I mentioned this before however I can’t find the original post, but one of my favorite books as a kid that I read over and over again and it didn’t click until recently why I was so attached to it was

Katy No-Pocket

It’s about a mother kangaroo who doesn’t have a pouch, which means she can’t carry around her kid in it, so she goes around and asks other mothers how they get around with their kids, but none of their ways work for her, eventually she finds this construction dude and tells him her plight so he gives her his apron with many pockets to mimic a pouch for her kid, and not only can she carry around her kid, but now she’s able to help the other moms by carrying their kids for them too !!

It’s most likely not meant to be taken how I’ve taken it but holy shit is this little story dear to me
