the boy with the arab strap is a perfect album. i’ve never heard an album, including any other belle and sebastian album, that sounds and feels the way that boy with the arab strap feels. the songs fit so perfectly together and they’re all so beautiful.

#my favourite belle and seb album has been dear catastrophe waitress for yeeeeeaaaaars because i hold so so so so much nostalgia for it #but i think it’s changed now #also i’ll never understand why sinister was the big album in the states and then bwtas didn’t get the same level of praise and fame #cause it’s better. like sorry it’s just better #although judy and the dream of horses is possibly my favourite belle and seb song #but as an album bwtas is better
