Why do I feel everything surrounding Carlos is blown out of proportion?? people change jobs, sponsors leave, drivers say things, give interviews, make mistakes on track, crash, change friends and leave their girlfriends and it's normal, or it seems to be normal with everyone except with Carlos. Maybe it happens with other drivers and idk because I don't follow them closely, but with Carlos it seems all it has to have a secret motive, or he has an evil plan. Sometimes things are easier than we think.

I've been thinking about my favorite team lately, because I joined mid-season last year and decided my favorite team pretty much at a random (mclaren, because they were on the rise and because oscar piastri is hot) and this season I'm starting to actually think about it. What is my favorite team? How do you define a favorite team? What do I want from my favorite team? Winning? Epic comebacks? Suffering? Cheering for the midfield? Haas? I genuinely don't know. F1 fandom on tumblr, what criteria do you use when deciding on a favorite team?

Security torx is objectively ridiculous because not only is it a worse version of the absolute best driver standard, but it's not even that secure.

Most sizes can be easily defeated using a small flathead screwdriver (in basically every electronics repair driver kit), and all sizes can be defeated with a centrepunch or drill. AND you can buy the drivers for it, although they're annoying to find.

Overall more of an inconvenience if anything. It's honestly probably MORE accessible to get around for the average person (I know my experiences are not universal, but surely most people have at least 1 flathead screwdriver sitting in a drawer somewhere, even if it's only used a prying tool or something right? Most of my flatheads live out their lives as prying tools and sometimes trim pot adjusters (I only have maybe 2 flathead drivers I'd actually trust with flathead screws anyways))
