Peach claims that crushed dead animals are more privileged in the afterlife. Peach's self-pity from the things she didn't do and others succeeding wherever she fails can get the better of her sometimes. In the war, Peach got into a fight with Heliodor AKA Dory, one of the Homeworld Gems. As they fought, Heliodor discreetly asked Peach why the latter was fighting against the Homeworld Gems. Peach’s answer was to protect Earth and all its living creatures from being destroyed by the plans of the Homeworld Gems.

While the two continued their fight, Heliodor shared a plan with Peach that would allow the former leave the war. Peach suggested to Heliodor that they could both pay visits to the battlefield they battled on after The Rebellion ended until they met again and Heliodor agreed.

Heliodor absorbed lots of solar energy and allowed Peach to strike her. Peach’s attack sent Heliodor flying and upon landing between the Homeworld and Crystal Gems, the latter released a giant and bright beam skyward. While all the Gems were temporarily blinded, Heliodor shape-shifted into a bird and flew away, leaving the rest of the Gems to fight.

At some point, Peach became a large wolf-like monster after getting corrupted...

Abilities:

Peach can summon a large and sharp crescent-shaped boomerang, the Crescent Boomerang, from her gemstone. Apart from throwing it before it returns to her, she can use it as a sword. The Crescent Boomerang can be charged before being thrown to become faster and stronger.

Apart from her Crescent Boomerang, Peach can fight with other kinds of blade weapons thanks to her keen swordplay.

She can use hydrokinesis and cryokinesis, is immune to extreme cold and can breathe underwater.

She can absorb moonlight only during night-time to heal her gem if it’s cracked and her own injuries as long as they’re not too severe but she has to be standing still in order to do those things.

Whenever the moon is full, Peach is able to become a werewolf, enhancing her strength, speed, jumping, smelling and hearing while gaining a supersonic howl.

Lunarrier: Peach absorbs moonlight to create force-fields that can block attacks and reflect projectiles. If spawned just before an enemy’s up-close attack lands, the enemy will receive damage and knockback proportionate to that of their attack.

Blurring Blade: A series of very fast stabs with her Crescent Boomerang before finishing off with a decisive lunge that has high knockback. It can be charged to deal extra damage.

Moonerang: Peach throws her Crescent Boomerang which returns to her afterwards. She can also aim it up or down. It can be charged to become faster and stronger.

Crescent Squall: After storing enough energy into her Crescent Boomerang, Peach holds it up to fire a quick succession of large crescent-shaped beams from it that follow a wide path and can be angled up and down.

Weakness(es):

Vulnerability to lightning and gravity-based attacks.

I think the sketch of Peach has more personality than the line and color, but here are two of my Gem OCS! Red Topaz and Peach Pearl. Red Topaz is a runt who isn’t suited for traditional Topaz work, so she works at the Purple Salon along with a bunch of Pearls (including Peach, who resents that Topaz does so well considering she doesn’t really belong).

The Purple Salon is a holding place for high-seated gem’s Pearls (on a ship much like The Zoo). It’s mostly for when gems go to war on different planets, when Pearls are orphaned for being incompetent/their owner is shattered, or when they’re defective in some way that makes it impossible for them to be owned (the salon is derogitorally called The Orphanage by some gems). At the salon any high seated gem can go for refreshment/recovery in times of conflict, and sometimes get a preowned Pearl for a cheap price. 

These are (obviously) versions of them from before the war on earth (I don’t think Red Topaz would have been allowed if we were talking post-Pink shattering), but I plan on showing more of them soon.

I got the idea for this artwork of two of my Steven Universe Gem OCs, Heliodor (facing backwards) and Peach Moonstone (facing frontwards), last year after the mass terrorist shooting at Pulse, which was a gay nightclub in Orlando, Florida.
