#my more genuine take is that the circumstances of da:o are so extraordinary that i really think a lot pf things#about his romance (not just this part) cannot actually be extrapolated into the future of that relationship intact#wait i phrased that really weird.#i dont think that its fair to look at the things that a traumatized 19 year old with sex & romance baggage does#& says in his first relationship in an objectively strange life or death situation#and go yeah these are permanent personality traits. hes going to be exactly like this forever.#this dynamic is not capable of changing in any substantial way#you know.
