Meet the "creator" of the twins

Info dump under cut

His name is Nadel, aka needle in German

He almost always speaks German, the only time he doesn't is when he's talking to a non German speaking individual

He is INSANE, and I mean INSANE INSANE, the evil laughter kinda insane

He has no remorse or the intense pain he inflict upon his test subjects

He has small robotic helper named Getriebe, aka Gears in German

He treats *most* of his test subjects really nicely, giving them rooms, food, tech like computers and TV's, places to cook and exercise, and many more things

He has a LOT of spy cams set up in the tower, so yes he knows everything that's going on (the spay cams are pidgins, bugs, cheese slimes, really just all kinds of stuff)

He's views PizzaHead as childish and a waste of air (he really really doesn't like him)

He likes Pizzano, but only because he views him as a good test subject.....

Liz is his favorite twins out of the two

He can breath under water and on land

He used to be human until he decided to test on himself so he knew just how painfully it is for the subjects

He is asexual and aromantic (aroace)

If ya can't tell, he's German

His voice is just the Medic from tft but really really calm, like if a unsettling way

Panya History - The Future

Last part in my Pidge/Anya history dump! This one is going to be vaguely about them instead of specifically about them because I really don't have plans for their future once they hit a specific milestone, their adventures don't ever stop, but things get a lot more serious <3

Parts: The Past, The Present, The Future (here)

Marriage doesn't exist on Balto, it almost goes against their beliefs. For Baltons, to have experiences is part of the experiment of living and marriage as many races know it, is forever bonding and unbreakable, sometimes even in the face of death. Being practically bound to a person for the rest of one's life doesn't really fit into the ideal image of experimentation that Baltons are so attached to. While long term relationships still exist, it's just out of someone's own volition to stick with their partner instead of having a legally binding document or something related to show that. Pidge and Anya didn't need that to be together, though being raised on Earth for long enough did put some ideas in Anya's head. She was happy where she was and didn't expect Pidge to comprise his own beliefs for her. And he didn't, but he liked the idea of something physical symbolizing his love for her, so he gave her a ring. The ring turned into paperwork, and that turned into a small wedding party to celebrate the union.

The paperwork was mostly precaution for Pidge, if something happened to him on the field, it'd be Anya who would take care of everything important, especially because his family was so far away. He didn't know what would get to him first, a lion switch or being injured on the field again. Turns out it was both. He always knew it was going to happen during a mission, but not exactly how, or where. While watching Larmina, who was on foot, in his lion, he always made sure to learn from her fights to better train her. This one in particular taught him that she needed more practice with feints, before he rushed out to protect her from a blow. He also learned that he needed to step up his training too and got injured from not being able to entirely block the blow. Now Larmina was mad, first she had to be protected, then Pidge got injured because of her mistake? She wasn't going to let it slide, or let their enemy get away. Pidge refused to back out either, but with both of them focusing on not making his injury worse, their target slipped past. With the adrenaline crashing, they saw he was in worse shape than they thought, and Larmina took over green once more before getting him to medical.

Medbay wouldn't let him fly again, not for a while at least, so Larmina was slotted in green in Pidge's place. She was excited, the last time she took over in a lion was a great experience for her, and Pidge never once doubted her abilities. But that didn't mean his fears of losing green were gone. Anya had noticed it got worse over time, but not being a pilot herself left her with little she could do, she was nothing more than a supportive presence. Lance, however, knew the feeling all too well, and Pidge only hesitated for a moment before venting his fear of losing the one thing he's known and trusted in for most of his life. Larmina had heard, and when Lance left after failing to lighten his mood, she thought she knew exactly how to help him. So she grabbed green's key and tossed it back to Pidge. She wasn't ready, she told him, she needed more flight training, more of every training to get to his level. To become someone like him, to really be a pilot. They argued, and then it was settled, Pidge would stay at the castle and Larmina would take over for him full time. They cried, but neither of them would admit it, especially because they still were wary of their new places.

Yet with a similar face in a new space, they still lost one of their own. Everyone on the team watched as Daniel succumbed to a sickness brought on because of haggarium, eventually bedridden and practically motionless. Maybe they hadn't made enough of an effort to show Daniel he was valued, that he was worth the effort they were putting in to essentially keep him alive By the time anyone even thought that, it was too late. He allowed the destruction of so many cities on Arus before Maahox had arrived to collect him, Vince had seen it all. Maahox didn't hide the fact that the haggarium in Daniel was the cause of that, but he made sure not to let Daniel know that was the only reason he was useful, instead telling him he wasn't needed in the force because of the boy right in front of them trying so hard to get Daniel back. That the force only wanted Vince.

The team knew they had to find the final planet that was part of voltron creation, Maahox wasn't hindered anymore, and his creations had gotten worse. But with no map and no name to their holy grail, they had to get help. Luckily, they weren't the only giant mech team out there with the same goal. The explorer had been reinstated after Wade's arrest, with their mission to defend Earth, and when Maahox first attacked, they did their best as vehicle voltron while the force figured out their own problems before joining in as lion voltron. But now their focus was different, going into deep space like the explorer was originally built to do to search for the missing planet And to protect Earth in their stead? A long forgotten project by the GG finally let into the light, now manned by Drule twins and another stoker to really connect it all.

Everything was terrifying for Anya again, but now Pidge could really promise not to leave her side. Especially because if the moment calls for it, they'd be following their team out into space while still inside the castle, together.

The Human

The Nadel family! (Minus little brother Naoki!) The eldest is Gilbert with his wife Annabelle. They keep the peace, and have two young children, Sinclair and Fallon. :3

The second eldest is Aspen and his girlfriend Hazelnut. He’s a fashion designer, but he’s very much a playboy until he met the hot-tempered aspiring fashion designer, Hazel. She doesn’t take any of his crap and it’s hilarious. XD

The second youngest is Shinjiro and his wife Rune. Shinjiro was previously a delinquent and often found himself on the wrong side of the law, but he’s attempting to turn that around with his pregnant yandere wife. She’s expecting in May. :3

And last but not least, Naoki and his girlfriend Winnie (who actually won’t appear in his life until a few years for now, but… meh). Naoki was originally created first, as a happy-go-lucky character, but that changed very quickly. Not on purpose, anyway. His fear of bunnies was, though. I love him dearly. :33

I’m incredibly happy that I made the rest of Naoki’s family. (This was only supposed to be one generation set… but I made an entire family tree. .__. Only these characters, and another set of characters have drawings. The rest are still in writing)

And I am very aware how much information is here… There isn’t much. There’s a lot I’ve left out of this post. Feel free to ask me anything about them or any of my OCs. :3

both of them are in their little civvies— except cosmo’s civvies are just what he wears everyday because man loves purple and i love stars (im legit obsessed) i’ll design something for him later so he’s not just wearing the same shirt over and over each fanart i do of him LMAO

anyway hc time because i love hcs and you should as well

cosmo’s a picky eater, a very picky eater

even though he’s technically the castle’s history teacher he’s terrible with kids especially with teenagers

so when he first meet the cadets and was told he’d be teaching them, you can imagine the panic that went through him once he saw that troublesome trio

he’s a listener, not a talker

only times he actively talks alot is during his rants or whenever he’s teaching

he can tell alot about someone just by their body language and finds it thoroughly entertaining not to participate in conversations but just to sit back and watch

he’s not a people pleaser, he knows his needs and isn’t afraid to say no— he just prefers a more kinder approach to things

his poor eyesight was something he was born with, no tragic backstory, mans just got hella unlucky with genetics

he gets questioned about his scars on his arms alot and his only response is “well they’re apart of me, whether they’re showing or not”

he’s never once told anyone where they’ve came from and never intends to do so

the scars on his face however were from previous accidents while trying to explore the terrain when he was younger

if someone were to genuinely tick him off, his voice would go extremely monotone

he never matches his clothes with anything and often times roams around the castle halls wearing pajamas simply because he can

if he had to drink one thing his entire life, cranberry juice

calls everyone by their government name

regularly zones out alot and often responds to things with “what” even after several repeats

uses filler words alot

eats the ice cubes that comes with drinks but doesn’t actually drink the drink

would never actually tell anyone to shut up but would stare at them for so long that eventually they take the hint

loves flowers but is badly allergic

cherishes all gifts— all gifts.

Some more vf oc thoughts have attacked me today

This takes place during Brains (ep 16) as I still haven't finished the official podcast episode review for it and just listening to them talk is making me want to rant <3

It's a long one again, rant under the cut TLDR: This could've and should've been a development episode for Vince, but instead it was skirted for a vague Halloween episode >:/

Since I'm adding Anya here, there are a few changes to the episode, mainly the way Pidge is reacting to the events happening and also an extra scene Anya is silently reassuring him every time he tells Vince that the Balton's aren't zombies and is part of Vince and Pidge's group after they get separated

During the scene where Pidge uses his smart stars, Pidge takes Vince's comment harder than we see in show Vince has constantly triggered Pidge's PTSD, and then he has the nerve to insult him TWICE* by not believing Pidge knew what he was doing

*The first time happened at the start of the episode when Pidge literally begged the team not to fight the Baltons and them doing so anyway (to protect Pidge and Vince) Vince comments that he'd rather have Lance and Larmina (the most aggressive fighters) protect him than Pidge

After they escape the mall, there's an extra scene where a small group of infected attack them, except this time they're out in the open where Pidge can't pin them down He tries to figure out the best way to immobilize them, and Vince is freaking out, telling Pidge he needs actually fight them this time, making him Big Mad Before Pidge can do anything though, Anya uses her voltcom weapon (strings) to help knock the Baltons out

Now Pidge is mad at her, saying she could've used less force in dealing with them, especially since they're obviously not in their right mind Vince butts in and in not so smart wording tells Pidge that at least Anya did something instead of stand there worried about the wellbeing of their own attackers (not word for word)

This is where shit gets real, Pidge finally snaps and starts yelling at Vince how the entire time he has done nothing but bitch about his fears and stand there criticizing someone who's actually thinking through their fucked up situation instead of bulldozing through innocent people who have no reason to be attacking Voltron* or the team at all

*When they first get to Balto, Keith explicitly states that it's a Voltron friendly planet, which makes their attack and initial stealth mode super weird

Pidge doesn't get to threaten Vince for his cowardice before Anya yanks him back by the arm, threatening Pidge instead that she'd become a bigger threat to their mission than their brainwashed race currently are if he even thinks about finishing his sentence

He glares at her before stalking off near a light post where the two can still see him Vince is obviously stunned from getting verbally torn apart by his hero and tries apologizing to Anya before she stops him This next part is going to be dialogue (and some action) just because it's easier for me to type out lol

"I'm so sor-" "Vince," Anya cuts in, "do you know why the force takes you cadets out on missions?" "For first-hand experience?" "And to teach you guys lessons, yes. Right now, Pidge isn't in it to teach you one. Luckily for you, you've got a survivor to do it instead."

She looks over to Pidge, who's less tense but has curled into himself some as he keeps glancing at the unconscious Baltons nearby

"How much do you know about Balto?" "Well... It's one of the planets that stayed loyal to Voltron after Wade. It's your home, it's Pidge and his twin brother's home. You guys grew-"

He stops abruptly, realizing a crucial mistake in his statement,

"This isn't the real Balto. You guys watched it explode.. He watched it explode. The surviving Baltons built this metal planet in spite of what happened."

Anya sighed, remembering her own memories of the evacuation and eventually the blinding light her parents couldn't shield her from fast enough as their home was erased without a second thought. She looked back at him,

"Vince I'm not going to tell you Pidge's outburst wasn't your fault, because it absolutely was, but you also didn't mean any harm and that's what I want to talk about"

Vince looks away and almost shrinks in front of her gaze, her pitying and disappointed gaze. He should've shut his mouth when he had the chance.

"No matter where you go or who you talk to, as long as you're on the force you're going to be fighting wars and interacting with victims from all over. You're allowed to be scared, but don't start spiraling, especially if it makes you say stupid shit like you've been saying all day today."

He grimaced, he wasn't that insensitive, was he? No, he definitely was. He literally set off Pidge's PTSD and got burned because he was too busy feeding the fire.

"Voltron may be a weapon for war, don't tell the princess I said that," she adds quickly, "but the pilots instead are diplomats, the more you travel the universe the more you'll see people just like Pidge who will never stop feeling pain even if time heals their wounds."

Checking up on Pidge again, he tried to hide the tired look on his face by rubbing his eyes and messing with his visor, but he'd known she'd caught it.

"One last thing kid, be conscious of what other people have gone through. Pidge gave you multiple warnings earlier, and they were borderline explicitly telling you to back off. Not many will be blunt and list the topics they're sensitive to, they won't talk about it at all."

He nodded, grateful she'd finally stopped lecturing him. He had enough of getting in trouble for today. The only thing to do now was apologize, and hope Pidge would forgive him for being an idiot on the field this entire time.

I'm not going to make Vince the only person with fault here, Pidge didn't have to tear into the kid and basically beat him down for being a coward, but he did.

I added Anya into this bc I want her to be a grounding opinion for the team. Sure, they differ between themselves, but more often than not they all agree on the same course of action. Anya is a way for more outside opinions to get heard, especially because she's watching the fights instead of being in them. She's not the voice of reason, but she's the damage control while the others focus on fighting

I've been playing with my new tablet and it’s blue tooth pen, getting a feel for how it works.  Which style I want to colour in. :3

So far so good! I don’t have the program I want yet because of money, but I will eventually get there! It really tests my patience.

Meet Winnie Harper and Imogen Ruby Ayers. Or should I say, Winnie Nadel and Imogen Astrid? XD These two women are twins, one (Imogen) married to @ghostlycorners OC Yukino with two little girls, and the other is engaged to my precious baby Naoki. :3 Winnie is a engineer mechanic with a quick wit and love for passion, and Imogen is a housewife who loves to garden and take care of her little girls. They both have a little brother named Ivan. The mischievous brat. The universe they're born into is filled with people and creatures with incredible abilities. Some places it's very natural to have them, other places it's considered witchcraft and evil. Most people do not have abilities. Most of this family tree does.
