Every June, I exclusively make and post new Dorzma art, mainly to spread awareness of what I consider to be one of the oldest LGBT pairings in fandom circles (and one that many should remember in this day and age). This one is Ozma and Dorothy doing a tango of sorts with an LGBT heart as the background.

It was based on this pose provided by @adorkastock

I initially planned to do the whole body... but I find the legs to be too excessive to the whole picture, especially when the hands are in a very unique and difficult pose to draw. I decided to cut the legs and focus on the hands, which was tricky since they are clasping in a manner that is very complex in design, yet also beautiful in overall simplicity. I like how they turned out.

You might also notice that Ozma doesn't have her tall crown in this picture. Well, that's because I wanted Ozma to eventually be animatable, and thus I need to experiment to see if Ozma's design would work without a crown (she still keeps the headdress with flowers). It looks nice overall in my opinion.

I still plan to make more of Dorzma in the future. This is me getting back into the grove.

Yes! For starters she is actually shared OC! I’ve said this before but she’s shared between me and @spjs ! She first appeared briefly in Lost Opportunity and I absolutely fell in LOVE with her and JDs relationship like I legit could not see him without her in my mind SOOOO I uh… kidnapped her

She first appears in one of my works in this comic and then my fic Not the Only One !

For a throwback here’s the pic I’ve ever drawn of her!

You can see how much she has changed and my arts developed XD I’m still using my funky pen tho hehehe

Some facts for the Jade you see in N2 au

She is the oldest of two siblings

She has partial iridescence in her hair

She and JD dated in high school

She hadn’t learned to cook until having a child (her parents wouldn’t let her near the stove)

She learned how to support herself and be independent through trial and error (self made woman)

She is very into wood carving and has made most of her own cutlery and dish ware

She also makes her own clothes, and has a knack for cross stitch

Unlike her son, she has no known allergies (Lief is allergic to stout berries)

She fights hard for what she wants but occasionally needs a push to start the fight

She both has a need to be in control of every situation but hates controlling people which occasionally leads to action paralysis

She has a deep love for her music and nature

Her favorite colors are pink and mermaid green and comprise most of her normal wardrobe (unless I’m playing dress up doll with her hehehehe)

Her voice claim for me is Penelope (Anna Lea) from Epic

I said she’s the oldest of 2 because she has a younger brother named Jasper! He was part of the group cut off during the last trolls time so Jade thinks he’s dead (and blames herself for it)

This is what he looks like! He’s a fully iridescent troll which means his colors shift in the light, he was favored by their parents because of it but hated both the attention and the way they treated Jade. Jade and him were very close and despite her objections he fully supported her moving out even if it meant leaving him behind. (He also lost an arm during the last trollstice so ye hehehehe)

Jade is a part of a few aus there's the main au linked above, a wip au called Jadepunzel ATM,

there's a DND au which I haven't spoken about at length yet but have a few drawings and lore some of which will be cross posted ambiguously on my main blog cuz it's only semi related

and then the Explorer au which has a few posts already!

🎅🏼❣️❣️…Alright~! =OwO=✨One of my most favourite and magical times of the year, is here once again!😃✨☃️🎄I know it’s been quite another year for a lot of us, but I am still willing to spread some delightful festive cheer as always, especially with my special annual Christmas piece~!✏️💝😊

This year, I wished to draw my beloved one and only Cooper and I/my trollsona during a holiday masquerade ball, which I can really see myself suggesting to Poppy when planning and she TOTALLY getting on board with the idea, excitement filling us both!🤩💡🤩 The masquerade ball idea was actually inspired by an underrated classic TV special from 1986, called 'A Mirthworm Masquerade', which I used to watch at a friend's house when I was around seven or eight >w< You can even watch the special here in the link below (Thank-you, YouTube! :3)👇🏻

I drew Cooper and I in one of my favourite scenes from the special, where I am chosen and crowned Queen of the Holiday Masquerade Ball, sitting upon a gorgeous ice crystal throne, with my very own beloved king himself by my side~👑💜💗💚🥰 And while dressing Cooper up as an adorable elf, I took the inspiration from the beautiful 8th Gen Pokemon, Frosmoth and dressed myself up as a fluffy yet elegant white butterfly~🤍🦋=^.^= Oooh~ Ovo And looks like we have special guest appearance with us!🌟We had Guy Diamond and Tiny Diamond last year, now we have the iconic and full of surprises...Mr. Dinkles~!😗(Who I drew proudly from memory~😉) And is that mistletoe I spy that he's holding?😯It certainly is!🤭Our fave devious lil' worm making sure everytroll be getting kisses~ >:D Especially me and Cooper, hehe!💕I was planning on smooching my cutie boo, anyways~😚💋

Over all, I am absolutely thrilled and over the moon of how this beautifully festive and heartwarming scene turned out~!🌈💖😍💖🌈I always amaze myself with how each scene for my annual Christmas piece comes out, just how I wanted and how I pictured it to be, with much improvement and this year’s has to be one of my grandest ones yet - just how I imagined it too~💝🥹✨

It's honestly kind of funny to me that catapulting into Kirk/Spock shipping has launched my usual "meh, not into jealousy as a metric of romantic love" shipping tendency out the window and instead I'm genuinely charmed by the extent to which they reflect the same unhealthy seething jealousy.

This is most obvious with Spock, but you'll get McCoy joking about Spock falling in love with a computer (not an android, a stationary computer) and McCoy being A Normal Guy Joking About His Friend Having a Hobby is immediately contrasted with Kirk's barely repressed jealousy (you can all but see him thinking "time to talk another computer to death" while McCoy just laughs at his own joke about it). Kirk gets more and more generally insecure until Spock publicly declares that, while he does like an efficient computer, Kirk is irreplaceable and he doesn't want to serve anyone or anything else, and Kirk looks like he's about to kiss him on the bridge.

(Kirk still talks the computer to death, btw, for plot reasons. But big "Edith Keeler must die" energy.)

I also enjoy Kirk's horror/outrage at Leila Kalomi and her obvious gloating over "taking" Spock from him in the docility sex pollen episode and Kirk's willingness to do or say anything to get Spock back vs Spock bleeding intensity throughout "Requiem for Methuselah" as Kirk falls in love with Rayna, then Spock numbly listening to McCoy's speech about how he can never understand the glories or agonies of romantic love triangles or passionate love before waiting for him to leave and then wiping Rayna from Kirk's mind. Just two bros who are totally normal about each other!
