Huge geopolitical news coming out of the United States right now!!!!!!

On November 30, 2022, the U.S. president issued a Memorandum on Uniform Standards for Tribal Consultation. It reads, in part:

“The United States has a unique, legally affirmed Nation-to-Nation relationship with American Indian and Alaska Native Tribal Nations, which is recognized under the Constitution of the United States, treaties, statutes, Executive Orders, and court decisions. The United States recognizes the right of Tribal governments to self-govern and supports Tribal sovereignty and self-determination.”

Recognition of a Nation-to-Nation relationship is enormous for Tribal Nations, the United States in general, and also globally.

I did not expect this today but I am so excited.
