The amount of parents who think it’s normal to track the location of their adult children in real time just because they’re on a family phone plan or smth is genuinely disturbing.

#those apps have gone from safety / emergency tool to just means of control #if your relationship is so bad you gotta secretly track them rather than call this isn’t helping #and when it’s without consent it’s so #my whole family saves money if we bundle with a family plan but I’m like forget it #idc if you pay for the phone while they are still in school #my aunt still tracks her 29 year old son on T-Mobile app without his knowledge after he turned off his location
