My another target @calowlmitygoddess 👀🔪
At first I thought I'd go for a headshot but then an idea came for more interesting pose and I simply couldn't let that go
I also found nice brush for cracks but it was kinda pixelated so I had to polish it and make it smooth but that's fine it turned out nicely.

TWST Ficlet: Happy Birthday Kingsley!
Words: 1.4K
Warnings: none
Characters: Kingsley Tyr ( @tixdixl 's OC,) Copper Benoit and Jackie the monkey (my OCs,) Gia Yugo ( @ramshacklerumble 's OC, briefly mentioned,) and Sebek Zigvolt
Tumblr media
There was something rather…morose about the Diasomnia dorm, Copper Benoit reflected. Dignified, but morose. He supposed the sense of that came from the green flames that burned in the sconces along the walls and the candles in the occasional chandelier. It was meant to honor the Thorn Fairy's own fire magic, he knew that, but Copper couldn't help but also think that the green flames meant something quite different in his particular circle, and therefore carried a slightly different mood for him.
A small whoop by his ear and tiny tugs at his hair broke his musing as they walked along.
"Oi, calm now, Jackie," he muttered, but the monkey shifted his weight on Copper's shoulder and stood on his little feet, leaning like he was about to climb onto the young man's head. "What's up with you—ah, Sebek!"
His fellow freshman had rounded the corner, walking stiffly upright and serious as ever, and when he saw Copper there was a brief flash of surprise across his face before he relaxed the barest fraction.
"Benoit," he said, always speaking a little louder and firmer and with more direct eye contact than was necessary, like he was overcorrecting at all times. "What brings you to Diasomnia? Normally visitors aren't allowed in without being checked at the front gate."
He said this last with a slightly testy edge, as though to remind Copper that he too, was subject to scrutiny even if they had good rapport. Copper tried not to be too surprised; Sebek took his duties as one of Malleus Draconia's bodyguards more seriously than was expected of anyone.
"Ah, no worries, the boys at the gate let me in after I answered their questions," he said, turning slightly to face Sebek and lift the package in his arms for emphasis. "I just need to drop this off with Mr. Tyr."
Sebek immediately narrowed his eyes and scowled in irritation, drawing an anxious chitter out of Jackie.
"Hmph! Tyr? I won't ask what business you have with him, but I suppose if you're looking for him, he's probably shut up in his room."
Copper nodded, trying to keep his expression neutral as much as possible. He considered both Sebek and Kingsley to be allies, possibly individuals he could potentially call his friends, but you couldn't be around either of them for more than two seconds without being aware of their mutual animosity for one another. This proved to be plenty of reason on its own to avoid saying exactly why he'd come all the way here, as he couldn't predict how Sebek might respond.
"Thanks, Sebek," he said, nodding and turning away. "Good to see you, I'll drop this off and be on my way."
He hadn't gone very far when he heard a quiet mutter that sounded like "be careful", but when he paused and looked back, Sebek crossed his arms and added in a quick, louder tone, "K- keep hold of your monkey, too!"
"Aye, don't worry, Jackie'll behave," Copper said with a shrug and a light chuckle, even as Jackie grumbled and twisted around to keep watching Sebek. He gave it a couple more strides before, just for good measure, he hissed at the monkey, "You make a liar outta me, I'll hand ya t'Vil and say 'have at' for a few hours."
Instantly Jackie became the picture of domesticated innocence and sweetness, and Copper felt satisfied that he would stay that way. At least for a couple more minutes.
They reached Kingsley's door in record time, and Copper adjusted his grip on the box so he could free up a hand to knock on the door.
"Oi, Kingsley, it's me. You in? I'm here, like I said I'd be," he called out.
There was a considering pause, and then a brief, "Enter."
Copper opened the door and stepped in, unsurprised to find Kingsley seated at a desk and turned to face him, mask still on his face. As Copper looked briefly around the room to take it in—and found he was unsurprised at how militant Kingsley's side of the room seemed to be—he smelled something unexpectedly sweet and appetizing. Apparently Jackie smelled it too, because he gave a little hop and stood upright on Copper's shoulder, letting out a warbling trill.
"Oh don't you even think about it," he warned, but Kingsley seemed to already be considering this and placed a hand over something covered in foil on the desk.
"They're from Yugo," he remarked, staring down the capuchin. "Not for Jackie."
Normally he might have gotten a hiss of thwarted displeasure, but Kingsley had already been moving as he spoke and, with the same deadly accuracy he threw his hand axes with, he pitched something at the monkey. Jackie caught it and left out another troll, hopping from Copper's shoulder to his head and dangling his new prize down in front of his master's face.
"Woe," Copper remarked as he looked at the apple before the monkey yanked it back out of sight. "He's got your number now, ya furry blackguard." In truth he felt a smidge of affection at the display and thus used it as an opening to proffer the box he held to Kingsley. "As I promised. Whether or not you're concerned with celebrating, least I can do is acknowledge the date today."
"January fourteenth," Kingsley said pointedly, but he took the box anyway. It was plain, unwrapped, but it rattled slightly and he gave Copper a sharp, questioning look.
"You remember when ya first approached me and we talked?" Copper asked, folding his arms. "What I pointed out to you?"
A flare of recognition in the Diasomnia freshman's eyes, then a nod.
"I should be careful not to tip my hand," he said, the words a little hushed.
Copper nodded, then gestured to the box. Without a word, Kingsley started to open it, methodical and precise.
"The phrase is used in card games mostly," Copper said, watching as Kingsley revealed three sizable cups carved from wood and wrapped with leather, and a large velvet pouch with its drawstrings pulled closed. "And most people turn to chess for a game of strategy. But if you're going to be running with pirates—" here Copper took a moment to smile wryly and flip his hand in a sweeping gesture to indicate himself, "—then I say ya need to learn our game. Liar's Dice."
Kingsley gently lifted the velvet bag, listening to the soft, churning rattle-clack of dice spilling over each other and clicking together. "A bluffing game," he guessed without looking up from the bag.
"And a battle of wits," Copper said. "Given the fact everyone downstairs seems to be settin' up for a party…"
"Pointless," Kingsley commented without an ounce of affect, and Copper had to restrain the urge to roll his eyes before he continued.
"Then whene'er ya wanna learn or test out your skill…well, I'm not hard to find."
Jackie gave a chirp at this, and Copper held out his arm so the monkey could hop onto it. Kingsley looked up as Jackie moved, and the monkey reached out to him, holding out a small object and making soft cooing sounds. Kingsley gave him a look, but accepted the object anyway, setting the box aside and turning this new thing over.
"A new whittling knife," Copper explained, seconds before Kingsley opened the blade. "Jackie wouldn't leave the Mystery Shop without it, and Sam…encouraged it be given to you as well. Cups for Liar's Dice like those you've got can be carved, personalized. And, if ya don't care to, never hurts to have a new tool, right?"
Kingsley said nothing, but he looked up at Copper with a nod and, if there was no change to the set of his mouth or his brow, his eyes said plenty. The Pomefiore freshman gave a crooked little grin, brought Jackie in close to his chest, and offered Kingsley a brief salute.
"Whenever ya feel like it," Copper said as he turned to leave. "Ya already know the first and most important point anyhow. Never tip your hand."
And though he didn't see it and doubted it was an actual physical thing, Copper got the faintest impression by some subtle shift in the air that perhaps, in his own way, Kingsley was giving him a grim, lethal smile, pleased enough.
Tumblr media
Yes I wrote this and immediately pictured the Protagonist Trio (Kingsley, Gia and Copper) playing Liar's Dice with Grim. Also I headcanon that Sebek keeps intentionally acting like it's not Kingsley's birthday, but also, he probably doesn't genuinely know that Copper is forming a friendship with Kingsley. So there we go. Thank you for reading!

Kitty and the Twisted Toon Gang
Tumblr media
Good morning, guys! 🌄
OH MY GOD!!! I MISS YOU GUYS SO MUCH 😭😭😭😭😭😭!!!! I am so, so sorry for being MIA for over two weeks now. Things have been so chaotic, and there was so much to do in such little time, I can’t believe it 😫 Thank you all for sticking around even though things were crazy, and I hope you guys are doing all right, because I have another drawing I’d like to share with you 🥰😊🥰
@weaselnerd, @lastofautumn, and @trashogram A.K.A. @mantisandthemoondragon, I’m tagging you guys because 1. I miss you, and 2. I wanna help cheer you up 🤗❤🤗. @spookiifi and @marinerainbow, I’m tagging you too because I miss you as well 🤗🤗🤗
This gift drawing is for @thatnerdgirl7 A.K.A. @just-kit-ink 🎁. Kit, thank you so, so much for giving me permission to draw Kitty! 😁😁😁 She was so much fun 🤩😍🤩! I sincerely apologize for taking so long to complete your gift, I’ve been so exhaustingly busy 😔. I thought I’d get some time over the weekends to work on the drawing, but once again, I spoke too soon. Like – OK, I’m making a new New Year’s resolution: the next time I work on a drawing, especially if it’s a gift for a friend, I won’t speak too soon on when I’ll finish it. I gotta stop jinxing my schedule, it’s getting out of control 🤦‍♀️
Anyway, I’m adding a little drabble of her interacting with the twins and their pack. Hope you all enjoy! 😁
P.S. Hey, Kit, while I was editing the drabble, I was re-reading your cartoon roleplays (I love them, by the way 😍) and I mentioned Huckleberry ACE Academy. If that's not the college Kitty goes to, just let me know and I'll fix it! 😁
Kitty Hawkins belongs to @thatnerdgirl7 A.K.A. @just-kit-ink
Poppy O’Hare and Shiny Weasel belong to @marinerainbow (they’re mentioned in this drabble 😊)
The Twisted Toon Gang belongs to me
~
It’s been a while since Kitty played cards.
With her double life as a college student and her “job”, it’s hard to find some downtime and enjoy a good game of blackjack. Or poker. She always had a good head on her shoulders when it comes to cards, but she had to admit, her new opponents certainly gave her a run for her money.
In a game where bluffing is everything, it’s hard not to be transparent. You can tell that Adam’s got an ace up his sleeve as he took his sweet time calculating his next move before attacking within a blink of an eye, leaving no survivors in the field. Tom, on the other hand, was a breed apart. His face was a total blank, but his tactics were just as swift and brutal.
Soon, it was his turn. He observed the deck before him, then furrowed his brows. “Hmm…” he hummed, rubbing his chin. “Well, shit. All I got is…”
He slammed his cards down. “A full house!”
“What?! No!” Adam exclaimed, gobsmacked at the younger horror Toon’s victory.
“Again?” Kitty laughed, rubbing her temple as she accepted defeat with grace. Damn, these guys are tough.
“Goddammit!”
“See, I just whooped your ass twice, son!” Tom cackled, laughing at Adam’s glower. Then, he extended his hand. “Pay up.”
The vulpine growled but begrudgingly handed his leader the money while muttering a few curses. “Can’t believe I’m losing my own score two times in a row.”
“Now, now. Don’t be a sore loser, Slick.” The Rubberhose wolf halfie lightly chastised, shaking his head amusedly. “Hawkins here has more dignity than that.”
“At least she’s not gloating, you cocky little prick.” Adam grinned half-humorously.
“Well, you’re both pretty good card players, I’ll give you that.” the spunky ravenette admitted, still chucking at the boys’ banter.
“It’s all about skill and experience, Hawkins,” Tom returned her compliment, nodding. He flexed three new cards in his hand, “You gotta be willing to lose with grace, unlike Old Man Foxy here.”
Adam flipped him the bird in response, but there was no real malice in his smile.
Kitty chuckled again before glancing between the two. For a group of “Twisted Toons”, they seem like a decent bunch. Now, Kitty learned pretty early on that despite what Toons were originally created for, to serve as entertainment and nothing more, she wasn’t naïve. She knew better than to judge a book by its cover. Toons are far stronger, smarter and more capable than most humans think. She should know, because she’s working for a boogle of them.
When you have enough of being mistreated and kicked around by the world, you tend to…snap.
But still, it has to make you wonder, what’s so scary about these guys that they’re considered “twisted”?
Her train of thoughts hit the brakes when Tom called to her. “Hey, Hawkins.”
“Yeah?”
“Here you go. A gift,” he placed the money Adam gave him in her hand. Wait, did he just give her money?
“Uh, thanks?” she raised a brow, “But why’d you give me this?”
The gunslinger and the technician shared a brief, albeit meaningful glance before Tom answered, “Well, you see, Hawkins,” he began, and Kitty knew right away that this little gift exchange didn’t come without purpose. “There’s a reason why we invited you here. After we met and started hanging out together, we knew that you are special. See, most humans we’ve dealt with have been nothing but douchebags, psychos and assholes who treated Toonkind like dogshit. We’ve seen the ugly truths of humanity in our line of work, but not you. You’re better.”
Kitty’s eyes went wide. She was speechless. Has…has she passed a test or something?
As if he could hear her thoughts, Adam answered her. “You’ve proven yourself. You take Toons’ rights seriously. You care about our livelihoods, and you ain’t afraid of standing up for what’s right no matter who’s in charge. A truly ally of Toons.”
If Kitty was made of stone, she wouldn’t cry. If her heart was made from iron, it wouldn’t melt. She was made from neither of those things. Her heart swelled with immense joy and gratitude but also shattered from the thought of these two horror Toons and whoever they’re close to going through so much pain. If things are already tough for Toons here in L.A., just how bad are they in Chicago?
Tom cleared his throat, clearing trying to not appear sentimental. “And now, today is your biggest and final test.”
Oh boy, this is serious, Kitty realized, her shoulders tense and her posture straight. What’s the final test? Another heart-to-heart? More intel on Toon cases? Or…did they need her help with a case of their own?
“Katherine Hawkins, Defender of Toons,” Tom stood up from his chair, and immediately Kitty and Adam followed suite. The leader stood tall and vigilant, unmoving as he gave out her final task while taking her hand holding the money.
Finally, he spoke. “You get to go shopping today.”
“…”
“…”
“…”
“Uh, what?” Kitty asked, dumbfounded. Her mind was a total blank, as if her brain slipped out like an egg rolling off a frying pan. Shopping? Her final test is to go shopping?
“My final test is shopping?”
“Yes,” Tom nodded. He was actually serious. “And take our sisters with you.”
The Defender blinked, even more dumbfounded. “Sisters?”
A knock came at the door.
“I’ll get it,” Adam said, setting the deck down before walking up to the door. Kitty heard the door open and Adam greet the newcomers, “Hey, there’s my little princess! Did you sleep well, Candy Girl?”
“There better be a good reason why you woke me up to come here,” a tired, groggy childlike voice accented with Irish descent grumbled.
“Awe, come on, pipsqueak,” Adam chuckled teasingly, “You missin’ your beauty sleep already—OW!”
“Thanks, Twyla.”
Kitty blinked, surprised. Is that a little girl she’s hearing?
Adam returned to the lobby, followed by two Toon girls. One was indeed a child, and the other was exactly Kitty’s own age. Like Tom, but also younger.
It was the child who got Kitty’s attention first. And she had to be the cutest mouse she had ever seen in her entire life! She had to be either eleven or twelve, but she was small enough to be seven. Her fur was a soft tan, warming the curves of her large mouse-like ears to the tip of her long tail, and her head was a cloud of soft, fluffy pink cotton candy for hair. Although she had no whiskers, her cute little pink nose twitched from the different scents of wood and cardstock and tiny little buck teeth poked out from her lips while she laughed at the fox’s current misery. Her eyes were wide saucers of sky-blue youth and wonder, kissed by girlish lashes that fluttered like the wings of a delicate butterfly.
She also seemed to be fond of fairies, given her fashion choice. The petite pinkette wore a grunge green long-sleeve top decorated with a soft golden butterfly fairy skull aesthetic over dark turquoise pants with matching sneakers, and she wore crystal blue fairy wing earrings embedded with two white pearls. Her ears twitched with every sound they detected as she curiously looked around the room, clearly not understanding why she was here.
Kitty knows she doesn’t judge Toons, but there’s no way this kid is a horror Toon. In her defense, she’s just too freaking cute!
And finally, Kitty noticed the older girl, another Toon wolf, standing close to the child, almost protectively. She stood just shy of six feet, but her striking presence made her appear even taller. And she was quite enchanting, to be honest. Her hair was as black as an inky, starless night sky with waves above her midriff like the wings of a hovering raven, and wily wistful bangs veiled her left eye like the curved blade of a karambit knife. Ghostly pale gray fur warmed her body, an eerie contrast to her dark midnight shroud. On top of her head were two massive wolflike ears, one of them notched and pierced by a single silver hoop earring.
Her face was soft and angelic, framed like an adorable heart with a small touch of fluff kissing her cheeks and she had a cute black puppy nose. She also had dark, delicate lips as soft as petals probably hiding fangs as sharp and fearsome as her onyx-painted claws, and her body was carved with svelte, sylphlike curves many women would kill for. But it was her eyes that caught Kitty’s attention the most. The younger ravenette’s eyes large, doe-like eyes were two pie-cut orbs painted in bewitching shades of amethyst and midnight, glittering like starlight. Behind her, a long, enormous tail nearly twice her size loomed around like a moving shadow, covered in soft, thick layers of inky fur.
Her Gothic clothing matched her strange, unusual persona; she wore a long-sleeved vampiric off-the-shoulder top sewn in rich, dark blackberry velvet and styled with a sweetheart neckline displaying her femineity over form-fitting black jeans adorned with a belt holding a silver crescent moon buckle. The shoes she wore brought a heightened sense of asskickery; Cesare Paciottis, the only brand of shoes in the world that are made with gorgeous blades for heels. This chick was wearing blades for heels. Kitty made a mental note to steer clear if someone got on her bad side. And to add a final touch of jewelry, she wore a glimmering silver crescent moon necklace perfectly sat on her decolletage, completing her eccentric ensemble.
Tom’s footsteps snapped Kitty back to her consciousness, and he too walked over to greet the girls. He lightly ruffled the mouse girl’s head and hugged her companion, “Thanks for coming here on such short notice.” He thanked them, “We know that this is a little out of the blue, but trust me, we have a good reason for bringing you two here.”
“So, what’s up?” the pinkette asked, walking a few steps closer to the Goth horror Toon whose tail lightly coiled around her feet.
The leader cleared his throat, “Girls, we’d like you too—”
“YOU’RE GOING SHOPPING!” Adam exclaimed, and both Tom and Kitty nearly went deaf from the loud volume of the technician’s booming shout. Judging by the gunslinger wolf’s face, he totally did that on purpose.
“WE ARE?!” the preteen’s face brightened into a wide, beaming smile. And damn, if that didn’t make the Californian sleuth want to coo, she doesn’t know what would. The kid squealed and jumped in the older girl’s arms, wrapping her tiny arms around her shoulders in a tight hug. “You hear that, sis?! We’re going shopping!”
She chuckled, “Yeah, guess it’s a Shopping Saturday, after all.”
Kitty blinked again. There was something about the Gothic ravenette’s voice that captured her attention more than her appearance. Something...enthralling. If words would describe her voice, it would be like hearing a rare, unheard of but unforgettable lullaby that only spirits and witches would sing in the dead of night. Like Tom, her accent was one of Chicago grit, but while his was rough and gravelly, hers was soft and silky.
Tom cleared his throat a second time, exaggeratingly louder. “Yes, but that’s not the only reason why you’re here,” he states, not hesitating to give the older male Twisted Toon a glare which he only grinned back in return. He rolled his eyes, shaking his head before stating, “Girls, we called you in today because there’s someone we want you to meet.”
The two males cleared the path, revealing the Defender of Toons herself. Both perplexed, the girls slowly exchanged a confused glance before facing the human, then their brothers. “Who’s this?” Twyla asked, carefully putting the child down while giving Kitty a brief once-over.
Kitty knew what that look meant, one she completely understood. She’s not giving me bad vibes, but why did they call us in to meet her?
Tom seemed to read her mind and answered her question. “Girls, we’d like you to meet Kitty Hawkins, the Defender of Toons. She’s a student at Huckleberry Academy, and she’s an outstanding advocate for Toons’ rights while learning about animation.” He chuckled, “She even took a few cases of her own, and she knows this part of town like the back of her hand. She’ll be accompanying you on your little Girl’s Trip today.”
Then, he turned to Kitty. “Hawkins, these are our little sisters. Cotton-Candy Cheddar here is Echo, the baby of the family. She may be young, but she’s our little psychic who’s been a huge help in some of our cases.” He snickered, “If you buy her Tinkerbell merch, she’ll never leave you alone.”
“Hey!” Echo pouted, her face morphing into a cute little frown that made Kitty’s heart soar. WHY IS SHE SO CUTE?!?!?!
“I’m not obsessed with Tinkerbell, I just love fairies, OK?” she crossed her arms, sassily sticking her tongue out.
Oh my gosh, I’m going to cry, the junior detective thought. She couldn’t handle anymore of this intense cuteness, she just can’t.
Tom laughed, then addressed the taller dark-haired girl with a genuine, warm smile. “And this is my twin sister, Twisted Twyla. She’s a little shy, but she’s very sweet once you get to know her. Also, she…”
His words trailed off as Kitty returned her attention to the amethyst-eyed horror Toon, Twyla. This time, she gave her the once-over. Wait, this is Twyla? The badass biker chick who drove Poppy home and wasn’t allowed to leave hers and Shiny’s house for the rest of the afternoon? The adorable spooky cinnamon roll who won over Shiny’s shielded heart without even lifting a finger?
The more Kitty inspected her, the more she remembered. She did recall Poppy mentioning something about “Twyla and Shiny having so much in common”, and it wasn’t until Kitty noticed Twyla’s hair and tail did she completely remember what it was. Halfie Toons. From what Shiny told her, hybrid Toons or “halfies” as they’re called, are Toons naturally born between two different Toon species, whether one parent is a cartoon human or animal. It was rare, though not uncommon, for two different Toons to fall in love and raise halfie children.
But it was still in fact, rare. Hell, their popularity is literally twenty percent. Unfortunately, that’s due to the brutal mistreatment these poor kids suffer with growing up. Bullying, harassment, even violent hate-crimes, everything Toons face on a regular basis…but worse. Much worse. And all because their parents, who chose love over society, are too different from each other.
And Shiny is a halfie, too. Half-weasel, half-honey badger. So that would mean that Twyla is half-wolf…and half-mink. Kitty glanced at Tom, then realization dawned upon her.
Oh, she thought, he’s a halfie too. They’re fraternal twins. Makes perfect sense.
“Well, Hawkins?”
Kitty snapped back to the present once more and faced Tom. He and Adam both appeared content and laid-back in their postures, but their gazes were solid, unwavering. “You up for a fun day with the girls?” the leader asked, arms crossed.
She knew what he was really asking. Can you do this, Hawkins? Can you make sure they come back to us alive?
It felt like the weight of the entire universe was on her shoulders. This wasn’t just about having fun and bonding with two horror Toon girls who are just simply too precious for this world, but about keeping them safe while in a new state miles away Tom and Adam spent months trying to find, a place to call home.
This was her final test. And this one she could not fail.
Kitty made up her mind, then walked over to the duo. She gently held Echo with one hand and wrapped another around Twyla’s shoulders.
“Can I keep them?” she asked the guys, giving them her best puppy eyes.
“WHAT?!”
“HAWKINS, WHAT THE FU—”
~
And that concludes it! No one is safe from the power of cuteness. Not Shiny, and most certainly not Kitty 🤣 The only question is, who should be next 👀?
Hope you guys enjoy this silly overdue drabble of mine! 😁😊😁
