When people ask me what is my religion and I simply don't know because...I don't know and they keep pressing but how come you don't know they say and then give me a list of religions and I'm like no I'm not any of those I don't know maybe I don't have any and then they say so you're an atheist and I reply no I'm not that either and then they bring up another list of things and I'm still like no I haven't ever heard of half of those tbh and they keep questioning so I just say my mother prays sometimes??? And they mention a religion and again it's definitely not that and that's her not me but I really don't know the difference so I just nod and they finally leave me alone

#why is people so nosy about that honestly and why they get so offended if you just don't know #one funny thing to it's because my country the majority of people are catholic then most assume you are too #but I'm not even baptized never been to mass my mom sent letters to school asking them not to give me religious education #I just learned the holy spirit is a bird like two months ago #my dad joined like 2 different cults while being drunk apparently??? and immediately left them when sober #i remember because sometimes they came to the house looking for him so he sent me or my siblings to give them an excuse while he hid 🤣#two of my siblings are actually babtized catholic tho because their friends were #and they were jealous they were getting money at the first communion I think so my parents were like sure if you want to #i have no memories of that one tho because those 2 are 15 and 14 years older than me so i wasn't born yet #but the thing is I was never raised or educated in any specific way I think 🤔#bun.says
