Just my personal experience but 'qpr bad' isn't a fake argument, I have seen quite a few people with that opinion. People say that it implies that friendships can't be that close or some shit. Idk if I misinterpreted your post. But you seemed to think that this isn't a real opinion people have and that it's like a strawman. Not so! I agree with you about some people thinking that qprs are more special than friendships and like higher up on the relationship hierarchy and stuff. Have a good day

I think you are misinterpreting my post because my post is about people getting upset over genuine critique of how QPR is being used within aro spaces and labeling it as just "they hate QPRS" or "QPR bad" which is a fake argument that no one is saying when genuinely critiquing these parts of aro spaces.

I'm not oblivious to parts of the aro community who are hostile and treat other parts like shit. I'm very much aware of some aro people who shit on QPRs and label them all as bad. my post is not about them. I shouldn't have to add a disclaimer to my post saying "yes i know there are shitty aros who believe this" when my post is not about those people. It's smething i didn't want people to latch onto and detract from my main point, which always happens when i do add disclaimers - it just turns into a "yeah [x ppl from disclaimer] are the WORST!!!" instead of focusing on the actual point of my post.
