My hair when it's air dried: almost completely straight, very spiky, has some light layering, very thick and shiny, very frizzy if I do not use hair oil but greasy if I use a leave in conditioner

My hair when it's been very lightly spritzed with water: perfect beachy waves, still a little spiky, still very thick and shiny, slightly frizzy on one side, not on the other

My hair when I spend 3 hours on a hair routine including defusing it: very loose ringlets for appx 30 minutes before promptly falling flat like my hopes and dreams

Me: *SCREAMING INTO THE VOID*

#my mom's hair stays curly no matter what #my pos bio father has wavy hair #my sibs hair is super duper long and has the slightest wace to it bc my sib DOES NOTHING WITH ALL THAT HAIR * VIOLENT SOBBING*#and then there's my hair and it refuses to cooperate #ive spent like 7 years trying to figure out a hair routine rhat keeps my curls/waves (idek atp) and i'vz got nothing #if i brush my hair dry it turns into a dense fucking bush that feels like carded wool -_-'#my hair does do the perfect anime spiky bun thing tho so i guess ive got that going for me....
