Quick ramble, but I've been having a lot of fun using this comic series to express my love for traditional pen-and-ink comics (which I'm a huge nerd for). This one has the obvious Peanuts reference, but I also referenced Calvin & Hobbes expressions for the face-palm.

The previous Applegate family comic was also a tribute to Prince Valiant. I'd love to do an homage to Little Nemo in Slumberland starring Luna as well.

Anyways, I'd recommend reading this page with some seasonal Peanuts music, as I did while drawing it. Here are some favorites:
