I have refrained from speculating about what Charlie's secret plot is, partly because I'm waiting to catch up, but mostly because I half suspect it won't make any sense anyway. But now that he's going to be racing in Babe's place I'm wondering if that was his goal? I feel like that's too... simple, boring, but then again there's no guarantee that Pit Babe is actually well-written.

The big question is, is he (and Jeff) working for Tony? I feel like he can't be if he's gonna have any chance of redeeming himself with Babe, but I also have no better ideas. And don't care enough to think that hard about it.

I would not be surprised however if he and Jeff were also escaped Tony's kids. Perhaps this is all a complicated plot to get revenge on Tony. That had the advantage of providing an opening for Babe's forgiveness; my enemy's enemy, etc.

Actually, that is what I think his motivation is, even if I have no idea how invading Babe's life will get him there. Look at that! I've talked myself into having a theory after all.

Or maybe Babe never finds out that Charlie has lied to worm his way into his life, and this is a horror story and not a romance. They lied about it being omegaverse, so perhaps they lied about genre as well.
