chased up the doctor again today, and my heart monitoring results were normal (in the sense that i don't have a heart flutter or anything) but he suspects POTS and also says to work with the assumption that i have fibromyalgia. i need to have MORE tests for the POTS in the next few weeks but hopefully sooooon my neverending quest to find a diagnosis might be completed!!!!
