#personal#neurodiversity#like. i think i'm probably better at customer service than i was at my office job#because i felt more pressure to appear as well-adjusted and responsible and like. proper or something#whereas with customer service i only really care about offering a pleasant experience and helping if people are having a hard time w stuff#and i'm like. sure there's rude people occasionally but i've been masking my whole life and i Care so i'll deal#my personal challenge is making a rude/unhappy customer leave in a better mood#i am still putting up my Blasé Persona definitely and i can feel it's an act the whole time#but it's easier. than putting on my Responsible And Serious Adult Persona which i haven't had much experience with#in a way i feel like customer service is a bit a of a safe space for me oddly enough. i've been working customer service my whole life#trying to make people stomach and buy Me as a person
