i think it crazy how (at least in my area) i see more purebred working dogs in shelters than bully breed mixes nowadays
#obviously theres still a high volume of pitbulls and the like#but the sheer amount of great pyrenees and australian shepherds and cattle dogs and german shepherds and malinois#and HUSKIES! so many#and so so so many doodles and poodles#the shelters around me are all unwanted working dogs and designer dogs#maybe that comes with living in the suburbs and ppl getting these beautiful expensive dogs as status symbols#and then being upset when they dont have a job or their job is to look cute on your couch#my neighbor bought a samoyed puppy and gave it back for having anxiety. then they bought 2 pyrenees puppies#and returned them for messing up their grass#the mindset of people out here is crazy#simon says
