that are visited upon a civilian populace after a siege are heaped on his shoulders. But I don't think that was the "killing blow" to his psyche, so to speak.
After the war, he talks about returning to a Skyrim he didn't recognize. At first one would think, well, naturally: he last saw Windhelm and Eastmarch when he was a small child. Of course it would all seem different. But Moral Injury requires a person in rightful authority to create a system where someone cannot help but go against their moral code: I think this is what happened when Ulfric returned to Eastmarch and discovered that his father Hoag had taken the gold in return for agreeing to and enforcing the White Gold Concordat. And as an "extra" son now whose only skill is in fighting (surely they figured out the line of succession when Ulfric was first sent to High Hrothgar) what's the best use of Ulfric's time? Why, heading up the local Windhelm militia, of course! And then Hrolfdir, exiled Jarl of Markarth gets in his ear to tell him about a way he can make all the deaths of his comrades in Cyrodiil mean something again by getting free worship of Talos in Skyrim again...
“The berserker's manic obsession with revenge is not only destruction to gratify rage. At some deep cultural and psychological level, spilling enemy blood is an effort to bring the dead back to life. One veteran recalls the following interior chant to his dead friend at every kill: Every fucking one that died, I say, "____, here's one for you, baby. I'll take this motherfucker out and I'm going to cut his fucking heart out for you.” ― Jonathan Shay, Achilles in Vietnam: Combat Trauma and the Undoing of Character

Leafy's ESO OC masterpost:
Jo'raskha-dar (AKA Jo'ra) (he/him) (born 2E 550):
cathay khajiit templar / canon vestige / multi-time hero of Tamriel
Before he became the Vestige, Jo'ra was just another knahaten flu survivor who wandered aimlessly around Tamriel. He held many jobs throughout his younger years, including being an Undaunted adventurer, a thief, and an injury doctor. He also acted as a general helper for anyone who needed him. Despite everything, he never felt like he had a purpose in life nor a sense of belonging. People often offered him a place within their communities, but he never stayed long.
Anyway, a few years before the events of the game, Meridia saved him from getting killed by a vampire, gave him his templar powers and told him that he would purge her enemies from the world (whether this foreshadows his role in the planemeld or just refers to general undead slaying is up to interpretation). Because of this, Jo'ra became very devoted to worshipping her and became a vampire hunter. Unfortunately, Meridia only viewed him as a tool that she'd use to stop the planemeld one day, and once that was done, she quit acknowledging him altogether. Jo'ra's personal story arc revolves around him slowly discovering that Meridia is not as benevolent as he believed before finally turning his back on her. After Necrom he subclasses Arcanist.
Jo'raskha-dar is a battlemage/healer who's obsessed with Daedra and he knows an alarming amount of obscure facts about each prince. Over the story, he becomes less cheerful and upbeat but his overwhelming kindess and optimism never waver. His main hobbies are furniture making, customizing his clothes, and antiquity hunting. Sharp-as-Night convinces him to take up fishing too. He loves little creatures such as rodents and bugs, his absolute favorite being butterflies. Technically he's part of the Dominion but he wishes he remained neutral in the war. Jo'ra is gay as hell and currently has a thing with Sharp. He'd have more love interests but usually he's too damn dense to realize someone likes him.
Being my main Vestige, Jo'ra is the main character for most of the storylines. The only ones he didn't do at this point are: Most of the DC and EP, the Dark Brotherhood, and Greymoor.

Shabir Al-Satakalaam (they/them) (born 2E 556):
redguard necromancer / covenant hero / of House Ravenwatch
As their name suggests, Shabir is from Satakalaam in the Alik'r Desert. Ever since they were a child, they've had a stronger connection to spirits and the undead than most. Often, this connection lead them to go play in the nearby Motalion Necropolis whenever they were unsupervised. Their magic involving necromancy came to them naturally over time throughout their youth.
While Shabir respects tradition, they hate how many people around them seemed to care for the dead more than the living. So, they use this magic to help the living by using the dead, whether it be by having skeletons carry cargo or forcing spirits to fight away bandits.
In 2E 579, they got caught raising a flesh colossus and were sentenced to be executed. Luckily, their mother is a respected guard captain in the city. As disgusted as she was, she didn't want her child to die, so she secretly pulled some strings to send them away to High Rock, never to return.
They ended up in Daggerfall where they met Captain Kaleen and got roped into her heist in Stros M'kai, which kicked off the Covenant storyline. They became the alliance hero (excluding Alik'r obv, Jo'ra did that) and got especially close with the members of House Ravenwatch. A few years later they tagged along to Western Skyrim and stopped the Grey Host. They're in a romantic relationship with Fennorian and they have a pet vampire bunny.
Tumblr media
Delysa Indoril (she/her) (born 2E 503):
dunmer dragonknight / ebonheart pact hero
Delysa's from Vivec City and she's devoted to the Three (duh, she's an Indoril.) She is also an abolitionist, just as her parents were. She owns multiple homes that serve as safe houses. In 2E 572, she jumped at the first opportunity to join the Ebonheart Pact, because 1. Almalexia formed it and she loves Almalexia and 2. she viewed it as a step forward towards ending slavery in Morrowind.
After the Alliance War started, Delysa was stationed in Bleakrock Isle. When the Covenant invaded, she helped the villagers evacuate but unfortunately couldn't save everyone as she hoped. Feeling angry and guilty, she pressed on and continued to Stonefalls to help the Pact and fight the Covenant. One thing led to another and she became the Pact hero. Along the way, she adopted her daughter, a Nord toddler named Edith who survived the Bleakrock massacre.
As Delysa has a young child and is also too shy to become a main character again, she primarily just does side quests throughout Vvardenfell and the Telvanni Peninsula as of now. She'd also be my main PvP character if Cyrodiil didn't crash my game </3
Tumblr media
Vaerinwe (AKA Vey) (she/her) (born 2E 470):
altmer arcanist
Born into a noble family in Alinor, Vey was part of the psijic order for most of her early life before she became a royal court mage relatively recently. She was extremely loyal to the Dominion and was one of the few high ranking Altmer who wholeheartedly supported Ayrenn's decisions.
In 2E 583 (a year before Summerset and 9 years before Necrom in my canon), she ended up becoming an Arcanist by accident and wound up in Apocrypha. Initially she focused on leaving and going back home, but ended up liking the Daedric realm more and decided to stay. Vey likes reading a lot and she spends half of her life in the Infinite Archive nowadays.
Vey doesn't really have any story relevance I'm afraid (unless they make a DLC or sth that makes me go "omg perfect for Vaerinwe"), she's just frolicking in the ink and eating paper <3
Tumblr media
Bloodied-Paws (true name: S'rakhi) (he/him) (born 2E 546):
suthay khajiit nightblade / silencer / one of the saviors of blackwood
Oh boy doomed siblings! Bloodied-Paws is Jo'raskha-dar's older brother. The two of them left Elsweyr together and then immediately got into a fight and parted ways. Bloodied-Paws eventually found his way to Anvil where he killed a man who annoyed him. This attracted the attention of the Dark Brotherhood. Over the years, he diligently fulfilled many contracts for them until he rose to the rank of Silencer.
In my version of the Sweetroll Killer quest, Jo'ra was still the one who helped Naryu despite not being a DB member. Bloodied-Paws found out about this and became enraged that his brother was close to a member of the Morag Tong. Then he cornered Jo'ra and threatened to kill him if he didn't leave the Gold Coast, which he complied.
The brothers did the Blackwood story together, with Jo'ra handling the daedric aspects and Bloodied-Paws dealing with his DB family members. Despite this, they couldn't reconcile at all. Jo'ra killed Bloodied-Paws at the end of it.
Tumblr media
Rahnabi-daro (she/they) (born 2E 562):
ohmes khajiit templar / dragonslayer / one of the saviors of s. elsweyr
Rahnabi-daro is the baby sister of Jo'raskha-dar and Bloodied-Paws. She looked up to her brothers, especially Jo'ra, a lot as a child. Since the two of them left Elsweyr together without her when she was young, she doesn't really know them that well currently. She and Jo'ra did start making efforts to reconcile after Dragonhold though.
As a young adult she joined Za'ji's crew and they basically became her family of choice. In the Southern Elsweyr storyline, she joined the Dragonguard with her crew to help her brother end the dragon threat.

I love Skyrim and I love Danganronpa so heres my silly little AU that I'm obsessed with:
It is centered around a small group of five protagonists: Teruteru, Sagishi, Kazuichi, Fuyuhiko, and one of my ocs Razaro. They are all on a mission to find a mysterious murderer who has killed important people in each characters family.
LONG POST
Teruteru:
Teruteru is a half Orc/half Nord warrior. His mom was the head wife in a Orc compound but one day a Nord visited the compound. He was kind to her for he was in love with her. She felt the same, enjoying how kind and sweet he was compared to her husband. The nord stayed a couple nights because he was helping in the mine. Well, one night the two got together behind MommaMura's husband's back. And that's when Teru would be conceived. Her husband would eventually find out, kill the Nord, and then banish her. She was lost for a while, until she ran across the town of Riften, where Maramal would take her in and give her shelter. Months later, Teru would be born. He grew up in Riften, getting jobs running errands and such. But…one day while he was out of town running a errand, something horrible would happen back home. He returned only to find that the Temple of Mara had been ransacked by a thief. Maramal and Dinya Balu survived but unfortunately his mother had not…The two priests of Mara were knocked out during the assault, so they didn't get to see the thief's identity. It was from there that Teru decided to go in search of the killer to avenge his mother. Along the way, he would somehow become the Dragonborn. And one day while visiting the Bannered Mare in Whiterun, he would meet two fellow travelers: a dark Elf named Sagishi and a Khajiit named Kazuichi. After some talking, he discovered that they were on the same mission. So the three decided to join up and go to find the mysterious killer
Sagishi:
Sagishi is a Dark Elf with a bit of a interesting background. He was once a student at the College of Winterhold, quite skilled in the magical arts. But he was kicked out for starting to delve in the dark arts. Before that though, he had married a High Elf and fellow student of the College: Ryota Mitarai. The two were extremely close, as they were married. And they even had a daughter together(Ryota is trans in this universe) who's name was Rosemary. They were all happy together. Well, one day Sagishi was sent out on a mission to collect a magical artifact while Ryota and Rosemary stayed at their little home in Dawnstar. Upon returning, he was greeted with the absolutely horrible and heartbreaking sight of his home burnt to the ground…with his family left inside…that's when he decided to start delving in necromancy in a attempt to bring back his loved ones. But he was unsuccessful. He was kicked out of the college for practicing such dark arts and now he travels across Skyrim, searching for the killer and a powerful necromancy spell. He is a quite bitter Dunmer, even before his tragic event. He despised Nords with a burning passion and is prone to snapping at some or anyone who expresses any kind of hatred towards Elfs in general. But he is quite smart as well, being a highly successful student of Winterhold. He is also one of very few who can read and speak Dwemer. Many asked him why he doesn't share that valuable information with researchers or scientists. His explanation: he just doesn't deem any of them worthy of the information. He met Kazuichi one day while exploring a ruin and had a conversation at a camp that Kazuichi had set up outside of the ruin. The two shared their reasons for adventuring and decided to stick together to find the murderer
Kazuichi:
Kazuichi is a excitable Khajiit who grew up by the docks of Windhelm, raised by two Argonians. Kazuichi was found as a mere kitten, his true parents were apart of a Khajiit Caravan that were all slaughtered and burned, all except Kazuichi. Two Argonians took found him and took him in to raise as their own. He grew up working on the docks with his parents and the other Argonian workers. But all his life he wondered how his true parents died and who killed them in the first place. He had also been very curious about Khajiit culture, wanting to get in touch with his roots. One day he decided he was finally ready to face the outside world and go in search for answers. He was a rather fearsome warrior, despite his personality and appearance. He played a part in the Civil War between the Imperials and the Stormcloaks, siding with the Imperials in the war. But he was still on a mission to unravel the mysteries behind his families murder, so he still travels on in search for answers
Fuyuhiko:
Fuyuhiko is a High Elf from Cyrodiil who moved to Skyrim with his sister Natsumi, aiming to just visit for a while. The two were pretty pampered back home and never had the need to fight so neither has any fighting experience. In Skyrim, they stayed in Markarth, both fascinated by the old Dwarven city. One day Natsumi had decided to go explore outside of town. Fuyuhiko warned against it but decided that Natsumi would just go anyway so he didn't really bother. He stayed in Markarth while she was gone. But he started to get concerned the later it got in the day. Eventually he decided to search for her. He grabbed his horse and searched the land around Markarth for her. Sadly though, he did find her…but not alive. She, like the others, was burned. She was found in a burning abandoned house, she seemed she was exploring it but it led to her being killed in the process by a unknown assailant. Fuyuhiko, enraged, pledged to find her killer and end their life in revenge. He went in search for them, eventually finding himself in Solitude. He met up with the other three protagonists at the Winking Skeever. Like the rest, they joined together in pledge to find this serial killer. But because of his lack of fighting, the rest of the group promised to teach and train him
Razaro:
Razaro is a mysterious Breton. He tends to stay to himself but is highly known to be a fierce necromancer and the new leader of the Dark Brotherhood. He is feared by many but he has no issues with this. He doesn't mind the attention, but he would be happier if he wasn't really bothered. His mission in life is to find whoever killed his mother. He lived in Morthal, raised by his mother. He grew up helping around the tiny village, helping the residents like Falion or he Jarl. One day while running an errand for the Jarl, his house was also robbed…and burned with his mother inside. Nobody around the village saw who did the killing. Filled with rage and grief, he pledged to find the killer as well. He went on to join the College of Winterhold and eventually joined the Dark Brotherhood. He killed the emperor himself during his journey. Unlike the past four, he met the group not in a pub or inn, but instead at a Dwemer ruin, where they all had a standoff. Razaro eventually was reasoned with and after learning about the groups mission, decided to join in as well.
That's my AU and I'll make more stuff about it since it's stuck in my brain. I just love Skyrim and V2 okay HZNZNNZNZ

11. Explain the origins of your muse. Why did you choose them? What’s your focus with this character?
Munday Asks ;; Accepting
Yes !! I love telling this story !!
Ara was my first oc & has been through dozens of renditions since I was a young teen. Her first rp rendition was in the dc comics rpc - more specifically the batman / gotham rogues gallery. I was tiptoeing my way into rp & got to know a bunch of Riddler rpers. There were .... so so so many of them. I'm sure there still are, but I think the original group I wrote with are either long gone or moved onto greener pastures.
Ara was originally crafted for the soul purpose of pissing off the Riddler. I wanted her to be clever enough keep up, but naive enough to continue getting into trouble. She wouldn't solve the puzzle traps through the traditional means - he'd tell her a riddle & she'd be like : well, actually, I have a screwdriver so I'll just go ahead & fuck up your dumb trap from the inside out. It was loads of fun. I plotted out a lot of completely ridiculous & unhinged bs with a few Eddie's & she even befriended some. But that's where her origin as an annoying sneak thief really kicked off & stuck.
After my Gotham rogues gallery obsession I hit a pretty bad depression spell & got really ..... really ..... really into Skyrim. It was the only game I touched for four years straight. Ara meshed in pretty well with TES as a thief & she became a footpad for the Thieves Guild. I didn't know very much about TES as a whole back then, but my Uncle gifted me his copy of Oblivion & the official guide ; which I treasure because my Uncle is disabled & very ill - he gifted me these things because he was no longer able to play anymore & it upset him even keeping them in the house. So Oblivion is very special to me for that reason - I went into my first playthrough with the intention of continuing his adventures & it spiralled into a genuine love of mine.
I made Ara for that first playthrough & I've made a few more since then. I kept up with the sneak thief theme, but after playing through the Shivering Isles something really stuck with me. I loved the idea of a 'fall from grace' but it was something a little more than that? She wasn't falling from grace, she'd already done that, but she was going home. This gave her a greater purpose. I feel like I was able to cement her character more after committing to the HoK & Sheo situation while still honoring her past renditions as a trickster, thief & misguided youth.
Ara doesn't fit the traditional role of a hero. She never has. Her loyalties are sporadic, her feelings are just as hypocritical, she's a young woman desperate for purpose & identity while adamantly fighting off authority & genuine aid. The Shivering Isles questline works for her because Sheo's own obsession & manipulation meshes so well. Ara needed identity. He forced one upon her while simultaneously convincing her it would be self-serving. She was given praise, power, a wonderland to rule, & a mentor (Haskill) who is predisposed to codependency. She is a prisoner & victim of the realm - but she is blissfully unaware of this. Sheogorath ruined her & any chance she had of recovery. & she thanks him for this. She thinks he was the only one to understand her. She thinks this is her best outcome. Her current storyline is an accumulation of years of a toxic young miss finally finding purpose - albeit a horrific one. Ara is finally happy. & it's a lie. I'm not sure I'll ever find anything more suiting.

hi my name is poe ( they/them. 23. est ) ! and i’m very excited to be here <3 i can’t wait to write with all of you :3 this is my goblin eli and while i woke up late and don’t have a background written up or anything you can find an info dump ( plus some wanted connections ) under the cut which will hopefully give you some insight ! like this if you’d like to plot ! it’s easier to get a hold of me on d*scord : kangaroo court#6392 but ims are fine too ! :D
Tumblr media
✼:♡*゚✿ ↝  jeon jungkook . demi boy . he/they .  /  elijah “ eli ” kang is blasting are you bored yet? by wallows again … ugh , i swear they play that song every single day ! you’d think they’d learn how to pipe down . oh , you don’t know them ? they live in apartment 4b . i haven’t talked to them much , but i know that they’re twenty three years old , and that they’ve been living in the complex for three years . i always run into them when they’re coming back home from vinny’s vinyls , and they seem really gregarious and flighty . maybe you’ll have better luck with the aries than i do .
muse info :
he’s a typical american so getting used to canadian culture is still a thing for him. he can do a pretty good accent though ( in his opinion which means it actually sucks ).
he works at vinny’s vinyls and is obsessed with music. his favorite band is wallows but he has a soft spot for all those 2000s pop punk and emo bands. if he recommends fall out boy to you at the register just go with it and act like you’ve never heard of them.
his walls are covered in various records he’s collected some albums he really loves and some he just likes the look of ( ugh posers amirite ? ).
he really loves dogs and most animals in general. if you go through his tiktok fyp it’s filled with farmers and people who take care of animals most people wouldn’t have as a pet.
he’s known pretty much all his life that he’s nonbinary like the idea of being masculine never appealed to him so he just kinda vibes with it. if you ask him he’ll say gender is a myth and he’s never understood it. he’s obsessed with being a he/they like as soon as he found out what a demi boy was he just knew it fit.
also he’s bisexual so he’s just in love and wanting to sleep with everyone KFJDSHJFSD
due to his aries nature he tends to get crushes easily then stupidly admits to them but gets over them in two weeks and ghosts them :/
he’s really bad at committing like really really bad. he’s never had a relationship last longer than three months and he tends to leave people bitter about it because he doesn’t break up with them he just disappears. if your muse hates aries then he might be why.
he loved the idea of living alone because at home he’s the youngest of five siblings and being stuck in a house ( shared bedrooms forever since as the youngest he got the short end of the stick ) with them made him crave alone time. but now he gets lonely a lot and regrets not having a roommate. so whoever he’s friends with he comes in and crashes on their couch a lot for no reason other than he wants to. so you might have to kick this bum out personally
that being said he loves his family a lot and facetimes with his parents and the siblings he can get a hold of at least once a week. they drive him nuts though but in like the best way possible.
he tends to stay up way too late and for some reason that’s when the act up urges hit so if you hear somebody else blaring at 3 am he’s fine i promise ( maybe ).
he never drinks water and suffers from constant headaches but refuses to drink it. his fridge is filled with various flavors of monster blue powerade and mountain dew. he hates the taste of coffee and alcohol ( he still drinks the latter though ).
he really likes video games so if he randomly invites your muse over to play mario kart on the switch it’s either to brag or he’s just trying to hit on you. he’s a shyguy main btw.
talk to him about video games and he’ll get lost in the convo for hours. he loves open world games the best i.e. skyrim breath of the wild red dead redemption 2. but he also likes rpgs and nintendo games.
he runs cold most of the time so he always has a hoody on.
he loves anime so talk to him about anime ( especially my hero academia ) and he has figurines of his favorite character bakugo.
he has a lot of badly done tattoos on his hand and arm just because he gets bored then goes and gets something done.
he wears five earrings in each ear and used to have them gauged but they grew back and he’s too lazy to get them done again. he also has his hair done in an undercut currently and he loves putting it up in ponytails or buns.
if you make him a playlist he’ll fall in love with you immediately.
he’s really good at binging tv shows. he rewatched hannibal in three days and gets done with most new netflix series in a day.
he’s allergic to peanut butter but sometimes he eats uncrustables to see if he’s gotten over thinking he can just build up an immunity to it.
wanted connections:
exes ( any gender. i’m really wanting multiple plots of like people that eli’s strung along and left in the dust. )
hookups / fwbs ( any gender. singular experiences or regular type things )
i haven’t decided where he’s from so hmu for childhood plots. i’m a sucker for childhood besties, first kisses and crushes.
be his infatuation of the week ( this can be multiple plots but i want eli confessing his feelings then getting over them and ghosting leaving your muse confused. i want the awkward run ins and confrontations ! )
you come into vinny’s vinyls and ask him for recs but he just goes on about how good mcr is.
you nag him to please drink some water because he’s clearly dying of dehydration.
come play mario kart with him. he’ll say he’s gonna win but more than likely he’ll lose.
you check up on him because he’s listening to fleetwood mac’s rumours at 4 in the morning and you’re wondering if he’s ok and also you just wanna sleep.
tinder date ( it can go well or not )
he’s eaten peanut butter again and you’re the one who has to drag his stupid ass to the hospital.
you’re the friend whose couch he crashes on constantly. maybe one night you’re trying to bring someone home and he won’t leave and you’re trying to nicely make him get the hint but he refuses so you have to be mean about it.
literally anything you can think of i’m probably down for it !

Introductions pt. 1 Seanil
Not a sellsword
It was an early morning in Markarth, the birds were singing, and the city felt like it was waking up. Except for one patron of the Silver-Blood inn, he was passed right out at a table in the corner, his dented and scraped Dwarven armor still shown in some places, reflecting light coming in through the windows and the small candle in front of him, the innkeepers didn't seem to have a problem with him, but he did look suspiciously like the Dragonborn everyone seemed to be obsessed with now. So, naturally, you gently shook him, trying to get him to wake. He did, his bright red hair falling in front of his face as he sat up properly, turning to you, confused and groggy from sleep.
"Am I being kicked out?" He asked, starting to get ready to leave if needed
"Oh, no! Not at all. I just wanted to make sure you were alright. Being asleep so close to an open flame and all." You quickly explained, not wanting to be misconstrued.
"Ah... Anyway, the names' Seanil, and who would you be ma'am?" He smiled, though his head was pounding, and everything seeming just a tad too loud. Seanil really just wanted to go back to sleep and hopefully wake up either in Sovngarde or without the massive headache.
"[Y/N]." You smiled back, you wanted to ask if he actually was the savior of Skyrim- no, savior of Tamriel, but if he is, the poor man's probably heard that question repeated thousands of times.
"You're staring." Seanil broke you from your thoughts, causing a light blush out of embarrassment, unsure if what to say.
After what felt like an eternity of silence, you finally spoke up
"I'm sorry if you get this a lot, but are you the dragonb-"  "Yes I am. and before you ask, it's not as fun as you think." He interrupted, really just tired of the endless questions. You save the world once and everyone thinks you're the greatest person ever, but really, he was just a normal adventurer who gets drunk far too much.
"Right..." You nodded trailing off, back to the same problem, the conversation coming to an uncomfortable halt. "So, other than y'know... what do you do? Like for a living." You took a seat in the chair across from Seanil, your [F/A] scraping against the wood. The nord just shrugged at the question, really not sure how to answer without sounding like a pretentious ass.
"I wander Skyrim, taking petty bounties, helping folks where I can. That sort of thing." Seanil explained simply. You perked up happily, knowing this was your shot to get out of this smoggy city, and even The Reach and see what the rest of the snowy province had to offer. Never daring to stray far from the hold alone, but also being either too proud or too stubborn to pay for help
"I could come with you. If you don't mind that is..." You offered excitedly, hoping that he would say yes.
Seanil thought for a moment before nodding.  "Sure. A little company would be nice, what do you charge?" He asked in return, shifting slightly to reach for his coin purse
"Charge...? Oh, nothing at all. I'm not a mercenary." You smiled, not wanting to trouble him with expenses. Seanil looked at you curiously, cocking an eyebrow, not believing that you didn't need to be paid for anything.
You both just sat in silence for a while, just staring at each other. Seanil not wanting to accept the help without earning it, despite him literally saving the world for at least another century and you just wanting an excuse to leave.  After a moment more, Seanil laughed heartily
"You really are set on this? Alright." He caved, giving up for the time. "You got a weapon? If not, I know someone in Riverwood who will set you up with great steel." The least he could do was offer, not wanting his new-found companion to die within the week.
"I have my [F/W] in my room." You remarked, gods this man was worrying too much about someone he had just met.
"Ok, grab that and we'll head off." The nord said, standing up slowly, not wanting to be any more dizzy than he was. He steadied himself on the table. As you returned to your room, strapping your weapon on quickly.
This will be a wild time. You look forward to it more than anything you had before.

Games of the Decade (2010-2019 Edition)
So since 2020 is approaching, I thought I’d make a list of games that I’ve played during my journey, the year is 2010 I was about 23 years old (on the cusp of being 24) and I’ve decided to stop playing World of Warcraft for my own physical and mental health (you see I never thought that this would happen to me being addicted to that game for so many years that I have shunned away from society, I gave up on humanity, I didn’t want to go out and celebrate with my ‘friends’ and Azeroth became my home for the past 6 years and it became an unhealthy obsession that one day I’ve collapsed at home and woke in a hospital.) When the doctors were swarming around my bed asked me “Can I remember what happened to me before I collapsed?” the answered but then they bombarded me with more questions... I wanted to scream “STOP!”, until one doctor (a psychiatrist) overheard my story and had an emergency 1-to-1 session with him, he even asked the ‘right questions’ (funny how we can say the wrong answers... but the wrong questions? Made me laugh.) The phychiatrist smiled and said “Welcome back”.
So I’ve decided to quit World of Warcraft and started to readjust to society that my Mum gave me an XBox 360. Now I was overwhelmed by the choices I didn’t know where to start (granted I had the Wii and now an XBox 360) I was really lost in thought until someone actually wanted to talk to me I shall call him ‘Dan’ and we hit it off “Yes, I do look like I am lost you see I am a recovering World of Warcrack addict and I am given an XBox 360, what games do you recommend?” and this is when Dan got out Borderlands, Fallout, Fallout: New Vegas (2010 Honourable Mention) and Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2 (2010). You see Dan’s preferred genre is Shoot ‘em ups and I on the other hand tend to enjoy RPGs so I got the best of both worlds.
Mass Effect 2 has this system where if you played and completed Mass Effect you can import your save file, get some additional perks and pick up where you have left off. I seem to like that concept where “Do I need to play the first game to play and understand the story?” to me the answer is “yes” as you gain additional content but it’s the iconic “suicide squad mission”
So we are at 2011 and Minecraft (2011 Honourable Mention) is in it’s infancy and even though I’ve played it later, I enjoyed watching the Yogscast’s “Shadow of Israfel” series and there are times when I occasionally watch a YouTube video looking at other people’s creations (“Man, I need to get myself a copy of Minecraft when I finish my games of the decade.” —Matt. But only 2 games have approached me and they are Xenoblade Chronicles (2011) and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim (2011). With the Wii going into retirement and even though Super Mario Galaxy 2 (2011 Honourable Mention) is a popular title in the Wii library... I went down the niche path and picked Xenoblade Chronicles is the perfect swan song for the Wii and one of my all time favourite games that I’ve enjoyed playing. There are many things that Xenoblade Chronicles has offered me and what appealed to me are...
The amazing soundtrack (where it has music for the day and the night cycles)... I tend to use the nighttime music to help me go to sleep.
The unique world building, where Homs, Nopon and (there is this race of angels I can’t remember what they are called) live on these dead gigantic titans Bionis and the Mechonis.
A story that started out Shulk wanting revenge but that revenge eventually turned into understanding.
With Skyrim I ALWAYS seem to find my way coming back to this game as it gives me a ton of replay value that I even create my own D&D characters and put them in Skyrim. Whenever I am stressed with the latest releases I sometimes pop in Skyrim and go on all these adventures and explore and when I had enough I know I can always go to Whiterun and stay in Breezehome. I sometimes go on YouTube to watch my Grandma play Skyrim (OK she is not biologically my Grandma but she adopted/treated us like her grandkids).
During this 4 year skip all the way to 2014 and I’ve developed an awesome relationship with Dan for 5 years and I moved out of my parents house in 2011 (I was suffocating in my parents house (my sister was hit by clinical depression and my brother got kicked out of his flat by his knife weilding maniac of a wife) I am an adult and I NEED my own space so what did I get for a housewarming gift? Borderlands 2 (2014) I still have the loot box. But my independence was short lived by my roommate who I shall call William and he was so toxic to me and my friends who come round to visit, there was an incident when I left the house he goes into my room and steals my belongings (I know had to lock my bedroom door) It was Thanksgiving when I was in need of rescuing and William was becoming domestic abusive towards me and Dan’s Dad Scott who was visiting from the States felt a disturbance in the force... he felt that I was in danger and he was right. I had to move into a new flat (I was happy to live on my own) Dan saw it, my parents saw it and even my support workers saw how crappy/unhappy I was. When I moved into my new flat, Dan gave me a parting gift Shovel Knight (2014)
Now 2015 I have picked up the pieces that I’ve lost and rediscovered my sense of self after how much William warped mine for a few years and I’ve finally move on from it. With Dan moving back to the States and I picked up a copy of The Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt (2015) on a later date (I personally never thought it be be ported onto the Switch) I developed the concept that humans can be monsters (even in politics) and monsters can have a shred of humanity.
With 2017 was was hoping for Persona 5 to be released on Valentines Day but it was rescheduled and for me who has 8th Grader Syndrome (I know when to keep my Chunnibyou dormant and when to let my hair down and embrace it when the time is right) I enjoyed the story of how us millennials and Gen Z get to be viewed as degenerates. With the Wii U going into retirement I got the Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and although not entirely my favourite Zelda title... I am a person who loves to have direction/structure and more importantly story (and not just charge into Hyrule Castle and fight Calamity Ganon) to have that amount of freedom and I can easily get distracted “Oooh let’s have a look over there!” I regret not giving Super Mario Odyssey (Honourable Mention) a chance nor gave it a fair shake, I bought the Switch because both of the joy-cons are uniform (I was leaning towards getting the grey but red spoke out to me the loudest).
2018 Super Smash Bros Ultimate need I need to say more? OK, I enjoyed the opening song Lifelight... Everyone is here (to have Roy from Fire Emblem) I even loved seeing the DLC fighters not being exclusive to Nintendo (Atlus) Joker from Persona 5, (Rare) Banjo Kazooie, (Square) ‘Hero’ from the Dragon Quest series, (SNK) Terry Bogard from Fatal Fury... although I wanted the Garou: Mark of the Wolves costume added into the equation.
2019 was the year that hit me hard the most Fire Emblem: Three Houses reminded me that I need to cherish the friends I have, I grew up with them since school and college but we all went on our separate paths. Some are married, some started have a family, some have jobs and some have moved to a different country. When I dumped my old friends that I grew up with since my childhood (but felt left out all the time) for new ones that I known for a decade as adults (and had a lot in common and felt that I was included.) So when Dan died in 2019... I felt a huge piece of me was ripped away from me... the man who exposed me to console gaming... I am never going to see him again.

Dungeons and Dragons Loneliness
Another interview with lofi music. Today was a pretty shitty day, alot on my mind. Here to unload.
Today’s mood: Fuck it all...
It’s a mad addiction, a horrendous one. It’s all I think about, it’s all I want to talk about. Or almost anything fantasy related. I’ve recently gotten a little closer with one of my co workers. Delerner Banks, everyone calls him Del. He’s always in the tunnel, and always brings warhammer books to read and do work (whatever it is he’s working on.) We talk about fantasy related things all the time, and sometimes we bounce ideas off each other, feeling out our thoughts of settings and lore. Talking to him about some fantasy before leaving work made me feel alot better. The loneliness inside has been eating at me.
I know it’s salt, I know its jealousy, that I’m mad at my friends. They been hanging out more without me, playing cards and shit. Its not a passion of mine, its fun sometimes, but its still not me. Its what they bond over, its what they do together, and that’s what theyre into. If I had to guess, they’re okay with Dungeons and Dragons, but even my best friend said that I take it too serious. Its fallen out of their favor, it eats up a lot of time, and they each have their version of what a fun campaign would be like. In me, I said to myself, “Fine, fuck it. I’ll have to assemble another crew to play with.” Tough situation then isn’t it? Wanting to play a social game that needs bodies, during an age where social gatherings are frowned upon, because they carry a potential to spread a virus... Still, this is what I want to do. I want a group of friends, who share the same passion I do. My current friends must think ill of me, they may just want to hang out. They think that if they come hang with me, I’ll want a game of DnD without a doubt. They just want to chill and kick it, they don’t want to roll dice. But ask me once and I’ll tell you yes twice, to playing DnD.
I love it with all my heart, all of the contents and materials are here, ready to play. No extra investments, no money needed to be spent, we can get going off of nothing like we did back then. A table top roleplaying game, we started with cardboard and lego figures, and just two books to share. But there was fun to be had, and a few heated sessions. But fun it was, the more we played the deeper i grew fond of the game. I’m even willing to experiment with other systems if I have someone to guide me. With cards, you gotta constantly update your arsenal to keep up with the meta, and let’s be real, not playing anything remotely close to meta isn’t as fun. Different formats allow different decks, and to keep current you gotta keep up. I dont have the fundings for it, I dont have the luck. I would rather buy a module that’ll last for years, versus a pack of cards. I have two books that have skyrocketed in value, cards go up and down like stocks. But thats the appeal I suppose, I don’t care for it though.
Back to the thing at hand, I’m in their group chat as they make plans. I can’t be there for all that. But fuck it, that’s all Im going to say. Fuck it, on repeat, until its engraved into my head. Pride is getting the best of me, I refused to be denied again. If it’s not something they want to do, so be it, I need to look out for me in the end.  I must muster up the courage to start playing online again, the first one wasn’t bad, but it fell apart. I need to get the courage to be social, and get over the fear that everyone expects you to be a pro player. I’m scared going into this green still, roll20 isn’t my forte. But if I want to play DnD, this seems to be my only option. It may fulfill my wish, to find friends who are just as passionate as I. My other friends, they’re over on the other side. Its fine, it truly is, they have one another, and I need to be strong. I need to find the strength in this loneliness, even though its tearing me apart. My circle becomes smaller, thats just the way of the world. Adapt to survive, be formless like water...
Dungeons and Dragons, my greatest escape. I can be anybody, and do things I normally can’t. I can clobber up bad guys, indecent folk, and finesse my way out of punishment from the law. I can save a village, a town, a kingdom, when I can hardly save myself. I can fly, cast spells, break locks, imagination is my only limit. I can hoard and amass vast amounts of riches, I myself can even become a dragon. I don’t have to be me, although a bit of me resides in everyone I’ve made before. I can never truly separate myself, from those Ive breathed life into. For hours on end, I can go anywhere, do anything, I melt into the world thats placed before me.
Because the reality is that I’m practically shit, and nobody. The world is fucked up and jacked up and spiraling down the drain. I’m mentally fucked and my physicality is pretty much the same. I’m stuck in place when the world is demanding me to change. I lost with no real direction. No map in hand, no guide, and I’m scared out of my mind. I don’t know whether to trust the process or commit suicide. Im not sure where I’ll end up, if it’s good or bad. Im struggling, I’m suffering, and there seems to be no end. I could say I’m trying, but I would be lying, if I had to look at the brighter side. The positive things in life are so hard to identify. But my emotions are raw and hit hard, slamming against the walls in my skull. Demanding me to give them attention...and attention I give them, as they tear me up. Like being pulled at by the limbs, drawn and quartered is the method it seems like today. I was thinking that I couldn’t drink forever, my body would eventually reject. But what if I drank energy drinks on end, a heart attack to get me out of this place. I can down those all day long, so whats stopping me from taking that way out of it? Less grotesque and violent, it’ll probably be painful as hell. An organ seizing up, as the body ceases the function. I get said thinking about it sometimes, but one day, enough will be enough. But damn that lady...damn her for speaking those words... Tomorrow. If nothing is better by tomorrow, then do as you may. But sleep it off, tomorrow is another day.
It’s not verbatim, but its the gist. Just wait for tomorrow, and hopefully things will change. The choice is still mine to make, and something in me pushes me forward, keeps me going on. Sometimes I think about who I’m leaving behind, and maybe how much it’ll hurt. The evil darkness inside me says that they’ll get over it, they have to, and time doesn’t wait. I won’t be immortalized, I’ll simply end up a statistic. That maybe itll be a few years the sadness remains fresh, but wounds always heal. Discrediting my actual existence, and any form of relations. Like I wouldn’t have made any actual impressions, people don’t weep for me now. People kind of forget I exist already, what makes me think they won’t after I’m gone?
I think about my folks, my grandma, my girlfriend, my second family, and other close dear friends. I think about how many last will letters I would have to put out there, before I call for the curtains. Sometimes, I say I will start writing them, but they give me pause. I end up not wanting to leave this world, after pouring out my heart. Because I don’t want to leave any questions behind for people who matter, I want them to know how I felt before I passed. I want to leave with them apart of me, so they would never forget.
Still it doesn’t change, shit is rough as of lately, work has been eating me up. I feel like Im never hundred percent, and me back on gaming is making it worst. I’ve gotten back onto Elder Scrolls Skyrim, its been my virtual version of DnD. Waiting for the Outer World Expansion, so I can get addicted to that again. All I want to do is play Dungeons and Dragons, the question is how do I make that into a living? I think being a Matthew Mercer is one in a million, I don’t think I’m that great. I’m willing to learn, grow, evolve because it is my passion, but I’m always scared of making mistakes. To be one of the greater Dungeon Masters, to be THE Wizards of the Coast Dungeon Master, it may possibly be the dream. To eat, sleep, breathe, Dee en Dee. My obsession isn’t that crazy though, I’m still behind on the lore of creatures and settings, I haven’t studied at all. But with the right drive and motivation, I would, especially with something as real as a legit group.
Enthusiastic players, who show up every week, bi weekly, once every month even, to play this fantastic game. Group of chill folks who is willing to take the Dungeon Master Mantle with I get burned out and have the desire to be in the player seat. One of those is the driving force, they make me want to plan. They make me want to make the world, the style, everything in general better, with the constructive feedback. I mean it’s been so long as I was a player in a campaign until the end, I’m beginning to think paying for a Dungeon Master wouldn’t be so bad. Once a month? A couple of hours? I mean I’m thinking like seven USD per hour? Eight isn’t bad, but after that it becomes a questionable amount. It repeats in my head, “No DnD is better than Bad DnD”, this much is probably still true. I say still because I still might want at least one session with said game, so I can at least say it was the worst after having attempt it, rolling something. Ha ha, I kid myself, I’m lying because I know the rage would be all to real and caution is my game most of the time. But I mean, I just might have to start exploring the idea, I was definitely going to ask on FaceBook if any Roll20 games was recruiting a newbie.
Alas, today won’t be the last time I speak on the matter, Dungeons and Dragons haunt me everyday. I stare at minis, I stare at the upcoming books and modules, and I watch youtube where they tell RPG Horror Stories, Its become a huge part of my life, such as dancing once was. It almost links right into my earliest talents...writing. I love to write, just like I’m doing now. Im fairly decent at the writing game if I must say. Hey, real life failed Bard here, I should make one who always ends up playing big bro, and end up being friendzoned by all his interests. Im short, so Halfling is very true. Am I charismatic? Who knows, I can’t say for sure. But yes, I feel like this is what I need, a solid weekly game, maybe once every two weeks, hell, once every month would still be great. Something to look forward to the very least, in this life of routine and mundane. Something to look forward to for me, something that’s my own. Something I don’t need my closer friends to be apart of, since they’re not interested anyhow. I’m really talking shit because I’m hella salty, but at least I’m being upfront. Get it all out now, before the typing is done.
It’s been a productive session, I may have to attribute it to Lofi it seems. The Lofi Hip Hop Radio on YouTube, also found on Spotify. Some tracks still strike me deep in the chest, giving me horrible flash backs and feeling in my chest. Others keep me going, forward, almost propelling. I’m currently training myself to be accustomed to the sounds, because I at first was very scared. That it would just transport me to a dark place and keep me there. I’ve been trying to confront my feelings more with this music, I think I felt better after last session like this. The more I faced myself, the better I became. Yes, I most definitely referenced Persona 4, another amazing and loved title because of the message it portrays. I always wondered what my shadow self would look like, and what they would say. But eh another time, I’m about to start rambling again. I have to conclude here, before I get off topic.
Until next time Tumblr...

I Caved
I finally got a lil sick of not playing Skyrim, so I finally created my own PlayStation account and created a new character. I couldn’t stay away any longer after blogging about how I hadn’t played for awhile, and I basically spent a good six hours playing despite having family over for most of the day (today was Mama’s day).
Her name is Cahira, she has yellow face paint, and I love her. She kicks ass. Literally.
I think I’m going for a battlemage build right now. And despite my brain knowing that Breton is the traditionally ‘best’ race for playing (resistance to magic, and all them other magic wielding perks) I made her a kickass Redguard because yes.
And also because the extra Redguard face paint designs are SO COOL. IM serious. I was looking at the presets for Redguards, because they’re all really pretty, and came across hers and I absolutely lost it. I kept trying to go a create a Breton that might look similar but nah, this Redguard preset was the best by far. After playing around with hair and eye color, I chose the Redguard valiantly and named her Cahira, because I’m a sucker for powerful lady names.
Now knowing how to play the game and being better at the mechanics, the beginning was a Lot easier... and didn’t take me an extra fifteen minutes to get out of Helgen because I couldn’t jump from one building to another. I also realized that when I was playing on my brother’s account I must’ve messed up the controls somehow because my character NEVER ran. I didn’t know how to do it. Seriously. Like instead of the run button being on L1 (like it is now) it was sneak beforehand. And instead of sneak being on L3, it was change POV, which always sucked when I was fighting because I press down hard when I get stressed. It’s much less annoying now cuz now it just sneaks whenever I press that.
Still gotta work on fixing my muscle memory though, so I’ll stop running when I’m meant to be sneaking. Otherwise? It’s a great structure and really comfortable, and I still have no idea how I ruined it on my other account.
This time I went straight into everything and became a Thane of Whiterun as soon as I could. I intend to go straight to Winterhold once I finish a quick mission for the Companions (I joined them early this time) and go visit the good ol’ Greybeards. I honestly felt really bad for Farkas when Aela and Skjor were making fun of him. Plus when he was showing to me to the quarters he was like, “They enjoy making fun of me, but they’re good people” like Bruh. I felt So Bad. I love Aela but I wanted to post up. Like yes, Farkas might have dumb bitch disease but they don’t need to be so Mean. Same with Vilkas. I know he’s the stronger and smarter one but it sucks how they all talk badly about Farkas. Ugh, I gotta stop defending videogame characters like they’re people.
Tumblr media
I got a note from an unknown male friend (so I know it’s not Delphine) telling me to find the power in Valthuim, which I’m not even sure I know about so I’ll have to check that out once I get all those magic powers I want at Winterhold. In a way, I’ll be doing the same thing I was doing as Toril, except with more knowledge of how to play well, but with a lower level character.
I still play Adept difficulty, but I’m currently at level 5 so I don’t think it matters. I’m focusing a lot more on smithing than I was previously, and dove straight into collecting ingredients for Alchemy. My favorite strategy right now is honestly just chugging a bunch of health potions mid-battle and hoping not to die. Making money is also soo easy, though I’m sure it was before and I was just really bad at saving it; I almost found myself buying a place in Whiterun immediately, but I figured I’d explore a little before that and just chose to join the Companions instead. My inventory isn’t that full yet and I haven’t collected any books, so right now I’m more focused on exploring.
Also, I decided to go with Ralof in the beginning this time. I still think the Stormcloaks are assholes, and genuinely do prefer to stay on neither side, but damn it is fun as hell to act all ballsy when running into the Thalmor. They suck, and it’s fun to just get in their way. I tried once and died Immediately though because I was too weak, but next time, I won’t mind being an asshole to them by letting someone run free.
I have some pretty small goals for right now, which is 1) Not to kill Lydia by accident again, 2) Meet Ulfric since people say he’s an interesting character and 3) Get really good at magic. I know, boring, but I just wanna see all the powerful magical options since originally I just focused on fighting and heavy armor. I still love that way of playing, but I figured a battlemage is just gonna be slightly out of comfort zone but also just really fun to play as. My character is dope as as hell and is still fresh so she just has a lot of potential.
Also maybe me choosing my characters based on how pretty I think they are is probably gonna get in the way, but frankly I don’t mind. I chose the mage stone in the beginning, despite initially wanting to have a cool warrior character again, but it’s ok. I can still live my powerful warrior lady dreams through Toril, whom I still love very much and am missing despite how how awesome Cahira also is.
As I keep leveling up, I’m gonna use my perks on blocking, any magicka stuff, and one-handed weapons and armor. Sure I’ll broaden that as I go, but that’s what I’m mainly focusing on. I’m definitely gonna pay more attention to blocking and armor than I did before because those just seem like really useful skills, and an insanely easy way to make money. I bought some iron ore off a black smith and saved myself so much after smelting it into a ingot and creating hella weapons to sell it back to them. Once again, I’m sure everyone has already done this, but it’s new to me and I’m a little slow at being good at games. But I’m getting there!
So yea, that’s it for today. Me and Farkas have dumb bitch disease, though I still don’t like him Like That™, and I’m still very obsessed with this game. I’m waking up and doing my assignments immediately tomorrow so I don’t slack off the rest of the day, but as soon as I finish chores and excercise I’ll get on it. I’m pretty sure I’m failing gym because I keep forgetting to turn logs in, but it’s fineee. Skyrim will protect me from my fear of failure. Thank you for reading! Hope you enjoyed!

in the past: skyrim. most recently: definitely dishonored.when i started playing skyrim for the first time it kinda.. really kicked off my creative juices because i was like oh? cool fantasy world? well i want that too! so that’s when i really started working on my original story. because i just wanted a fantasy world of my own? with elves and magic and dragons and all that stuff but,, My Own with my own characters. and i would draw and write a lot back then. good times.honestly and da has influenced me creatively a lot as well. gotta give credit to it hhhhhh. when i got into it i would also constantly draw and write about my ocs.but most recently the stuff i’ve been writing or painting is mostly dishonored and i haven’t been writing much this year and getting into dh Again towards the end of this year suddenly made me want to write again?? which is amazing and i really have dh to thank for that :^)
14. Favorite game music?
obviously so many. video game music is just mwah.so ofc skyrim soundtrack is very close to my heart. like. all of it. feels like home.then tw3 soundtrack is very unique and i love it a lot. specifically the white orchard and skellige ambience. also the hunter’s path and on the path of velen.world of warcraft eversong woods ambience……… Very close to my heart as well. and then many other wow tunes. i might not be into wow that much but it’s still the first game i ever played and so the soundtrack just.. feels like home. kinda like with skyrim.also ok. one (1) thing i like about dai is the soundtrack, but mostly just the one from trespasser and the descent. those are nice
15. If it was a requirement to get a game related tattoo, what would you pick?
hmmmmm idk. i don’t think much about tattoos. but something skyrim related? since it’s,, my Life. or dalish symbol from da, bow with the leafy branch. OR the outsider’s mark from dh but that would be too,, obvious maybe. i would get a tattoo that could vaguely be related to a vidya gaem but also something that would look completely normal. i’m not some dweeb. i don’t want people recognizing it and thinking i’m their friend or smthin.
42. Maybe it wasn’t your first game, but what was the game that started you on your path to nerdiness?
yea well definitely skyrim. and that was still like,, years later when i started noticing that video games are a Thing and that there are More. sounds ridiculous and like i lived in a cave but yea honestly. maybe i did. what do you know. i never really cared but yea some time after i got into skyrim i started noticing other games like da on the internet and stuff so.. it went downhill from there
48. How long does it take your to customize your player character?
man like :( so many hours. it’s horrible. you’d think that after making kaz for the 28th time it would take me less time but no i’m convinced it takes me more and more time every time i make him. or any other character. idk. i’m picky. i pay too much attention to details. and i’m obsessed with making my ocs look Unique and Perfect.
69. In your opinion, best game ever made?
skyrim. i cannot be unbiased or objective here i just love the game too much and i’m unable to criticize it or inspect it objectively and to me…….. yea it is the best game. like it Might have flaws. but overall. it is a one of a kind game and i wish more games were like skyrim. it’s so.. popular to make hard games. why. why can’t anything be simple and comfe anymore. why do i have to fight everyone for 15 minutes. why are stats everywhere. What for. skyrim is just………. perfect. like i have nothing else to say bro.
but also. honorable mention. i have to say dao. it is a really good fucking game. it’s fantasy, it’s cool, you can make a character, you have many mean options and options to kill people, you are mute, there is magic and elves and dragons (like. two. if we count flemeth. but Anyways). it’s a good game.
also lemme mention one more game lmao i know the question was about one game BUT. morrowind. it’s a Really good game. graphics aside because it’s old obviously but also… because despite being old and having goofy graphics they still managed to make such a unique world that feels… alive. it feels like it was made with love. the attention to detail… how comfy it is….. the STORYYYY…..

Day 20: Rival
Day 20 of @oc-growth-and-development OCtober. This is a day late but yesterday I was bogged down with homework that I had to finish. Thanks to my wonderful wife, @nightsminx for editing this.
___________________________________________________________
Charlya had never really expected anyone would be able to rival her … not since she had defeated Alduin. After all, who could match against the might of the oldest dragon? Besides, there were few mortals who could stand against her vampiric might--add in the powers of Dovahkiin--and who could ever hope to challenge her now? Not that it ever stopped the foolish who claimed that a filthy Dunmer such as herself could never be the Dragonborn. Those idiots she merely knocked unconscious, and if they still dared to challenge her claim after that … that was their problem.
Not that she had ever truly cared about what people thought about her … not really. She didn’t openly display her vampiric urges more out of self-preservation than anything else. Not that it mattered so much any more. It was basically an open secret, with the citizens of Whiterun - they never talked or mentioned it, but they all knew. To the citizens of Whiterun, it was enough that she was Thane and had saved the city several times over. Sometimes she felt a little bit of hope that other mortals could so easily look past such things. Of course, then she encountered the Stormcloaks again and she lost all of that faith.
“Give up, Ulfric,” Charlya spat at the rebellion’s leader. “You’ve lost.”
If Charlya could ever have a rival … she supposed it would have been Ulfric Stormcloak. Besides the Greybeards and herself, he was the only mortal who could call upon the Thu’um. Yet he had not mastered it like she had. Throughout her travels, Charlya had learned dozens of Dragon Shouts … and she had only ever seen him use one. Not that her first and only other encounter with Ulfric had been in the heat of battle, but from what she had observed, he had not taken the time to search for other Dragon Shouts. He was - after all - far too obsessed with winning the Civil War that he started, and freeing the Nords from the tyranny of the Thalmor.
“Skyrim belongs to the Nords, and I will never surrender to one such as you!” Ulfric challenged back. And that was why she could never side with the Stormcloak Rebellion. They only cared about their fellow Nords ... they couldn’t care less about the Dunmer, about the Khajit, about the Argonians.
“Then let us end this, Ulfric,” Charlya replied, drawing her Nightingale blade.
Ulfric charged first, his waraxe raised high, and he brought it down upon her. Charlya could have easily blocked it, she could have called upon her magick, she could have unleashed her Thu’um, instead she spun away from his attack. This wasn’t about ending the Rebellion as quickly as possible - not anymore. Besides, Ulfric was the only one left, the rest of his forces were either scattered or dead. This was about proving a point to Ulfric, that it was useless to continue, that it had always been useless.
Charlya couldn’t deny that a small part of her was enjoying drawing this out. The dragon’s blood which coursed through her veins, and her dragon’s soul, relished the battle. It roared from the deepest parts of her soul to prove that she was strongest. To find and challenge all those who would dare rival her and end them all. After all the pain and suffering Ulfric caused with his pointless war, Charlya couldn’t find it within herself to fight against the urge. It was a rare thing for her to give into the vampiric bloodlust, yet she gave into it gladly.
Charlya spun away from his most recent attack, using her own momentum to kick his waraxe from his grasp. In an instant she called upon her Thu’um, “Fus … Ro Da!” The sheer force of the Dragon Shout barreled into Ulfric, sending him flying into a wall. His broken body slid down the wall, and Charlya loomed over him.
“Give me an honorable death, Dragonborn,.” Ulfric pleaded.
Charlya debated allowing him that small honor … and then she remembered the poverty that the Dunmer living in Windhelm … then she remembered that the Argonians were not allowed into the city proper … she remembered all the needless deaths throughout the civil war. Ulfric did not deserve an honorable death, he deserved to suffer for all eternity.
Charlya grabbed him by the throat, and sank her fangs into his neck. It was a simple matter to trap his soul within a black soul gem. She threw the lifeless husk once she had drained it of all blood, turning and striding away. Her dragon soul roared deep within her, knowing there were few who could rival her.

Meri and Marcurio
I’ve been hyperfocused on Tamrela and Lucien for a while (mainly because 1) I just got Oblivion, and 2) I’m a huge romantic sap and that’s the only pair I ship in anything), and I decided the best way to kick myself back onto the Skyrim track would be to talk about these dorks. I kinda wanted to talk about them anyway - I have thoughts to share. This post is super long, sorry, I had a lot to say.
First off, Meri and Marcurio are not the next Tamrela and Lucien - they do not, and never will, have a romantic relationship. If anything, they’re more like Tamrela and Martin. There are several reasons that Meri and Marcurio will never have a romantic relationship, including but not limited to:
The already-present age gap (Meri being developmentally ~14, while I headcanon Marcurio as ~25) is only going to get wider as time passes; for every “year” that Meri ages, ~13.5 chronological years pass on Nirn.
Meri isn’t a mortal (despite the whole weird thing where she’s technically 100% mortal and 100% Daedric at the same time), and her mindset reflects that. While Tamrela’s time as a mortal can pull and influence her actions and opinions as Sheogorath, Meri doesn’t have that safety net to fall back on - she will always be more prone to react like a Daedra. This makes any sort of romance with a mortal extremely ill-advised.
Meri has a very negative view of romance (and especially marriage), due to watching her mother suffer Lucien’s loss for two hundred years (discussed in-depth in this post). If she thought there was even a chance she might fall in love with anyone (but especially a mortal), she would immediately cut them out of her life - as much as it would kill her to lose Marcurio, she would do it. (Yes, it’s incredibly hypocritical of her to try to prevent one type of love when she’s just as vulnerable to hurt and loss through her obsession with family and her love for her friends, but the trauma that warned her away was based on romantic love, and she’s a still a child - she hasn’t quite made that connection yet.)
Meri’s friendship with Marcurio is a cornerstone of her understanding of interpersonal relationships, and if that relationship were to change it would destabilize the entire web. Remember, Marcurio was her first friend - her entire concept of friendship is based on her relationship with him.
But I didn’t write this post just to talk about how they’ll never be a couple - I had a few points I wanted to make. With the romance element thoroughly addressed, let’s move to my second point: why Marcurio is frightened of Meri’s friendship.
And make no mistake - it’s subtly written (maybe so subtle it’s impossible to find), but Marcurio is terrified of Meri’s affection for him. In a few of Meri’s journal entries, there are lines like “ … I think Sparky is scared of me now. I don’t like it.” and “he’s been… kind of skittish around me since the Shimmermist disaster”, which point towards Marcurio’s fear of Meri, if not pinpoint her affection as the cause. That detail comes from his interview, where he says “... I have no issue with it [dying]. I am afraid of the number of things Meri would kill before she calmed down, though” (#7). And his fear is immediately validated when Meri replies with a snort and the line “Forget calming down, Sparky; if you actually died at this point, I think I would just tear Nirn in half and be done with it.” She flat out tells him that his death will be the direct cause of the end of the world, at the hands of its savior no less. She hasn’t said it, but he definitely understands that the main reason she started dealing with Alduin at all was for his sake. He was the first thing that convinced her Nirn might be worth saving, and that’s a terrifying reality.
Now, the Shimmermist Disaster, which both of the above quotes from Meri’s journal refer to (thoroughly described in the source post of the first quote), was an event right after Lydia joined the party; Marcurio was captured by bandits and taken to Shimmermist Cave, where they were immediately attacked by the Falmer living there and the bandits were killed. (Technically, this was my explanation for Marcurio glitching out and disappearing for a while.) Meri is absolutely furious, and when she sees that Marcurio has been hurt, she completely loses it and flies into a rage, killing everything in the entire cave without so much as acknowledging a wound she receives. This is how she describes it in her journal:
I completely lost it, Mama. I don’t even clearly remember what happened after that, I was just so angry. He’s mine, how dare they take him, how dare they touch him, how dare they almost take him away from me forever! I killed them all. The bandits were already dead, like I said, but all the Falmer, all the Chaurus, the spiders, even a Dwarven Centurion. Anything that might have possibly been responsible for a single mark on him. Every living thing in that cave that wasn’t me and wasn’t him. I didn’t feel a single wound I got in the whole mad rush. I didn’t think until they were all dead.
She’s so possessive of him that she slaughtered dozens of Falmer, half a dozen Chaurus, four or five Frostbite Spiders, and a Dwarven Centurion because they hurt him - he almost died, but she would have reacted the same way to a broken arm or a stab wound or a few scrapes and bruises - maybe even just because they took him from her. And make no mistake, possessive is the right word at this point. Remember, she grew up in the Shivering Isles, as the daughter of Sheogorath no less. To love something was to own it, to be protective was to be possessive. Her murderous rampage would have been seen as proof of her love, not a cause for concern. It’s not a healthy mindset, but it’s where she’s coming from.
Even as she begins to shift towards a mortal understanding of friendship, thanks to Marcurio’s less-than-positive reaction to her murder spree, the intensity of her devotion does not fade. This relationship calls to mind a few passages from various chapters of “Finishing the Hat” by @theoriginalcarnivorousmuffin - actually, these lines are what finally kicked me into writing this post. (My references will point to the AO3 version for my own sanity).
“Love… It isn’t like what they say, Obito, not for me, and likely not for you either,” Lee said finally and in her eyes, he could see an inhuman something, the god, peering through her face as if it was nothing more than a mask, “It is a powerful, haunting, and terrifying thing at its heart. There is nothing I would not do for Namikaze Minato, and that… That says more than enough.” (Chapter 10)
“Minato, deep down, I think he is afraid of the level of… devotion I have for him,” she was staring out the window, her face turned from his but he could imagine the pensive and serious look on her face as she spoke, “This is fair, I love him as a god would, I remade a world in his image, and that’s an intimidating thing. I’ve told you this before but you… You loved Rin the same way, faced the same reaction from her, but then yesterday and the day before that… Somewhere along the way you must have started to feel that way about me, and I knew you had never flinched over everything I’ve done for you or anything I would do.” (Chapter 11)
Eru Lee, the three-AUs-deep central character of this universe, is Death - an exquisitely other, inhuman being that is nonetheless trying to be human. Despite her best efforts, her otherness shines through; she is an impossible girl, and because of her vast power her love is a dangerous, terrifying thing.
Meri is much the same way, though she is generally less disruptive to reality. While there is mortal in her, she is at her core a Daedric Prince - though she’s still developing her sphere, she is specifically the Prince of Devotion, Family, Youth, and the Crushing Deep. While the last three are a bit irrelevant here, I hope you can see the importance of the first. Like Lee, Meri is something greater than human living among mortals, and even once her love loses its possessive undertones the depth of it is enough to surpass mortal understanding - and that’s a terrifying reality to face.
Now that I’ve thoroughly discussed the friendship aspect of Meri and Marcurio’s relationship (I swear that was not supposed to be that long), let’s talk about the “minion” aspect. In her journal, Meri’s first nickname for Marcurio is Minion, because that’s what she sees him as - a hired minion whose only job is to keep her company because she doesn’t like to be on her own. This name only shifts to the more-familiar Sparky when they got caught up in their first serious battle and he hit her with chain lightning just as often as the enemy.
Even as they become friends, Meri still considers Marcurio her minion first - her most favored minion, to be sure, but still a minion. Which, let’s be honest; she paid him to come with her, and she has yet to see any indication that her wallet isn’t the entire reason he’s still following her around. By the time she comes out of the Forgotten City, he’s pretty much committed to following her around, minimizing the trouble she gets into, and translating Meri-to-Normal People and Normal People-to-Meri because he likes her company and he’s starting to see that she’s a good kid from a different culture; the problem is that Meri is completely incapable of recognizing that - she’s not good at understanding people, thanks to her background, so unless Marcurio literally tells her he’s not just staying for the money, or she runs out of gold and he doesn’t leave, she’s going to think he’s just a minion following her for the gold.
(Oh look, a short section. It’s about time.)
The last section I want to talk about in this post (I know, more) is far, far down the timeline from anything that exists on this blog right now. About a century after the Last Dragonborn saved Nirn from Alduin the World Eater, right after Marcurio’s death. At this point, they are very, very good friends - they have been best friends for almost a century, and Marcurio is not about to abandon her now, even unintentionally. Instead, he becomes the first mortal - deceased or otherwise - to inhabit Meri’s plane of Oblivion, the Abyssal Caverns. From that point on, he (and his descendants) remain as the historians and most faithful followers of the Lady of Change.
In the Abyssal Caverns, Marcurio fills a role somewhat similar to Haskill’s job in the Shivering Isles. He basically makes sure the place runs smoothly and tries to patch up anything that Meri breaks - although considering Meri’s status as the Lady of Change, it’s less about “put things back how they were” and more “take this non-functional thing and make it functional again”.
Okay! I think that’s all I wanted to say! Sorry the post is so stupidly long, I didn’t realize I had so much I wanted to say.

Yugioh S1 Ep 43: Mokuba Simply Has No Survival Instincts
While it surely wasn’t intentional, since the 00′s hadn’t finished their course at the time this show aired, the storyline of Kaiba, the moodiest millennial of them all, the boy who works his ass off, wins every award, studies hard, and then fails at every aspect of his life when he actually goes out to try and get his career on track is just so very millennial. It’s a pretty familiar story--trained to be a shark in a small swimming pool, dreams as big and high as the moon, but occasionally completely disconnected with what’s going on around us because we’re trapped in some MMO videogame. Again.
Tumblr media
We’ve already had quite a few episodes that dove into Yugi’s psyche, including one where we literally walked through his labyrinth brain full of traps and real legit problems as he said “nonono this is all really just fine.” But, this is an arc that’s all about Kaiba, who is about to be devoured by the same insane pipe dream ideas he worked so hard to create.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Mai and Joey suddenly realize who the other is and then just decide “youknow lets not duel” and I praised the sun because how pointless would that have been?
The Mokuba orange text is very close to the Joey yellow. Sorry if any of you are colorblind, I never realized that Mokuba would have so many speaking lines when I started this. Maybe I’ll make him a light blue at some point?
Tumblr media
I know I titled it as Mokuba has no survival instincts but honestly it’s every single person on this show.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I only say I’m too afraid to check the skyrim mod forums because most those mods are a little too kinky for me.
Tumblr media
Like...
Why didn’t Bakura use THAT card back on the island? Holy cow. It’s a good thing Joey isn’t cursed with the ring because everyone would be very super dead.
So they trot along across the desert and not much happens. I guess a sand worm or something? It’s just a desert.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And like do I even need to make the obvious joke or is it already--
Tumblr media
No, not yet.
Anyways, what’s at the other end of the desert, hm?
Tumblr media
We are SO CLOSE to finishing this season how is there ANOTHER MAZE!? There’s only like 6 episodes left we could have been maze free I just...whoever was in charge of maze design for this show worked overtime.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
God bless, storyboarder. This is a frame I caught completely by accident--most people would not be able to notice that Joey just takes two hands--one on Yugi’s head, the other on his chest and just pushes him completely over like he’s one of those roly-poly toys.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The hell Mai? She is the age to date Joey’s Dad.
This labyrinth is different than Yugi’s, in that it is crowded by a bunch of huge inconvenient tanks that all want to kill them for some reason. I have no idea how any of these tanks ever turn a corner.
Mazes seem to be the most boodthirsty thing in this universe--can’t pass through a maze without every law of physics/tanks wanting to murder the hell out of you
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Imagine the David Attenborough documentary on this family of wild tanks.
And then this weird thing happened--as if we weren’t already seeing the weirdest collection of things that Kaiba chose to focus on in this magical world where he could have made anything else happen.
Tumblr media
It’s Marie Antoinette Mokuba. She’s just here. To exist.
Tumblr media
Speaking of bad ideas, Kaiba is getting crucified.
Tumblr media
Every anime ever made just acting out the Passion for kicks and giggles, it ain’t even Easter yet.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
So quick side story about bad ideas and stuff, because sometimes we spend YEARS of our lives trying to make something that is not very good work and it just doesn’t--it just doesn’t happen. I work in freelance so I see that a lot. I see it happen to other people, I’ve seen it happen PLENTY to myself.
I knew this guy, I’ve known him my whole life (and he’s way super old so he won’t read this blog) and for the entirety that I’ve been alive he’s been trying to make an operating system to compete with Windows. Now I’m from the Bay Area, so this isn’t SO weird. There’s this whole crazy world outside of Linux where everyone and their mule is making an OS that will change the Silicon Valley landscape and make them the next Bill Gates. It’s kind of like “here’s my neat app idea” but like 2 steps more ascended.
For about 40 years, this guy has *and still is* making this OS. 40 years. But his OS is now like 40 years behind the times because he never released it in any form because it wasn’t done yet, it wasn’t perfect, it wasn’t ready.
One of the most important things I’ve ever learned is that whatever you may be working on right now will not be your Magnum Opus. It just won’t. So finish whatever you’re on and move on to the next thing. When I was told this, I was working on my first comic and although I wasn’t really aware--it was hella not great. But, it was a story I grew up writing, so I was hella attached to it. So, it could never be perfect. It mattered so much to me to get it right, and I was so worried about what other people would think, that I worked on it for about 4 years before I ran into the OS guy and I realized “I need to just post this and move on or this will be my endless OS”
Like, this is all a silly story of climbing through Kaiba’s bad fiction, but sometimes our simple ideas can turn into parasites, and we become so obsessed with them, that our good efforts are robbed of ever getting a chance to finish something good. Like this is Kaiba’s one big huge sprawling terrible video game idea and all of his friends and his brother are here to basically give him an intervention. Also to save him from the guys who are still heading Kaiba corp for some reason.
Anyways, now these guys are in a generic carriage because they got to the Camelot section of Kaiba’s cyberworld because this boy could not focus on one single genre.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Whatever because inside this castle is DINNER
Tumblr media
The vague orange oblong fruit is back! The gravity melons! We still aren’t sure what they are--because they could be mangoes but they’re orange like oranges. huh...
Anyways, it’s about time for this show to get dark.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
So this is a game mechanic of playing the card game Yugioh--so like...it actually does make sense why it’s here but like. This is just medieval The Lottery, huh? Is Kaiba getting ritually sacrificed by his own video game? Ritually sacrificed WHILE getting crucified? For a DRAGON? It’s like right in front of him that his Dragon Obsession has maybe gone too far but I assume that once this is over he’ll be right back on ship dragon.
Tumblr media
I just like to think that, for the past few years, Kaiba’s just been drawing birds and medieval stuff in class and being all “it’s going in my sweet ass video game, Joey, it’s not a princess, it’s Princess Atena, and she’s gonna get sacrificed to satisfy the Mythic Dragon” but none of his classmates ever remembered any of this lore because their brains kept getting wiped by some Season Zero Pharaoh nonsense.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
This color scheme on the walls is just...that’s lime green and lilac all right.
Anyway, how generic 90′s fantasy anime can we make the armor here?
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
None of them use swords.
Scratch that--Pharaoh would know how to use a sword. For the rest of them the weapon seems kind of moot because they’re all card wizards?
Tumblr media
So off they go, Joey in a minidress made for...breastfeeding? I guess? And the rest in matching armor suits. Seems like Kaiba’s game is programmed to recognize and harass Joey just as part of it’s core code.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
OH.
So there was a lot of buildup to that happening and I blinked and missed it and had to rewind, it happened so quickly.
Man if they had just stayed indoors none of this would have happened.

So Mokuba is in a 7 layer ballgown for the rest of this show right? I feel like the hoop skirt would make it very difficult to get crucified in. So, at least he has that.

As they bring this ancient bird to life with the time card, we get to see what Tristan and Tea have been up to--mostly just pushing stuff.

So when Tea does ballet she’s on the bottom just tossing everyone else around, right? That girl is jacked.
So, that was a lot of random things in succession--Next week, on Yugioh:
Does Kaiba turn into a dragon, finally, like he’s always wanted? Will the next environment in this randomized video game land them right in the middle of a Fallout Post-Apocalypse? Or will it be in the middle of a Petz kitten-adoption center? Or, will it be the ultimate challenge for these kids--in a Japanese High School visual novel sim where they actually have to attend class?

Note
You got to my ask box before I got to yours! Gimme: 9,11, 21, 22, 23, 28, 34, 40! (please and pretty)
-snaps fingers at you- Haha! And of course I’ll answer them.
9. Which deity/deities would you worship?
Hmm, touch choices. There are so many since I started digging around the Elder Scrolls lore. Y’ffre is a fun one cause I’m on a Bosmer kick but if it were personally me I’d probably would go with Kynareth.
11. Favorite Daedric Prince
ANOTHER HARD QUESTION. Dang, I have like 3 of them I like. Azura and Nocturne right off the bat and Sanguine cause who doesn’t like the Daedric Prince of revelry and debauchery? But probably top fave would be Azura.
21: Favorite main quest
As much as I play Skyrim, Oblivion’s main quest line was a lot of fun despite me never finishing it (I know how it ends). You’re just this random person in the wrong cell at the right time and you go off and face destiny and all the horrors it comes with.
22: Favorite side quest
Skyrim’s Dark Brotherhood questline, hands down. My favorite side quest line of all time. You’re all dark and horrible murderers going around plaguing Skyrim but you’re dark, horrible murderers with a family and damn if I didn’t feel pissed off when I came home to them burning.
23: Most frustrating experience in a TES game
Climbing up a mountain and finally discovering that one cave you needed to go to and then getting one-shotted by a draugr or a dragon off of it and dying. And not having the auto-save there to put you up there. And you have to do it 3 times before you remember to quick save it before falling off the mountain again.
The second was trying to keep all nine original Knights of the Nine back in Oblivion on the ps3. It was more annoying than frustrating but that’s the only one that could compare to constantly reloading saves to do the thing right.
28: Least favorite character
I was thinking that I didn’t have any characters I liked but then I remembered Delphine!
As much as I understand her plight and her struggles as a hidden Blade hiding from Thalmor for a large portion of her life, she did next to nothing for the Dragonborn. Never believes you’re the Dragonborn until you kill a dragon by yourself in front of her, drags you around to an embassy and nearly gets you killed in there, appears out of nowhere for that civil war negotiation and asks you to kill the one cool dragon in the game that isn’t hostile and actively helping you towards your quest.
No thanks Delphine, you can keep your Blades and I’ll hang out with Paarthurnax on party mountain.
34: Which type of magic would you most like using?
I would like to say Destruction, but Illusion spells are pretty nifty. So either one of those two.
40: Character you'd most like to hang out with
A snarky, sassy Dunmer named Teldryn Sero on the island of Solstheim. Have to admit, I didn’t think much of him until I caught him being described in a few fanfics I read. Then I went and picked him up and realized he was a pretty cool guy. Then got some mods to expand his story and now I’m mildly obsessed with him :p
