#egggghhhh just spent like 15 minutes drafting a succinct friendly reply to someones discourse post#on whether or not youre ...'allowed'? to dress goth without being like a diehard goth music fan#i was trying to explain theres really kind of a 'goth music' culture and a 'goth fashion' culture that have somewhat grown parallel#and one can participate in one without participating in the other#but. then i looked at their profile#and they had gone on to make a bunch of other posts about it in quick succession#which were insulting and dismissive of anyone who had a differing opinion#and i thought 'you know what? never mind <3'#my clown ass does not need to be commenting on annoying discourse from literally 2 months ago like i thought we were past that
