Just wanted to follow up on that. Unfortunately no, we can't change names in the system ourselves, only managers can do that. I think a big part of the reason I disliked giving out my name so much is because I'm trans and when I started this job wasn't out at work. So when customers asked for my name I had a 'aw fuck not this shit, I don't wanna say THAT name but I can't out myself' moment every time. Realised later I don't give a fuck abt potential douchebags anymore and am now out at work. My name has since been changed to my preferred one in the system thanks to one of the lovely managers taking it upon himself to change it 🥰

As for reporting incidents, there's no point. Sadly, I work for a big corporate club that could give less of a fuck about its staff so long as they make money at our expense. We've had incidents with stalkers, someone publically mastrubating in front of a staff member (when I found out my work did nothing about that one I was fucking livid), hell one of the bosses harasses employees outside of work (nothing explicit, he pushes the boundaries of what he can get away with, and get away with it he does). All of this happens, is reported, and my work does nothing. The Facebook stalker is actually a regular that's been creeping on people for YEARS now. I've worked here for 4 years, and he's been doing it longer then that. Staff have quit because of him, reported his shit behaviour. My work just shrugs and puts up with it because 'oh well he's giving us money'. I think I've personally dealt with these people more then my work has (I've threatened one guy that was trying to solicit my very much underage coworker with taking him out into the carpark and kicking his ass myself if he didn't fuck off after ringing managers multiple times and reporting his continued advances only to be told they couldn't kick him out because he 'hadn't actually done anything' 🙄, I warn the female staff and keep them away from Facebook stalker creep because I refuse to make them put up with him; shit like that). It sucks and it's an awful system, but it's unfortunately how my work functions. I only stay because I can get away with doing the bare minimum and no other jobs available right now would be any better.

So yeah, shit sucks. Overall takeaway: customers, just leave staff the fuck alone. We aren't here to be your friends, we just get paid to put up with you. Don't ask for personal info, stop trauma dumping on us. You're one of hundreds of faces we see every day and I can guarantee with almost certainty you're nothing but the occasional 'that one customer who did X' stories to us. If you wanna make friends, go to a bar, or a meet up. Don't go to your local grocery store and insist yourself upon the employees. (Again, like I said in my first post, this isn't directed at everyone, and there definitely are customers at my work I love seeing and talking to, but that's a total different thing to these types of customers). Sorry this ended up being so long, have a good one :)

🍩 DONUT - favourite sweet treat?

Aika loves anything strawberry! As long as it’s a strawberry flavored ice cream, donut, cake anything, she loves it! She also likes the smell of strawberries which is why Julius started using strawberry flavored shampoo and conditioner 💀💀

🍁 MAPLE LEAF - what is their favourite season? why?

Aika loves the winter because she spent a few years in Spade kingdom for college where winters were long. She has a lot of good memories there with friends and it made her who she is today.

And also, during the time she spent as a soldier when traveling the world, wars would stop during winter. Aika cannot forget the surreal feeling of playing foot ball and having snowball fights with the enemy during Yuletide and sharing drinks with them. It gave her a sense of hope that humanity can get along.

🎀 RIBBON - how would they fit into other worlds / aus? what aus would you like to try out? what fictional world would they fit / not fit into?

I actually have an outline of another AU with Julius and Aika where she finds out that Julius is a time mage WAAAAAY earlier like 4 years earlier than where my fic is rn. When she found out, she signed up to be a gardener so she could get closer to him. No romantic intentions at all.

Her past would still be the same and her daughter, Holly, would also show up semi-frequently as a 6 year old.

Aika would get up near Julius’s office or bedroom window and strike a conversation with him every now and then and they become good friends. She would tease him a lot and she realizes one day that she liked teasing him a little too much. So she asks him out one day but Julius seems hesitant. Says that he’s in a position of power and it would look like he was taking advantage of her. Aika knew it was bullshit and that he was just scared. The same day she quits, leaving Julius devastated.

For a month or two, he doesn’t see her, until the magic knight exam begins and he sees her kick everyone’s ass.

From there Aika climbs to grand magic knight while still holding her original job on the side.

Yk what? I should work on this instead of demons run because in this AU, Julius doesn’t have Lucius in him.

🌈 RAINBOW - what advice would they give to their younger self?

Aika would tell the young Aika who lost her family to keep her chin up. Don’t let the despair get to you. And that life is full of friends and family. She is not alone at any point in her life.

Hyun adores his job, so don’t be surprised if he’s elbow-deep in flour when you get home

he does know where work ends and private life starts, and he can be very sweet without baking cakes 🥰

if you have to be apart from each other for some reason, he won’t check on you every 5 minutes (he knows you better than think that you’re incapable of living on your own) but he appreciates if you still send him an “I arrived safely” message or something

there’s no such thing as too much food. he likes eating just as much as he enjoys the cooking process itself

random movie nights? random movie nights. no horror tho (Hyun says it’s for your sake, but you know the truth...)

Priya:

I firmly believe that Priya is a little spoon and no one can change my mind. even if she’s taller, she just melts if you hug her tightly, wrapping her in your arms

despite this cutie appearance she’s a badass and is not afraid to kick someone’s ass. someone bothers you in a bar? boom Priya’s there like some kind of superhuman

her job is really important to her tho and sometimes she doesn’t choose the right moment to express that

fights with her are as passionate as lovemaking, and at first she might not admit if she’s wrong out of pride. at the end of the day you make peace of course, maybe with a little massage to convince the more stubborn one...

Rayan:

Rayan is one of those typical people who don’t have the heart to wake you up, and just rather watch you sleep. you might get a little grumpy about it later, but he doesn’t feel guilty. at all

in my head Marina is non-extistent, but apart from her some other female students seem to be interested in him. it’s canon that poor bae is oblivious to this, so sometimes you have to take matters in your own hands

despite not being his student anymore you often visit him in his office, but you never sit in on one of his classes (you would just divert his attention anyway ^^)

Rayan appreciates you very much but sometimes he gets so lost in his work, you have to tell him that it’s time to eat / sleep / etc

there are occasions where long lost child in him wakes up and he gets enthusiastic about really random things
