genuinely, what's with all the beige this year? can someone explain this to me? im not really a fashion girlie, i just like it as an expression of art and my runway knowledge is pretty limited. so i genuinely can't tell if it's just a coincidence that there are so many beige gowns this year or if this is on brand for the theme?? is there any deeper meaning to it?

#my knowledge is pretty limited as in im sure i could list like 20 haute couture designers from memory #and i could probably pinpoint a chanel look and a versace look and maybe even dior and gucci in a comparison #but im in awe of people who can look at a dress and casually go oh yeah that's 2012 spring oscar de la renta like it's no big deal #and i do know that beige has been a very popular and trendy shade for the last ten to twelve years ok i don't live under a rock #but i also know (or at least i think) it's not one of this year's trend colors right???#the one fashion influencer that i follow hasn't been mentioning it at least #(victoria magrath btw) (inthefrow)#met gala #fashion #mp
