literallyyy everything you said about how easily clamp treats all the heinous shit they add in a show for literal 10 YEAR OLDS like its nothing is so true 😭 i remember watching this show with my little sister was a nightmare because of how much times i had to lie to her and say that the cousin and teacher-student relationships were translation errors and go "hey whats that over there" so i could skip the weird scenes while she wasnt looking 😭😭 and that genuinely changed nothing in the series if anything it made it more enjoyable . so like what was even the point of adding that in </3

Oh yeesh yeah I'm glad I'm not watching this with a little sibling that would be such a mess 💀 and yeah for real both of those things are like, just there and not integral to the plot at all. If Sakura's mother wasn't a teen bride and Li's fiance wasn't his cousin the plot would be the same and we wouldn't have to white knuckle thru every other episode lmao
