The Bias List

@avatarfantxsy @quyennie @despairandjo I decided to just list them. I need to make a separate post for bands tho. (that was a lie almost as fat as me) So in this bias list I will only list groups that I listen to. The last bias list I posted there were a lot of groups that I hadn’t listened to yet so this one will just be the groups I know of. I have a few to add, some I have taken off and I will have a section at the end for potential biases. Also some groups have 2-6 biases. For example I literally can’t choose with UP10TION. And sometimes I go back and forth and members in groups so often I’ve somehow tricked my brain into thinking I have more than one. If it’s confusing I promise the first member of each group on the list is definitely a locked bias. And another thing, if the member is specifically on my list of moms or daddies they wont be on here, unless they both

who or what caught my attention i initially heard “wannabe” in a mashup actually!!! (i unironically LOVE kpop mashups lmao) so i went to check it out and i REALLY liked it! the instrumental immediately hooked me. the synths were sooo lush. oh man and then after the intro, the instrumental goes really sparse and then keeps BUILDING, it makes the chorus (WHICH HAS BRASS.. HEWWO... love brass in pop songs) feel really satisfying. the melody is also just sooo good and SOOO catchy without feeling overly repetitive. the one with the pink hair has a lovely vocal color! i also listened to “one (lucid dream)” when it came up on the k-pop daebak spotify playlist. i was totally digging the driving, funky bass guitar and the really lush synths. i went to rewatch the mv just now, and i just realized they’re woollim kids!!!! i used to be a huge inspirit back in the day so that was a lil bit of a pleasant surprise haha. i also LOVE “without you”

why i want to stan i am simply Too Old to be stanning new groups, but i definitely will try to keep up with their title tracks because they’ve got a solid discography going. i also really enjoy the group’s vocal color because of how well they complement each other.

Haikyuu!! Aces Idol!AU

Disclaimer: Once again, my references are from K-pop, than J-pop, since I know more about that. Concepts and songs were by groups I am familiar with.

Note: The members included are those that are considered as the current official aces of their respective teams.

The Members

Iwaizumi Hajime – Hajime is the Leader of the group (despite not being the oldest) and serves as its Main Rapper. He’s also the strongest member, despite being one of the shortest (a fact that he bemoans about; he’s extremely grateful for Tora, because if it weren’t for him, he would’ve been the shortest. He wishes that Tora won’t grow anymore…) He’s a chill leader and is a hard worker. Has a cute obsession with Godzilla and owns some merchandise. He received a fan gift of a stuffed Godzilla and it’s his favorite thing ever.

My idol reference for Iwaizumi is former B.A.P’s Bang Yongguk.

Azumane Asahi – Asahi is the Main Vocal of the group. Is considered by fans to have the best reverse charm among them because he looks the ‘gruffest’, but he’s the most soft-hearted one. In short, he looks like he can kill you but is actually a cinnamon roll. He’s always kind to his fans even though they tease him about the disparity of his looks and his personality. Before debut, they thought he will be the group’s other rapper, but he surprised everyone with his smooth and powerful vocal. He used to be misunderstood because of his look, but he still doesn’t want to give up his beard, despite fans requesting to see him without one. (It’s his charm point, and he doesn’t want to lose it. He makes it up to them by wearing flower crowns whenever they give him one.)

Nu’est’s Baekho is my reference for idol! Asahi.

Ojiro Aran – Ojiro is the Lead Vocal of the group. The actual oldest and the ‘mom’ of the manly bunch. He’s somehow a veteran of audition shows, having been part of at least 3 different ones, but he got better known when he joined an audition show that aimed to produce a boy group. He made it until the finals, but didn’t make it to the final group, so he had to return to the agency and wait for his official debut. He also has his own channel where he shares covers of songs from artists he really admires, sometimes featuring some of his members.

My reference for idol! Ojiro is BIGBANG’s Daesung.

Teradomari Motoki – Tera serves as the Lead Dancer, sub-vocal and sub-rapper of the group. Originally a b-boy, Tera, like Ojiro also joined the aforementioned audition show where he showed his chameleon like talents, because he’s an effective sub-vocal and rapper, but he really shines when he’s dancing. Sadly, he didn’t make the cut after the third elimination, but he had proven his worth by then, and fans ultimately looked forward to the day he would debut with his own group.

Teradomari is based off on former Infinite’s Hoya.

Futakuchi Kenji – Kenji is the group’s Lead Rapper, and is considered by the members as the mood maker. He’s their variety representative because he’s the most ‘game’ one among the members. He’s very playful and quite provocative, and doesn’t fail to get a rise out of his more hot-tempered members (read: Tora and sometimes, Iwaizumi) because of his comments and snark. His fans sometimes are not safe from this, because he teases them as well, but it’s all in good fun.

EXO’s Chanyeol is the idol that fits my vision of idol! Kenji.

Sakusa Kiyoomi – Sakusa is the group’s visual and lends his skills as sub-vocal and occasional sub-rapper of the group. For a germaphobe and someone who hates crowds, it’s a wonder how Sakusa is an idol, but he is. He’s dubbed as the Ice Prince Visual of the Group, because he’s aloof and doesn’t interact much, especially in person. But he makes it up on social media, where he usually writes lengthy notes on the fancafe and is usually active on most social media sites, interacting with fans. He’s very blunt when it comes to his members, especially towards his co-maknaes, Kenji and Tora, much to their annoyance.

Think of EXO’s Sehun mixed with Wanna One’s Guan Lin for Sakusa.

Yamamoto Taketora – Tora completes the maknae line and he’s the Main Dancer of the group. Before debut, he’s a backup dancer for the company’s other boy group, and so he had a fair share of appearances in music videos and live shows. He’s hot-headed and loud, but he’s very passionate about dancing and is always dedicated to honing his skills. He’s really, really good with locking and popping, and most of the powerful dance of the group is choreographed by him, with Tera’s help.

The best reference I have for idol! Tora is Bigflo/UNB’s Euijin.

The Group in General

-       Manliest group that is ever to man, and at one point had been dubbed as the ‘Bad Boy-dols’, but it’s full of members with reverse charms. Like, on stage, they’re badasses. Heck, one look and you’d feel like you have to run away from them because they look that intimidating, but off stage, they’re goofs, shy and easily flustered men.

-       And this is so endearing to their fans, seriously. Even though it confuses them sometimes, but they have long since accepted that this is the group’s charm.

-       They’re also mostly chill? Like most of the members, despite their looks are usually calm and collected.

-       The only exception probably is Tora, but he has his moments. Also Futakuchi, but he only gets annoying when he’s in a teasing mood. But generally, they’re chill.

-       Dorm life is pretty much normal, although it’s sometimes a pain to work around Sakusa’s schedule, because he definitely insisted that he always use the bathroom first. Always. As in non-negotiable, but they’re managing.

-       Room assignments are as follows: Iwaizumi and Asahi, Ojiro and Futakuchi, Teradomari and Yamamoto, and as expected, Sakusa rooms alone.

Concept/s and Songs

-       This group’s concept lean more heavily to hip hop, RnB inspired genre. The best song that I think fits their concept in general is BIGBANG’s Fxxk It.

-       They have powerful songs like B.A.P’s Young, Wild, and Free; Punch; and Hands Up; EXO’s Overdose; Monsta X’s Hero; JBJ’s Fantasy; BTS’ Boys in Luv; NCT U’s Boss

-       But they also have emotional songs like B.A.P’s Save Me and Coma; Block B’s Toy and 11:30

-       They also have songs like BTS’ DNA, Winner’s Everyday and JBJ’s My Flower

-       Other songs: MBLAQ’s It’s War; BIGBANG’s Bad Boy and Blue

-       For some reason, I seriously think they can pull off TVXQ’s Mirotic and EXO’s Ko Ko Bop

And that’s pretty much it.

No Bokuto or Ushijima because they are part of the captain’s group + Kita.

PRODUCE101 – How the perfect boy group would look like

Only one day left, and I literally can’t wait to know who’s gonna make it into Produce 101 Season 2′s final boy group. However, I know that not all of my favorites will make it. To be honest, I wish they would just debut with 20 members –  but that’s not going to happen. But hey... that’s how survival programs work. 

Still... a girl can dream, right? That’s why I’m going to show you which 11 trainees of Produce 101 would form the perfect boy group (in my opinion of course).

For me, a member of a boyband has to fulfill his role. However, these days members of boy and girl groups have much more roles to take than just rapper, dancer, vocalist, leader and face.

THE GORGEOUS FACE:

The face is the one that inherits automatically the center position, which leads to acting as the signature member of the group. A perfect example is Sungjae who is (not the visual but) the face of CUBE’s BtoB.

For me there’s only one that would be able to pull this role of, and it is without any doubt MMO’s Kang Daniel. He has the personality, the charisma, the skills, the sex appeal, the body, the stage presence and of course the face to take over the center position. Yeah... it should be illegal to be this perfect.

THE IDEAL LEADER:

Every bunch of half-crazy boys needs an exemplary leader who is able to keep everything and everyone under control. A popular example would be B1A4′s Jinyoung. 

Assigning this role might be the easiest, right? PLEDIS’ Kim Jonghyun proofed so many times that he’s perfectly capable of motivating and guiding others. No one would make a better leader than him – who already has enough leading experience thanks to NU’EST.

THE ANGEL VOICE:

A boyband without a main vocalist? No way! Every group needs at least one singer that is able to hit high notes and breaks listeners’ hearts with his voice. One of my favorite main vocalists of all time is for example Block B’s Taeil.

Under the last twenty Produce 101 trainees are two I would love see as main vocalists. But there can only be one – and it breaks my heart to make the decision between Starship’s Jung Sewoon and individual trainee Kim Jaehwan. I’ve tried to be as objective as possible, and chose Jaehwan as my dream main vocalist of my dream Produce 101 boy group.

As much as I like Sewoon’s voice and personality, I can’t deny that I prefer Jaehwan's skills a little bit more. His range is incredible, and he would make more than just a solid main vocalist.

THE PASSIONATE DANCER:

If I would be in a girl group, I would definitely be at least lead dancer – yes, we are talking about my usual favorite position. However, in this Produce 101 group we need a main dancer that is able to inspire others with his sick moves like SHINee’s Taemin.

My original dancer pick for the Produce 101 boy group has been someone who already got eliminated (Yes, it was Taehyun). So I decided to go with the sweet and extremely talented Kim Samuel from Brave Entertainment.

You can’t deny it: he’s more than just passionate about dancing. He masters choreographies as easy as freestyle. Yes, this kid got the moves! And that’s why he should be able to dance the shit out of this project. 

THE ANNOYING MAKNAE:

Sometimes all those hyungs need a precious baby boy to take care of. However, this can be quite nerve-wracking since some of our most popular K-Pop maknaes are from time to time wicked brats. The probably most popular example for an annoying and evil maknae is Jungkook from BTS.

After watching last week’s Produce 101 episode, I’ve finally found my perfect maknae. Even though CUBE’s Yoo Seonho is only eleven days younger than Samuel, he has all the – let’s say – qualities to be Produce 101′s ideal maknae.

On stage he tries to be sexy as fuck, but among his hyungs he acts like the cutest little brat that actually annoys the shit out of everyone. All this skin ship, all this bromance... How can Seonho be such a perfect maknae? 

THE FIERCE RAPPER:

Almost every single boyband has its rapper – sometimes even more than just one. There are some extraordinary main rappers that support their group with their insane skills – like iKON’s Bobby.

In Produce 101 Season 2 are many trainees who call themselves rappers. Well, I’ve already mentioned two of them. But my number one should be Brand New Music’s Park Woojin.

Although he took part as a dancer in the position evaluation, he’s still the one I would definitely choose as rapper for this group. His super deep and husky voice combined with his badass expression is what a boy group’s main rapper definitely needs. 

THE PRETTY VISUAL:

I’ve already mentioned it before, but the face isn’t automatically the group’s visual. However, Infinite’s L is actually both. No wonder with that face.

When it comes to my favorite visual member, some of you might disagree with my choice. But this is just my personal preference, so deal with it. Anyway, I think there is not a single trainee that is able to keep up with Choi Minki’s visuals.

He looks more like a fairy than an actual human being. Some of the younger K-Pop fans might not know this, but when NU’EST debuted, the community went completely crazy because of Minki’s aka Ren’s feminine look. And you guys cannot imagine how many hilarious memes were created just because of his absolutely unbelievable pretty face. Yes, he is indeed the perfect visual.

THE HANDSOME GENTLEMAN:

Besides all those usual positions I’ve mentioned, there can be other roles for additional members of a boy group. One of my personal favorites is the respective role of the handsome gentleman. Sometimes this gentleman is someone who is actually a little bit older, and looks freaking hot in a suit – like Yunho from TVXQ.

There’s only one candidate of Produce 101 I can think of as the perfect gentleman – and that’s obviously PLEDIS’ extremely good-looking trainee Hwang Minhyun. 

Besides his fantastic visuals, he’s charming, smart, reliable, talented and hot as hell. If you’re interested why this guy is so sexy, you should read my latest blog post about him.

THE ARROGANT ASSHOLE:

The term asshole is not meant to insult anyone – it means this member is just savage as fuck and doesn’t give a shit about anything or anyone while mentioning all the time how perfect he is. I think I just described Super Junior’s Heechul pretty well.

And come on... you already know who I picked. There’s only one trainee that would fit perfectly for this kind of role – and that’s Fantagio’s Ong Seongwoo.

Like Heechul, we all know that Seongwoo’s just trying to be funny – and it works. Honestly, I can’t imagine the future Produce 101 boy group without Seongwoo. This group needs its sexy asshole. Why? Here’s the detailed explanation if you’re interested.

THE SWEET BAD BOY:

After over a decade of being Hallyu infected, I’ve realized that there are so many boy groups who have a member that appears super bad boy-ish on the outside, but is actually all cotton candy sweet on the inside – like my SF9 bias Zuho.

To complete the PLEDIS family, I obviously chose our sexy bandit Kang Dongho as sweet bad boy – because we all know that he just looks like a wild beast, but is actually the softest and cutest little puppy you’ve ever seen.

I could now tell you why this sexy bad boy is actually the cutest daddy among the Produce 101 trainees. But I already did. Feel free to check it out.

THE DORKY GOOFBALL:

Last but not least, the perfect boy group needs someone who makes everyone laugh. This is usually the member that is – because of his hilarious kind of humor – perfect for variety shows. A wonderful example makes of course ZE:A’s Kwanghee.

And there’s only one that brightens my mood every single time he appears on screen: MMO’s Yoon Jiseong. Some hate him, some love him – I simply adore this honest and emotional human being. However, it is a matter of fact that he is number one pick among your favorite Produce 101 trainees. They want him in the group, I want him in the group. Just deal with it!

Besides being number one pick, he’s the oldest trainee right now. And yes, he should debut to give old bitches like me the opportunity to stop finally creeping on baby idols.

With Kang Daniel, Kim Jonghyun, Kim Jaehwan, Kim Samuel, Yoo Seonho, Park Woojin, Choi Minki, Hwang Minhyun, Ong Seongwoo, Kang Dongho and Yoon Jiseong, Mnet would form the perfect boy group – for me.

Countless of you might think – Where the hell is Daehwi? What did you do to Jinyoung? And why the fuck is Jihoon not on this list?

Please, look at most of Produce 101′s trainees. A cute concept with this group wouldn’t work. There are way too many manly, sexy and older contestants. Although I really really like them – in my opinion, there is no place for someone like Daehwi or Jihoon or any other trainee that looks like grade schoolers.

Maybe I’m a little bit biased because I’m way older than any of these guys. Yeah, it kinda sucks to be in this community for so long. Idols get younger, and the groups you – let’s say – grew up with, start to disband one after another. That’s not a joke. I’ve experienced Music Bank live once. And the only girlband I’ve seen there that hasn’t disbanded yet is SNSD.

So yes... I want these eleven boys to debut together. BUT IT WON’T HAPPEN! Because the majority of votes comes from teens who prefer a cute and pretty image over fucking sex appeal and charisma. And that’s okay! You can’t make it right for every single one out there.

I just want to let you guys know that I am really looking forward to this future boy group – although there won’t be all of my favorites. And I can’t wait to watch tomorrow’s final episode. 

Prepare some tissues, ladies! We are going to cry rivers!

I didn’t buy any kpop albums until lately so NCT127′s Cherry Bomb, NCT DREAM’s We Young and EXO’s The War. Would definitely like to own more of EXO’s future albums. Once Bigbang, IKON and WINNER come back with full albums I would like to get them too.

Since I was 10/11..? So probably around 2011.

Wow this is difficult... I definitely do not suit the girl groups’ girly concepts because I am definitely not girly. I would say something more neutral like AKMU’s (?)

2.  If you could be in any group regardless of their concept, male or female, which would you choose?

I would say NCT because the members are great, but I would choose EXO or GOT7. EXO has individuals of diverse talents, and I would definitely be extremely honoured to be able to work with them in different aspects. GOT7 because hahah they are cool I think I would definitely enjoy being with them. No girl groups atm because most of them have girly concepts :-( Would say BlackPink but I don’t know them well...

3.  What is your favourite childhood memory?

Eh. . . Maybe those days when you barely had anything to mull over, to live life freely and happily. Okay maybe the times when I was younger and I would always go to the windows and look out in the evening, just observing the world and savouring the night scene and smell.

4.  If you met your ultimate bias and could only say ONE sentence to them, what would you say?

I don’t have an ultimate bias but I’ll give a sentence for each member that I like a lotto.

Nah, I have respect for my idols so I’ll just do my job and get out. If I accidentally see something that I shouldn’t have, I would tell the members after they have come back or leave a note with an apology.

To Britain or Canada! Well they speak English as a main medium in both countries, so it’s definitely easier and more comfortable for me. I’m just fascinated by the rich history and culture of both countries, so I would love visiting them both. 

Would also like to visit Greece because I used to love reading about Greek mythology as a child and I would want to learn more about them.

1) Who is your favorite girl group?

Tough question. I used to love 4minute and 2ne1 but if we’re talking about active groups then it’d be either GFriend, Blackpink or Mamamoo. Dreamcatcher is slowly going up my list too, I really like their style.

2) Who is your favorite boy group?

B.A.P. I just love them and their work so much, all their songs are perfectly crafted in every way, and they’re so lovely, hardworking and talented. They’ve been through so much but they fought together and are still trying, I really admire them.

3) Are there any choreographies that you love the most (from any group)?

I have to answer B.A.P again. I just love their choreographies, I think they’re so complex and well executed. I particularly love Power and One Shot but all of them are amazing, really. There are other incredibly talented groups I love too: GFriend, SHINee, Infinite and BTS, to name a few.

4) Do you prefer when groups release hype songs or when they release chill songs?

Normally I like hype songs better, there are some ballads I love but they’re usually my least favorite songs in an album.

5) What was your favorite debut song (from any group)?

I don’t want to turn this into a B.A.P biased meme buuut I love Warrior lol, I’m not a big fan of the all-blond style but I really love the song and the choreo. My other favorite debut song is Fanfare by SF9, I fell so hard for it, had it on repeat for days.

6) Are there any groups you wish that were not underrated/would get more recognition?

I’m going to write a lengthy answer for this and it might not even make any sense so I apologize in advance lol.

I try not to think too much about this because it’s dangerously close to what I personally consider “bad fan-etiquette”. Doesn’t matter how much someone screams underrated, it’s always a biased opinion. A specific group might be the best thing on earth for me but it doesn’t have to be for the rest of the people, everybody has their own taste and their criteria of what’s important in a group. Not only there’s no real way to objectively rank idols based on how good they are or how popular they deserve to be, but I feel like it shouldn’t matter much anyway. I know there’s a limit of how “nugu” a group can be before they disappear so we all worry and fight hard to make sure our groups are known, but as long as they get by well enough to survive I don’t care too much about awards and number of views or stans. Sadly, that’s not really how you measure talent or professionality (even if some people like think so), let alone how lovely or hardworking they are. And sometimes talent isn’t even relevant, in my opinion, sometimes you just like a group simply because you do and you’re perfectly entitled to. I don’t like forcing anything on anybody and I don’t like putting value where it doesn’t belong.

Stuffy rant said (sorry for that, it’s a topic I’m somewhat passionate about and I couldn’t help it lol), I’m going to answer this question anyway. I personally wish B.A.P and Monsta X had more recognition, in my very biased opinion. B.A.P was on a really good path before everything went to hell because of the lawsuit issue, and I think it’s really unfair because they were brave enough to fight back and they ended up being punished for it. And Monsta X is doing so well and they’re so good but they still haven’t won anything and they think it’s their fault, so it’s frustrating. But there’s nothing I can really do about it besides “doing my part” and buying/streaming/recommending them when asked, so why complain about it.

7) Do you choose your biases or do your biases choose you?

They choose me. I always try to choose and stick to it but it’s inevitable, they come for me hahaha. When I get into a new group I choose the cutest member and go with it, but then I get to know them and usually someone else does something that makes me go ‘who are you and where have you been all my life’.

8) What’s the first Kpop song you heard?

Fantastic Baby by BIGBANG.

9) What made you fall in love with Kpop?

I just love the aesthetics and how professional they are. I was in awe, the way they train for this and how hard they work for every single comeback after they debut. They have to sacrifice so much to become idols, they spend so many uncertain years trying to debut without even knowing if they ever will – and when they do, it’s not like everything is done and they’re going to live in luxury the way popular Western artists do. Being an idol is really hard and the competition is brutal, you never know how long you’re going to be up. It’s amazing, you don’t see this kind of commitment and professionality around here, in my opinion.

10) Do you have an merchandise of your favorite groups?

I do! I’m very picky when it comes to merch but I own several t-shirts/hoodies, lightsticks, photocards and some other goodies.

11) Do you have any song or group recommendations?

You seem to have a very nice taste! I feel like you’re going to know everybody I mention. I saw you just got into SF9, Pentagon and 24K. Do you know MVP? They debuted recently and I love their stuff so far! I also got into Victon recently thanks to Eyez Eyez.

1) Favorite kpop music video?

Aw man, how am I supposed to choose. I’m going to say B.A.P again, sorry. I love Skydive, 1004 (Angel) and Wake me up, such good videos. I love VIXX’s mvs as well, they’re always so dark and dramatic. I love EXO’s Monster, Monsta X’s All in and BTS’ Run too. I can’t really choose one hahaha.

2) Favorite girl group dance practice?

I love 2ne1 and GFriend’s dance practices. 

3) Favorite boy group dance practice?

Monster by EXO. It’s so artistic, I love it.

4) Who’s your ultimate bias and why?

My ult bias is Bang Yong Guk from B.A.P. Where do I even start. I feel like we’re very similar, he looks introverted and quiet and someone who is very active inside his mind, but who is also funny, quirky and sassy. I feel like I’d feel really comfortable around him. I don’t know how to explain it, he seems to have a nice and calm aura and I feel so at ease with such people (introverted things lol). He’s really smart and socially aware, he doesn’t speak much but every time he does he says the right thing. He’s such a good caretaker, all the boys love him and respect him SO much, I feel like it says a lot about him and how he makes people close to him feel. He’s an amazing person as well, he does so much for other people and gives so much to charity, I feel like we don’t even know half of it but it’s already impressive. He’s so incredibly talented too, he plays such an active part in the creation of their songs and they are always so good (and so is the rest of the work he does under his known pseudonym.) I could go on forever but I won’t do that to you lol basically, he’s an incredibly amazing and gorgeous human being, an amazing leader and a talented artist.

5) Who’s your ultimate bias wrecker?

Most of the people I stan, really. I just love everybody so much, they move up and down on the messy list all the time. They’re all amazing. I guess I’d say the rest of B.A.P if I had to choose, specially Youngjae.

6) Have you ever seen a kpop group live/been to kcon?

I have! I went to KCON LA 2016 and I’ve also seen EXO, GOT7, SHINee, Red Velvet, AOA, FT Island, Tiger JK and Dean live. Amazing experiences, all of them. I’m really hoping they’ll do a KCON in Europe this year.

7) Is there a group you want to see live?

B.A.P! They’re coming to Europe next month but nowhere near me and I can’t take the time to travel far because of work (all the dates are weekdays, WHYYY). I’ve already seen Monsta X and GFriend at KCON but I’d love to go a solo concert, that’d be lovely. I’d love to see BIGBANG, VIXX, BTS (if it’s in a seat far away from the rest of fans), Mamamoo, Highlight and Block B too. Who am I kidding, I’d love to see everybody I stan lol.

8) What was your favorite comeback of 2017 so far?

B.A.P, of course hahaha. I’ve loved many comebacks and debuts actually, obviously Highlight’s “debut” is a close second but I also really liked GOT7, Winner, Day6, Victon, SF9, Teen Top, IMFACT, BTS, CLC, AOA and CNBlue. If we’re talking about debuts, I really liked Dreamcatcher, MVP, Seven O’Clock, Black6ix and UNIT BLACK. I’m probably forgetting a couple debuts/comebacks I loved lol.

9) What upcoming comeback are you looking forward to?

Highlight’s Junhyung is making a solo comeback soon and I’m super excited about it! He’s my BEAST/Highlight bias, and I love his work and rapping style. I’m high key excited about Triple H’s debut too, I love Hyuna and Pentagon so I’m looking forward to see what they come up with!

10) Is there a group that you know of that you want to get into?

I have what I call my “side-children”, it’s basically groups I check out when they come back and occasionally see on my dash but I don’t actively follow. I’d like to get more into them, I don’t know much beyond the music and I wish I did. Groups like KNK, IMFACT, B1A4, 24K or Brave Girls, among others.

11) What’s your favorite kind of album concept? (royalty, cute, gang, elegant, sexy, etc.)

I usually like any concept as long as it’s well done and it fits the group, but I’m not very into cute concepts. I tend to favor dark and aggressive concepts best but I don’t have a favorite, I’m in for anything if they can pull it off successfully.

I didn’t give you straight answers, I’m sorry hahahaha. I just love so many groups, it’s really hard to only choose one. I really tried to keep it small, I swear.

hello! i've been following you for awhile and i noticed that you're a fan of k-pop. if it's not a bother, can you recommend me some of your favorite bands? (i'm open to any type of music style) i'm new to the fandom so i don't know very much haha. thanks!

Hi! Sorry I took so long to answer this, but yeah of course I would love to recommend to you a few of my favourite groups!! (I have too many favourites lmao sorry this is long)

Bangtan Boys (BTS):- they’re my favourite group, and I really recommend listening to I NEED U, RUN, FIRE, Save Me and their most recent song which is Blood, Sweat and Tears. Some personal favourites of mine to listen to are Cypher Part 3 and Cypher Part 4, Boys With Fun, War of Hormone and Boy In Luv.

Seventeen:- they’re the first group I got into, but my fave songs are generally their title songs so: Adore U, Mansae, Pretty U, Very Nice and most recently Boom Boom. Also on their newest EP I really love the songs Highlight and Fast Pace.

GOT7:- great band and so so so funny I got into them because I really liked their songs Just Right and If You Do and this year they released Fly and Hard Carry and those were amazing as well. From their old stuff I really like A and Stop Stop It even though it’s cringey af. Their Japanese song Yo Moriagette Yo is amazing and from their Flight Log: Departure album I really, really love Can’t and Something Good.

VIXX:- kings of all the different and dark concepts, I’m a fan of literally anything they do tbh, but here are my favourites: On and On, G.R.8.U, VOODOO DOLL, Error, Chained Up (ult fave its so goood), Fantasy and their most recent song The Closer is really really awesome too.

Akdong Musician:- brother sister duo literal faves reccommend: 200%, Give Love, Melted, How People Move, Re-Bye, Haughty Girl and On the Subway. They just released their new album today too heeh

MAMAMOO:- amazing girl group and amazing vocals tbh. My favourite songs are You’re the Best, DAB DAB and Decalcomanie.

Other groups you should look at whom I really love: MONSTA X, B.A.P, SHINee, INFINITE, NCT (all their subunits), BLOCK B, EXO, ASTRO, BLACKPINK, TWICE, Red Velvet, WINNER and BIGBANG.
