The joy i get drawing my ocs as mlp villains is immense LMAO

helluva boss is the kind of show that i keep up with religiously but have so many critiques to the point that i cant say im a fan. ive been wanting to do redesigns/rewrites since s2 went downhill so consider this the start of an ongoing project for me as a writing and character design exercise. with the imp cast i wanted to maintain the sanctity of the original designs while simplifying them (with a focus on telling the viewer who they are through my design choices). as far as rewrites, here’s what i have for the main three:

BLITZØ: a failed standup comedian turned hitman, blitzø was born into a circus family. he became one of the first imp entrepreneurs with his murder business. he refuses to acknowledge his past as he forges a found family in his company.

MOXXIE: raised in a mob family with dreams of showbizz, moxxie ran away from the ring of greed to pursue his dreams in the big city (pride). after years of taking odd jobs, he is saved from being mugged by a wannabe assassin from wrath named millie who would go on to become his wife.

MILLIE: the oldest sibling to many, yet still somehow the shortest, millie always had to work twice as hard to be taken seriously. she left the ring of wrath to find herself with the support of her family, but she could tell they always resented her leaving. five years later, she finds herself happily married yet living paycheck to paycheck. that is until she and her husband are recruited by a strange, local imp to start a killing business.
