God Yoshihiro Togashi’s work always fucking KILLS IT (I’ve only read/watched YuYu Hakusho and Hunter x Hunter but I’m already convinced he’s a genius)
#man actually has like a good worldview too#usually every time I find a manga artist I really admire#I find out their a raging bigot before I even get to check out their other work#BUT ITS THE OPPOSITE SCENARIO HERE BAYBEEEE#literally hxh volumes take up like a HUGE portion on my shelf#this man is one of my biggest inspirations when it comes to storytelling I’m not joking#excuse my gushing but DAMN#my passion for both hxh and yyh has stayed at exactly the same level that it was in during middle school#and middle school me was INTENSE#the only reason I don’t talk about hxh more on here is because there’s just too much for me to cover#opinion#anyways I’m rambling because I finally got my hands#on a physical copy of the first yyh manga volume#the authors notes are hilarious help#will finding any volume past 1 be actually impossible? yes.#but I at least want to get a copy with Kurama in it for middle school me#preferably his introduction or that one really cool part where they’re in some strange#like surreal building and he does a bunch of math and Japanese language shit to kick some guys ass#idk it’s been a while since I’ve watched that one specific episode ok but it was cool as FUCK#I just used the wrong ‘their’ like multiple times but please excuse me it’s like midnight rn#yyh#hxh
