I spend a lot of time trying to get the polycounts of my conversions as low as possible without compromising too much on quality. The lower I go, the more likely the textures start to go squiggly and I wonder how big a deal this is to people? Would you prefer a perfect hair with a high polycount or a mid-poly hair with subtle imperfections?

⟡ so as you can tell from this post, im officially back from my hiatus!

i honestly could have come back sooner but i just wanted to ride out the month of october so i didn't feel overwhelmed if i came back when i thought i felt better and not at 100%.

but yes a month long break was necessary for me and my mental health since i had been on tumblr consistently for a good 3 years at this point without one, so it was a long time coming.

but now im feeling a lot better and ive been slowly just easing myself into using the site again and exposing myself to my activity tab (r.e my hiatus announcement) and now i don't feel any kind of anxiety when seeing it so its progress! (i have yet check it thought but as soon as this is posted, i will be sorting through it)

with not being on the app/site, ive had some spare time open up for me and i've been utilizing it and i got back into journaling which was something i had been trying to do for the longest time but i treated this place as my digital one but clearly it didn't work out the way I wanted.

anyways moving on, I also was able to write quite a bit while on my break and i feel good about them because i didn't have the pressure of posting them right away.

but since i did write some fics! im so excited to share them with you guys so i made schedule of what/when im posting them and that'll be posted later today!

speaking of fics i made a poll before i went on hiatus about making a tag list for my fics and the majority of votes wanted me to make a tag list so i made a separate post for the tag list and how you can be added! [taglist has been posted]

with the housekeeping out of the way. yayy im back!! life has been great this past october and as sad as i was that i couldn't give you guys live updates, ill post them some of them here :P

i've made some more friends in my classes and I went to my first concert ever! it was a conan gray concert and ill make a separate post about my fit and the experience since it was so fun! other than that it was a relaxing month and my brother was in town and visited for a week and a half so having to share my room with my sister wasn't the best time but nonetheless we survived nonetheless LOL

anyways enough rambling! i have to say that i can't wait to binge everyone's kinktober and just the fics i've missed on here in general! im so happy to be back and im just so excited to share the things i have planned with you guys! (i'm so back guys ahhh!)

Reductive Audio #7 Spoilers

Uhh this is just a list of my favorite facts from the reductive audio

All d(a)emons are ambidextrous, and Ivan is left-handed, but the cool part is that Ivan became ambidextrous when Vega was controlling him (idk is that cool?? It's interesting for sure)

Brachium has only ever experienced vanilla extract through the memories of the dead.

Caelum on the other hand has made a "Vanilla Extract Tumblr Cake" (one of those polls where people "bake a cake" and it has too much vanilla extract voted for, i think) and it turned out horrible!

In Mario games, Elliot was forced to play as Luigi by Aaron, because of his at home nickname being "Ell/L" and Luigi starts with an L (you get the gist. It sounds the same)(Elliot wanted to be toad tho)(Aaron would play as Mario)

Gavin technically can and has pretended to read a book, he just has never actually committed to doing so

Lasko is scared of heights even though he knows that he could catch himself if he were to fall, so he thinks the fear is annoying

Damien peut parle français (Where did Damien learn french?? At home? School? As a hobby?)

Ash was taller than David, until David hit puberty and shot up (thus the big guy nickname came to be)(Seriously tho. So many boys would shoot up in like 3 months during summer break and be wayy tall when we'd get back to school and I was always amazed that someone could grow that tall that quick)

Oof T-T Sam was close with his Grandma Adeline (Adelene?), and when she passed he went back home to Mont Blanc to say goodbye to her grave (he snuck into the cemetery at night because he was a vampire by then)

Kody was gonna originally be involved with Closeknit, but then his character was taken in a different direction (makes lots of sense. He would be a closeknit guy)

Huxley was the fastest kid in his grade because he was obsessed with Bionicles (specifically pohatu with the mask of speed) (omg i forgot about bionicles until I looked them up again. I never did anything with them but I remember them)

Milo doesn't drink alcohol because he doesn't want to find out if he can get addicted to things as easily as his dad

Avior has HEARD of Gavin but never met him before

Oldest 3 d(a)emons in order: Polaris (Dead), Vega (dead for a bit but alive again), Ursa (elation daemon)

Porter's maker was a dude named Felix, who got executed because Felix seemed to really like creating progeny (as well as being horrible to them)

Alexis resents Porter for becoming William's favorite when he wants someone to go out and do whatever, because Alexis does more "collateral damage" than Porter

Okay first Pencil! She is my favourite option out of the realistic picks.

She’s pretty fun to have around and it would be interesting to see what she gets up to now that her alliance is pretty much entirely gone.

Next Bracelety. I really don’t want it to be Bracelety sorry.

I feel like she’s going to be either reduced to a joke character again, or she is going to end up being a character development tool for Ice Cube. Their dynamic just feels too similar to Clock and Winner.

I would be completely okay with Liy joining TPOT.

She didn’t really get a chance to have much character because she was introduced and eliminated early in bfb. I would be interested in seeing how she does in TPOT, and I’ll be rooting for her in the exitor polls.

Roboty is a no

I hate you 8-ball.

I hate very few characters in this series, however 8-ball is an exception. He isn’t funny, or interesting, or unique, he doesn’t have a cool design; there is literally nothing to like about him and I sincerely hope he stays in 4 and X’s kitchen. Never speak to me or my child (Basketball) ever again!!!

Stapy is next. I wouldn’t mind him joining TPOT.

Since he was introduced and eliminated early in bfb, he (similarly to Liy) has some room to show more personality which I would be happy to see in TPOT. As long as doing dumb stuff and blaming it on his stapler instincts isn’t his only character trait.

David feels like filler to me. I would rather not have him join.

He’s just not that interesting. I like his little dynamic with Roboty as non-dialogue characters who look out for each other, but I’m also completely uninterested in Roboty joining.

Match is okay, but I feel like there are options that are more interesting, and deserve it more.

She already had her time to shine in 3 seasons of the show, and she’d act pretty similarly to Pencil, so I think I’d rather just have Pencil join.

Firey Jr joining wouldn’t be terrible, but it wouldn’t be the best.

He’s similar to Fanny in that he can be used as a way to confront other character’s beliefs from an unbiased view. Other than that though, he’d probably just complain all of the time.

I can’t use any more pictures, but Dora’s next. I voted for Dora. I know. It’s silly of me to be thinking so much of the plot relevance of all the other characters and then vote for Dora. BUT I JUST REALLY LIKE DORA BFDI OKAY!!!

She always wins challenges for her team, she has fun moments where she sings, she makes for a lot of very funny jokes, and I’m sure the writers could figure out a way to make her role in the story feel satisfying!

I saw a head cannon once that the winner of my main bracket, Death the kid from soul eater, might not even know he has OCD because its hard to know you have OCD while going though the soul eater tag once. SO ive had this idea in my head that after winning my poll AND @/OCD-swag- tournament he just, comes back after being crowned OCD character of all time and just asks "So- What is OCD..???" and everyone just stares at him. and its funnier in my head but dhjajsj

I think the game show host should have some sort of different dimension hopping powers if she can get all these different characters in the same room :)

The game show contestants do not know about the different dimension hopping thing they just think that's some of these people are really odd.

Half the contests don't even know how they got here actually- they just got here one day and now they are in a game show i guess

More Stanley Lore is I don't think this man has seen another person in like, however many years hes been in the parable, I think the first time he sees another person he will simply attach himself to that person. This leads to Mr. Stanley Parable and Zane Ro'meave from mystreet forming literally the most unlikely friendship ever, I think it would be funny

I tend to exist my life from sewing project to sewing project, so my mind immediately gravitates to that. while there are definitely sections on anne that fall short of my expectations, in general i really am proud of how its come out! the corset, especially. ive been sewing a long time and this is really the first time i feel like ive done something im PROUD to put my name towards. i hope i can feel that way about many more things in the future.

i think id also say im proud of the snippets ive been writing recently too. i dont know if theyre interesting to anyone else (the formatting is certainly. weird. i hesitate to associate them with fics at all) but ive been letting myself just. plot the ideas as they come. even if that means scribbling them down on the first thing i can grab at work. its felt good.

i dont! my first crush turned first gf was a girl i met through DeviantArt n we did not actually keep touch for long. i hope she is well tho, that relationship was important to the trajectory of my life, even if it wasnt really a proper relationship

ha WELL i literally already told u about my most recent purchases (the books and even the shelf) so i feel like i should pick a different answer-

so ive been trying to actively work through the fabric i have (see: dress poll!) so ive been making plans for things i own! its been a lot of fun revisiting things i bought like, 5 years ago and seeing how my tastes have changed. ive been sketching up some new plans for things, though i must admit im determined to make myself finish up some ufos and 'practical' pieces first (looking at you, waistcoats) im also excited to get to some fun things! i have literally. 20+ projects to pick from, including a dozen or so cosplay ideas! the future is infinite

Specifically, the idea ive been excited for recently came up as a side note of dress polls. i have this green cotton duvet cover i acquired for mock up fabric, but that ive earmarked for a dress instead first (i think its a king duvet so ill probably still have half left when im done ngl) i saw this gorgeous applique dress, and it sparked my imagination!! i wouldnt want to do something exactly like that i dont think, but i have a metric ton of black cord, and i was thinking about couching it (sewing over it with a zigzag, basically) down onto the dress in an ivy (?) pattern to create the effect! i might need to twist up a couple strands of cord to get a nice thickness but i think itd be really fun. i havent done couching since i was in college, but i think its the perfect technique for something organic like ivy. this is very much a future project, but its finally a solid idea for this particular fabric! something new!

heyy!! was rereading your answer to my ask (as you do with letter from your friends) and it came to me that i sort of came off as saying that Hold the Girl would be surprising as one of anybody's favourite albums, like a hater. that's not what i meant!! i love the album!!!! it's just that you never brought it up and i haven't seen it brought up that much in the tumblr music conversation so i was surprised.

but yeah i love that album!!! specifically i love Phantom and Hurricanes (GREAT catharsis songs to pretend scream at your mirror to) and Send My Love To John (few songs make me cry as unavoidably as this one)

yayy hope you have a nice day. also here's another surprising fact about musical preferences: i work at a primary school (with 9 year olds). i polled them to find out what their favourite artists were and a good 1/4 of the class said Coldplay. not that i have anything against coldplay, but it's such a random band for little kids to love??? half the class said tswift and one very smart fun fact loving kid said Blondie. your favourite band being blondie when you're nine is an amount of swag previously unseen i think

omg yayy!! （*＾ワ＾*）i highly agree, i think when you pair books with music, it's like a match made in heaven. i also like to make playlists when writing, because they help me get into "the zone" yk haha. but omg of course, i feel like due to how fast things are moving nowadays, you might feel like you need to move just as fast or publish as many fics/oneshots/drabbles as you can and as fast as you can, but it doesn't have to be like that. just take your time <3
