i need my brain to be normal about awkward interactions for like 5 seconds so i can sleep
#aaaaaaaaaaaaaaa#'was i a dick when i corrected my order to the barista or did she just get snippy with me'#i literally said 'oh are there any cinnamon buns left? - oh cool i'll have one of them too please'#and got a pump of cinnamon bun syrup in my coffee ??? and when i said that afterward she got weird with me#i didnt even know cinnamon bun syrup was a thing but it sounds nasty lol#my divine punishment for not just walking to caffe nero and dithering about like a lost puppy#today was full of junky interactions like this snd each one of them wound me up but this was one of the worst#that and being awkward saying the goodbye and good luck to the bloke ive been living with bc it was his last day at the company#SIGHS its gonna be weird now without him about#he was like ... an island of sanity in the sea of working an infrastructure job lol#rory's ramblings
