#my knowledge of side quests is somewhat lacking tbh

Are there any side quest storylines that you’re particularly fond of or think of as being canon to your WoL’s experiences?

Lot of asks for #23 lol. I really had to sit down and think about this one.

Personally, I really enjoyed the Moogle Delivery quests. Something about getting roped up in a series of silly events and deciding to just go along with it is so oddly in character for Shiun. Like, he's the big grouchy Warrior of Light that "doesnt have time" for shenanigans, but I feel like he also has that weird curiosity to see how stupid situations turn out. While some of the deliveries ended up being an irritating waste of time, others were surprisingly enlightening.

Of course, I feel the need to mention the "Paths We Walk" questline. It took me til Endwalker to actually play it because I completely missed it back when I was in Heavensward. Honestly though, I think it's one of those things that have *more* impact the longer you take to get to it. HW was such a rollercoaster of events and emotions, and having Shiun retrace his steps through it and revist old friends was such a bittersweet experience. I think in Shiun's canon, this time gap is pretty much the same.

When the fate of the entire star rests on your shoulders, it's hard to tell if what you're doing is the right thing. In a way, the events around Zodiarc/Hydaelyn and the Moon in EW kind of reminded me of the Dragonsong war, and I think Shiun definitely thought the same thing. As a creature of constant self doubt, I think re-walking the path of HW and seeing how much Ishgard has changed and healed did much to reassure Shiun that he's doing alright.
