current mood of the night is realizing that recording using your natural voice does result in higher quality samples and a more consistent voicebank overall (← should not be shocked about this)

#or more concretely:#the new 6 pitch natural CVVC powerscale sounds a whole lot better than the 9 pitch voice acted VCV which is #a little aww but also unsurprising w #like i'm happy with the result and delighted that i'll have a vb of this quality under my belt #but i think more than anything else it just has me shaking my fist towards the heavens #cursing the universe for denying me a masculine tone #anyway w #i just want to record a higher quality salvador someday sdkjfgh #and also oh my god i am doing everything in my power to not immediately drop salvador in favor of new libraries but #my god skdfjhglk
