I tried to replicate the background from Archer’s but it was such a pain. Procreate isn’t good to make straight lines :(. Like you can but I find it hard to hold the pen down and not just consecutively make more straight lines from the last point. I don’t know why but the stars are bothering me lol. Anyways, the Avenger icon I just took from the internet

Hi Maymay!!! I knew you'd be the first person to ask a question haha! 💫 Who/what is your favourite thing to draw? - My friend's OC's!! I love being able to spread joy just by drawing someones blorbo... It helps that all of my friends are incredibly kind about my progress and current art skills and never fail to make me smile when they ramble about OC art that I make. I also recently found out that I apparently really like drawing chibis, so that's a recent development! 🦑 How did you design your OC? - Oh that's a hell of a question... Originally, Minette was supposed to have white hair instead of the mint but after a bit of playing around with a picrew I found out the mint was really cute and just adapted her story to match! After switching her to Felix's sister, her original haircolour went from blonde to dark blue so the development was: blonde, white, blue, mint. LMFAO Ria helped me with the pre-timeskip design and I just cobbled things together I liked from the references: a hood, the poncho, the ruffled skirt, the bag and the white shoes to match Felix. Ria also added a pink bow braided into her hair and that was immediately canon to me.... Plus her prosthetic came from the tragedy and was actually HEAVILY inspired by Alita: Battle Angel and her porcelain design. For the postskip design I must admit I was very vague AHAHAH but I had told you that I wanted it to look like Felix's with the fur and funky little diamond pattern iirc And Samira is pure vibes, no thoughts. The only thing I knew is that she'd wear pants with her uniform instead of the skirt and that she'd have a loose blouse because she trains a lot. Plus that her hair would be untamed because she does not care much about appearance.

🃏 What's some advice you'd give to your past self regarding art? - Oh I think you might know the answer already HAHAHA but I wish I was less harsh on myself and my skills because I'd often get very frustrated and it would make me not want to draw. I would often try to draw something ABOVE my skill level and ofc it would usually disappoint so I wish I had learned how to draw in my skill level and HOW to advance in a healthy way. I think I also would tell myself to see the power in studies because since I've begun my anatomy studies I understand it better (surprise surprise) What has also helped me a lot was realizing the guilt for starting to draw later in life shouldn't be a thing I even think about, because sure if I would have started drawing earlier in life I might be good now but you know what they say: The best time to start was yesterday. The next best time is now.
