WHAT EXPECTATIONS DO YOU HOLD TOWARDS YOUR PLOTTING PARTNER:  i guess just be able to put up with my rambling and stopping and starting, a lot of characterisation choices i do go through various stages and its pretty messy so when i communicate that with others it usually ends up equally messy. just be patient with me please.

WHEN YOU NOTICE THE PLOTTING IS RATHER ONE-SIDED, WHAT DO YOU DO?:  i don’t mind! sometimes ppl have more ideas that they want to share first and i’m always super happy to listen to those ideas !! sometimes its nice to have someone with a clear guide or structure and be able to work around that rather than trying to fumble through a plot together.

HOW DO YOU USUALLY PLOT WITH OTHERS, DO YOU GIVE INPUT OR LEAVE MOST WORK TOWARDS YOUR PARTNER?:  i try to map out some basic info abt their characters that i otherwise don’t know from their bio or verses and try to pick out points of confrontation or similarities to expand on with giselle that can be used as points for like a starter to happen. its either that or sometimes i have really stupid ideas i just toss out there like ‘LMAO THEYRE BREAKING SHIT AT DISNEYLAND’ and go buck wild from there if the other person is down. i also always try to warn people or get a gauge for what subjects to avoid and steer clear of considering that giselle is a bit of a Freak(tm) and will say and do bad things.

WISHLIST, BE IT PLOTS OR SCENARIOS:  OH SO MANY! ive managed to fulfil a lot of my wishlist threads with like, giselle talking to characters she’s already zombified and i love all that angst but i want to do more stupid shit. i want to make it my personal goal to bully every quincy man and woman on sight. although a REAL dream would be if i got to write a thread zombifying a character who managed to escape giselle’s clutches. and more fighting! i want to get better at describing action and fights and i love to write giselle getting beat up and beating people up! more more more!! 

THEMES I WON’T EVER RP / EXPLORE:   hohoho theres a LOT... uh r*pe/dubcon threads for one, even if yeah i know writing it doesnt condone it, it makes me intensely uncomfortable to put my muse in that scenario, i feel like i have an obligation to like, protect her from that shit you know? racism is one i don’t want to transgress, even though i’m a poc, its not really cathartic or groundbreaking to write abt racism in threads its just... really fucking upsetting. also i know the quincy’s have this very close parallel to the whole n*zi imagery and ideology thing going on and i am not about to start even daring to thread that into my writing or bring those allusions and references of real life tragedies into giselle’s threads. i’ve already talked at length abt exploring giselles trans identity in rp and why im not comfortable doing so, so.... yeah! all those i guess.

WHAT TYPE OF STARTERS DO YOU PREFER / DISLIKE, CAN’T WORK WITH?: i like starters where giselle can just immediately get right into being a piece of shit. mise en scene and all that! cut out the build up and just get to the intense horror !! i don’t like starters where its not immediately clear where the characters are standing and what they’re doing and what’s happening around them. those really disorientate me and leave me kinda floundering because i always need some allusion or mention of a setting to ground giselle in a time and place other wise i cant tell what her response should be

im really out here writing this

lets get into this mess

so youre studying right

and you yourself do not have a laptop of your own

bc welcome to being a broke college kid im calling myself out

so you decide that youre gonna go to the library on campus bc sis,, cash in on the tuition money ok

so you go and youre like wow hahahaha i dont have a library card better sign up for one

so you go to the desk and theres no one there

just your luck really

you decide to wander around a little to see if theres anyone who can help you

and low and behold you stumble across someone

this young man knelt down by a shelf with a book rack next to him just humming softly and organizing books

and you catch his attention by clearing your throat slightly

he looks up and his eyes are big over the rims of his wire framed glasses that are clinging to the tip of his round button nose

and his hair is a little mussed from being bent down

but holy hell

youve read enough novels to know that this must be exactly what the characters are talking about when they say things like ‘love at first sight’

“sorry” he says as he standcs and brushes himself off “can i help you with anything?”

starstruck really

you manage to stutter out something about needing to register for a library card and he smiles so kindly it makes u want to melt

“sure!’ he says, motioning for you to follow him back up to the desk

is this what a trance feels like???

he asks you a few basic questions, like your name, your age, and what building your dorm is in so he can put it all on your new nifty library card

and then he turns around this lil webcam on top of his computer and asks you to stand in front of it and smile

and you do, awkwardly

and as hes looking down at the computer counting “3, 2, 1” he has this smile on his face like hes trying to hide it

and if that didnt make ur heart jump you dont know what ever would holy

so he prints off your card as youre still trying to recover from being in the presence of an angel

and he hands it to you and smiles

“library hours are 8 am to 12 am every day, but on the weekends i’m the one that closes. which means if you ever need some extra time to finish that essay you pushed off,,, i wont tell anyone”

the next time you get a chance to run by the library on campus, it just so happens to be sunday

you catch yourself wondering if dream boy meant friday and saturday or saturday and sunday when he said weekends

thats not important right now

what is important is that you have actual business to do in the library today

and that business is to pick up hamlet for your english class

you check in and someone else is at the front desk

you try not to let yourself feel disappointed

i mean you met him once for christs sake

the guy at the front is equally as attractive as dream boy from the previous week, but a little more relaxed to talk to since he isnt giving you any flirty subtones

the kid is all business really

he tells you that his name is doyoung if you need anything else

you ask how he got the job there, out of curiousity

because really, both of the librarians youve encountered seem pretty young for the standard librarian stereotype

doyoung explains that its a work-study job, so nearly all the people that work there are students at the university and work in between classes or on their off days to make some extra cash or pay off some tuition

and you can get behind that!!

so doyoung is cool and you decide you can go to him to ask questions instead

because while dream boy is a dream boy with pretty cheekbones and nice lips and a smooth voice and a good sense of style and a great height without insoles and looks great with glasses and has the most captivating eyes

hes a lil distracting lol

anyway you find yourself in the shakespearean section

and you grab a hamlet off the shelf and head back up to the front to have doyoung check the book out to you

and as hes handing you the book back you get a classroom notification saying that, despite common belief, the book rental wasnt due by tomorrow, but the whole book reading is due by tomorrow

you wonder how the fuck professors get away with shit like this and then you remember that you didnt bother to read the syllabus so you cant really get too mad at anyone but yourself

so you find a table that looks like it has the comfiest chairs and cozy up for a long evening of reading and annotating

(depending on who you are you either love or hate hamlet, either way it is exhausting to annotate anything from that man so bear with me ok)

five hours later and ⅔ of the annotations later it is 11:56pm

and you havent noticed

you hadnt noticed much of anything happening in the real world after you popped in a headphone and started reading about guards seeing a ghost

that is until someone plops down in the seat in front of you and asks

“so what are you studying”

and you look up, a little delayed because youre finishing a notation

only to find that its dream boy

and your brain blanks for a sec bc wow every time you see him its kinda like?? ouch???? my heart bro

so you just kind of shake your head and mutter some “im not really sure anymore”

and theres some truth to that!! first there were ghosts and now theres dead girlfriends dads and dead girlfriends and talking about a skull in a graveyard

that play is really a wild ride brother

and dream boy sits there and laughs, wholesomely

you could die happy

“yeah i get that” he says, rubbing the back of his neck

theres a pause that carries on a bit too long

“wanna hear a dumb joke?” he asks suddenly

you smile then, partially out of exhaustion and partially because wow?? cutie

“sure” you say

“okay. what do you call a nervous javelin thrower?”

you pause for a sec bc wtf

“dunno. what do you call them?”

he flashes this cute fucking grin that you know is supposed to be slick but just comes off as wholesome and says

“shakespeare”

and you shouldve seen that coming wow

and its so dumb that you actually??? giggle????? and that turns into a laugh??

youre probably just exhausted from annotations but maybe that was actually funny

and his smile softens like hes made progress on something

“y/n, right? i dont think i ever actually introduced myself. i’m jaehyun”

he smiles and reaches across the tabe and you take his hand

its warm and strong and you try not to think about it too hard

“well, y/n, library loses here in another two minutes or so.”

he sees the look on your face fall

“but never fear!” he leans forward and lowers his voice

you hold your breath

“i told ya you could stay, didnt i?”

his smile is closed lipped and cute and genuine

before you can say anything hes up and ushering the last few people out of the library, telling them good night and good luck with their classes tomorrow

youre kind of caught in a brain dead daze after finally being pulled from your studying to watching this cute librarian named jaehyun bustle around and lock doors and turn off lights

and when he finally gets back to you he clicks on the lamp on the table youre working at and sets a cup of coffee in front of you

he mustve made it as you were falling asleep with your eyes open

you thank him copiously before asking

“i thought you let everyone stay after hours when you closed”

he looks up over the rim of his mug with a surprised look in his eyes

he shakes his head as swallows the clearly too hot coffee

“not at all. most of the time i kick them out and study by myself.”

he blushes like its a confession and it makes you feel,,,, something

but you dont want to press

so you just reach out and offer your other headphone to him because if you dont know what to say then you can both enjoy some good study music

so he pulls out his homework for the night and the two of you sit there and study

you sip off your coffee occasionally and both of you nod your heads to the music playing in your ears

he hums along to the ones he knows and a thought skips across your mind

you could get used to this

Monsta X Reaction To Sibling Having A Crush On Another Member

Shownu/Hyunwoo

With Hyunwoo it all depends who you have a crush on. He is your overprotective brother but theres a point where he would accept SOME of the members. Hyungwon, Changkyun and Minhyuk would have a chance, but Jooheon Kihyun and Hoseok wouldn’t. NOW to the actual situation, Hyunwoo was just minding his own business, stopping by the house to see how you were doing, when he heard your squeal. Oh yes, he knows that squeal, its the “Im in love Squeal”. Staying quiet Hyunwoo listened in how you talked about how big of a crush you had on this member. He then goes to the living room to let you have your chat, he didnt want to interrupt. When you come out though you nearly have a heart attack, seeing the big bear sitting on your couch eating your pudding. Hyunwoo would wave, not able to talk because of the food. After swallowing the food he kinda just blurts it out. Depending on the member he looks pissed or surprised.

“So..You have a crush on one of the members..”

Wonho/Hoseok

Hoseok would hate the thought of you having a crush on one of the members. IF it actually manages to happen he is going to try to avoid the subject that you and them are dating. He wont go out of his way to stop your relationship though. He will watch it from afar, and if anything is to happen, since we all know how emotional Hoseok can get, he will panic and then start crying because his sisters hurt but he cant hurt them or do anything and everything might be ruined! Thats in his view at least, and may I say its a tad over dramatic. When he found out he was more then a tad over dramatic though. You were hanging around Monsta X a lot more. Bringing lunches for them, watching their practices, even watching them from backstage of interviews. At first Hoseok thought you were just being a supporting nice sister. Then he remembered why type of sister he had. You normally never want him around your friends so you dont go around his. Now-a-days you were definitely close to that member you have a crush on. So Hoseok waits till his driving you alone to ask. When you fess up like I said a bit of a freak out.

“No! No way! That is going to be so weird and awkward! How would you feel if I started to date one of your friends!?”

Minhyuk

Minhyuk is a bit of a wild card but I think I can point his reaction in the right direction. Minhyuk would actually love if you dated Kihyun or Hyungwon. Thats it. Anyone else he wouldnt be too upset but his not going to be happy about. Maybe Jooheon if you stretch it. Minhyuk actually figured it out on his own. When you were drooling over yourself during one of their practices. He would feel a bit awkward, because they were practicing and you were getting eye candy. After setting boundaries, like no drooling over them when his around and if you get together to let him know. If your relationship starts affecting Monsta X and his friendship though his going to cut that relationship right off. Sure that might be a bit much but he isnt going to ruin everything he has. He would give you guys time to sort it out but thats only like a two week thing, again stretching it, so after that yes, no go. 

“Please dont eye up the members while I’m around, do your hopeless crush thing when I’m away!”

Kihyun 

He would be annoyed but he would allow it. Anytime you want to talk about your relationship though he shuts you down. Since its a bit of a tug-a-war match when it comes to that. If you can manage to get him down and ask him things like what YOU are doing wrong in the relationship he will straight up tell you. No going around you it either. Dont worry he will tell plenty of embarrasing stories to your crush also. When Kihyun found out about your cursh it was kind of obvious. Whenever his friends were around suddenly you had a question on your homework and hung around. Especially when your crush was around. One day he invites you to go with them mini golfing, but he had alternative motives. By the end of the day he knew about your crush. When you get home he has mighty black mail as he is sure to let you know his new revelation.

Jooheon

Ha! HAAA! HAHAAHA! You think you’re going to be able to date, let alone one of the members of Monsta X? Jooheon has a strict dating rule, no dating! When he finds out your crush he will do everything to keep you away. If you actually start dating Jooheon will pull you away, kicking and screaming if he must. Hyungwons main concern would be how this will effect his home life and work life. As long as thats untouched its fine. When you start hanging out with that crush a lot more then him he will get jealous. His a bit of an awkward brother so you two dont have the best of relationships. When he sees a relationship blooming between his group mate and you he will feel jealous, he wants to have a good relationship with you also. You were so obvious, it was kinda embarrasing. Hyungwon easily figured it out. Unless it was making the members uncomfortable he wouldnt take you out of the room to give you a talk, after you’re done though with the group and alone with Hyungwon though there are rules. Many rules. Hyungwon wouldnt be too concerned though, assuming you would follow them plus this may hel your and his relationship.

IM/Changkyun

IM is reasonable, that includes with this. If at the moment they are super busy he will tell you no, for now. More like he will tell you wait until everythings slowed down a bit. Hoseok is 50/50 though Changkyun may say no to dating him. Mainly because he doesnt like him. A week of trying to convince Changkyun though and you likely will. He will even want to know whats going on between you two so he could be a mediator and try to keep the relationship thriving. Changkyun actually asked you because your crush asked him. Once he found out he would tell you his thoughts, they will never be a down right no. He might tell you wait for a bit but thats it.

diary of mine

ive decided thta im changing my account name to something diary related because i have no one that actually reads my posts here and im just always ranting, or it seems like it,and i dontuse proper grammar or spelling while on here anyways so why not just treat this like a diary?

so for this entry im going to rant about my job. okay so my dad is the manager and no one knows that hes my dad (step dad= different last names) because family isnt suposed to work together, but his location needed someone who would be dependable and so here i am. ugh theres so much more! i dont even know where to start.

okay so lets start by saying that theres this older guy working here whos not the cutest but hes sweet and nice and weve been kind of like fliting with eachother since i started working here.

second thing to know, my dad sucks. lol not really i love him but he left for two week vaction to mexico and left the store understaffed. by understaffed i mean me and a cookor two at a time, as in i open and close everyday.

the only other help i get is this new girl that im litterally suposed to be training, but shes been here a week and she has learned NOTHING and shes not trying to learn either.

my dad knows this girl from his preivous work of employment and apperantly she was really good back then... over 5 years ago. but now she litterally wants to just stand around and get paid to look pretty. like girl no. she says tht sometime this month or next her husband will come back (immigration issues) and he will provide in full for her so she wont need a job anymore. and its like honestly shes not trying and i know its because she knows that she wont have to worry in a few weeks but for now shes just making my job harder and shes making the company waste money and the company and i waste our time by trying to teach her when shes obviously not interested in learning.

so thats annoying, but another thing is shes really short and my dad is also really short so everyone has a running joke that shes his daughter, i once asked the guy why he wasnt hitting on her and he said that it was because he wouldnt even dare to date the bosses daughter.... i was internally dying of laughter ofcourse and it made it even funnier that the lead cook said the same thing.... but theyre swingers and he told me his wife told him to ask me if i wanted to join

idk... these last two weeks ive been opening to closing and my depression is back because ive only had interaction with customers and since i workin a mney area 90% of my customers are either spoiled, entitled, snobs, rude, or all of the above. ve only had the opportunity to go home to sleep and even though i live with my parents (@ 25 i know im a failure) i havent even had the chance to see them but a few minutes at a time these past two weeks.

i havent had a chance to clean my room, or do laundry or get myshit together for school even though im supposed to start today.

ugh someone take me out? like at this point idc if its on a date or permanently...

1. I just recently following your blog. And I find that we have same opinion for the most part, or from your tags anyway. This by no means that you’d agree with me but can I share my opinion with you. Like I think that so many people have been too critical about his solo works. We really dont know anything. wow i . . got an ask! sorry it took me a while to answer this babe (depending on when u sent it) i dont come on this blog alot, i kinda just made a tumblr as an outlet for my thoughts and frustrations and to have a place to talk about louis lol

anyways i think we do have pretty similar feelings about the way things are going - mostly mine are just summed up by ‘idk what to think but i love louis and his music’ lol 

To be real tho, i’ve been a 1D fan since i was 12, in 2011, and i was a larrie from like 2012 to pretty much a few months ago (not that im an ‘anti’ now or anything, i just dont kno what to think). For most of my time as a 1D fan (and especially a larrie) the culture w/ us has been, for better or worse, to hyper-analyze and doubt (for lack of better words) everything we’re given and told. Tbh, since i changed my perspective a few months ago (mostly bc of solo!harry), ive pretty much just been constantly reevaluating everything ive known for the past 5/6 years and i really just have pretty much NO idea what to think, whatsoever. 

When it comes to solo!louis, ive just been trying to take it as it comes. key word is trying, bc 5/6 years of having a rock-solid idea of the “”truth”” (our ideas about the boys, management, their relationships, etc) is alot to overcome when u try to be objective. 

When u say that ppl have been too critical of louis and his stuff, im not really sure which ppl u mean or if u just mean in general - ive definitely seen some ppl who seem to be critical just for the sake of it, or bc they actually dont like louis, which, ya, thats definitely too critical. But for some of the ppl being critical, it seems like theyre coming from the same place i was before i changed my perspective - if i hadnt been so put-off by solo!harry, i probly would still be just as dedicated to the fandom “”truth”” and i would be critical of solo!louis like i was/we were of everything else. 

Basically, at this point, i think its just habit for alot of ppl to be critical and cynical. Or, even more, its generally more comfortable (especially when weve been telling ourselves for 5+ years that we know the “truth”) to be critical (in an all-knowing way like when ppl say “those stunts are so transparent” or something) than to admit that theres alot we dont kno. Or to admit that louis hasnt had the opportunities we thought he would have/we think he deserves, and theres not really anything to do about it.

Are they right to be critical? I honestly totally dont kno. But basically im done being critical just bc other ppl are - if something strikes me as wrong and worth being critical of, right off the bat, then ill criticize it. But if everything seems ok to me and i have no reservations and i see someone else complaining and making a big deal about it, i guess thats how i decide when someone is being too critical. Thats when it seems to me like theyre being critical just for the sake of it or bc thats what theyre used to. I think its important in our culture (1D fan/louie culture), at least for me in the place im in now, to just trust ur own instinct instead of looking to others to see if things are good or not.

At first i was a little confused by ur ask(s) bc it seems a little contradictory - u talk about how louis didnt get the best opportunities, and then u say ppl are being too critical. But i think i understand (maybe im projecting tho, bc this is how i feel about it). I think what i (and u, if im understanding ur ask rite) am feeling is that ppl want to place blame - we all want the best for louis, and we’re upset that it doesnt seem that he got it. We all love and appreciate louis, so it can be hard to see how other ppl wouldnt and how he wouldnt get all the opportunities we think he deserves. So we go off on his team, simon cowell, his record label, the other boys, etc., and we criticize them and everything louis puts out bc its through them/connected to them. 

But it really all comes down to the fact that regardless of what we think louis deserves, we all know that what he gets probly wont match up to that. Youre rite, he literally said that he didnt get that many opportunities, and we have to accept that. No matter how much we love and admire him, we have to realize that for various reasons the rest of the world doesnt (at least not yet). He wasnt the most famous member of 1D, or the one pushed as the most talented, and the fact that he has a unique voice makes him kindof an acquired taste. 

We have to realize that he is, like u said, doing the best w what hes got. We dont have the power to give him more, so from my perspective im just enjoying what we get and supporting it in every way i possibly can. Bc thats what being a fan is about - enjoying what u get, and supporting it so u continue to get it. We can wish he had more opportunities available, and even ask for what we want from him in polite and lighthearted ways - like tweeting him about his album, or nominating him for awards (like teen choice and stuff), or posting/tweeting about how we wish we had a video/photoshoot/etc as long as its nice and not demanding. But ya basically we are not in a position to give him opportunities so our only job (if we want it, which, being a louie, i do) is to support what he puts out.

I am frustrated, and always have been, that louis doesnt get what the other boys do, but thats just the way it is. We have to accept that there isnt always someone to blame - for various reasons, louis has had less opportunities than the other boys, and theres nothing we can do about it. I would even go as far to say its not necesarily an injustice - like u said, he isnt the other boys, so we cant expect him to have the same situation as them. All we can do is support him and his music as much as we can/want to. 

anyway im SO sorry for turning this ask into a literal essay, i guess i had a lot to say and honestly im not sure how much of it is coherent or even on topic, it took me like an actual hour to write this all out and when i reread it… it didnt make as much sense as it did in my head lol. anyway i do think we hav some similar feelings and stuff and i really apreciate hearing ur thoughts! I hope we both get to enjoy bty (im so fuckin excited!!! from the teasers hes shared already its gonna be SO GOOD!!!) and i hope more good things happen for louis! tysm for sharing ur thoughts w me! 💙
