Ouryuu Zeno (yellow dragon), Zeno was once a priest, he took blood from a dragon and became a 'dragon warrior'. Zeno agreed to accept the dragon's blood to help King Hiyuu defeat the human rebellion. Hiryuu was a red dragon who took the form of a human because he loved them so much, even after their betrayal he still loved them and refused to return to the heavens. The dragons didn't want to lose him either, so they gave their blood and four excellent people drank the dragons's blood.

Zeno is my most beloved dragon of all! He gained immortality, his body was like steel, but before that he had to be wounded, pierced, his legs/arms and head cut off, which regrew to activate the dragon's power. He gained immortality in the process. He lost his beloved brothers and got married. Zeno was briefly happy with his wife, who died because she had a terminal illness. He… lay beside her for a long time… did not leave her for a long time, then traveled aimlessly, saw wars begin, saw many deaths, although he could not die himself. He saw how the generation of dragon warriors was treated,and he understood how he was to die. Hiryuu's Yona reincarnation was his salvation, but not before he took with him new brothers who had reached their limit.

When they tried to stop him. He said it.

He wanted to end his suffering as well as the dragons'. I can't accuse him for anything because he went through hell, everyone he loved died and the same would happen to Yona, Haku and their new dragon brothers. They would die and he would stay. He simply couldn't stand it once again and decided to take action. I can't blame him! I CAN'T, even if my heart breaks for what Jeaha, Kija, Shin Ah, Haku and Yona did. I love them all, I hate to see them suffer, but I will side with Zeno here,and I'm not going to blame him for anything. If it was to help him die and be reunited with his brothers and wife and stop suffering and losing everyone he loves, my heart goes out to him, but I'm also with Yona and Haku.

Zeno didn't even use their names because there would be no point in being attached to them, knowing that he would allow himself to be hurt again and condemn himself and the dragon generation to more suffering that they experienced from humans (except Kija), he was extremely lucky.

You know who else I can't blame? he does bad deeds,fights against fate for a girl who loves and wants to protect her and his brother! Although he has proven many times that killing the supernatural is the right thing, he cannot leave and suffers for 50 years, not 2,000 like Zeno. But he also has his reasons and he keeps fighting even though he fails all the time.

Although it is unknown why Amane does this. It's no secret that he would do it to make Tsukasa protect. Just like Zeno,Amane in order to save nene's life, he was ready to be one of the half-guilty sacrifices for her friend. He agreed to fulfill her wish, knowing what she had to do. Just like he imprisoned her in a perfect arc to protect her so she could live in this fictional world. he killed his brother for some reason, but wanting to protect him, he went with him and protected him all the time, which he also admitted. Both are desperate to the point that they are willing to risk everything for the people they love, to help end suffering in a truly extreme way or to save the life of the person they love.

I can't blame them for their actions and I won't.

With Zeno it's harder for me to go through this because I love Jeaha, Shinha, Zeno, Yona and Haku. And their hurt and pain hurts me, but I understand Zeno and I'm not really going to blame him for anything. Likewise, I'm not going to blame Amane. They do what they want and how they want so that they can finish and save what is important to them even if it is bad and extremely painful! I understand THEM! and I'm on THEIR SIDE! But I also hope that Yona and Haku will find a way to save them! Just like I hope Amane will stop and get to Tsukasa. Even if I know what they are doing is wrong, I will support them and I will be on their side and I will not criticize any of them!

Thank you so much anon! I'm back now! ^^ (hopefully) and I'll use this as my announcement. Summary: Thank you's and apologies, life updates, plans for this blog. To everyone who has supported this blog, and to those who may have been waiting for years after I went on hiatus, and maybe even up til now, I want to say thank you so much for your support and expectations, I'm back. Because I'm still a student, I really want to make sure that the way I treat this blog will be sustainable in the long run, so it will take some time for me to get the rest of my asks out and the askbox open again. I am now studying literature, language, and writing full-time now, and I couldn't help but think about this blog from time to time in my time away. I've been staying on top of akayona updates, and things seem dire so far, don't they? I hope I can start bringing some comfort for that again soon, and even better quality content. That being said, I am also worrying about work and finances now, and have enabled tips for this blog. Please feel free to leave a tip if you feel like it, I'll really appreciate it! Otherwise, your comments and kind words have and will always be more than enough to keep me going. Because I'm studying things like this (writing, reading, etc) full time now, I've been thinking about opening commissions. I'm completely new to that so I'll probably stick to tips for now. In other news though, I'm also thinking about expanding this blog to be multifandom, but so far, really, I only have one other fandom in mind that I want to write for, so basically, I have plans for this blog to write for 2 fandoms (Akatsuki no Yona and Tsukino Productions), and was wondering if you'll still support me in that endeavour. Even if I do decide to do so, it will take a while setting things up, so sorry about how messy/hard to find things will be. Always feel free to ask me about anything, including for where your favourite work might be. I'll try making a masterlist and various posts to organize and make things easier! With that all said, I'm so so sorry for the long wait, and I apologize for the even longer wait, but I am hoping to get my asks out soon in the meantime! Sen actually posting art no way??? I wanted to post the Keishuk doodle I had from 2021 cuz I might as well start posting them. You can tell it's my old art because I started using weighted inky brushes instead from 2022 onwards

Keishuk and Suwon are my fave AkaYona characters. I like drawing chibis to test the waters when I’m first drawing my faves cuz it helps to simplify their designs and identify the main shapes.

Keishuk is neat tbh. Serious stoic aloof boy with cat energy and gap moe... Keishuk asserts himself as the doting big brother of the Coup Crew

I think it's cute how he takes care of his duties in his own way. His (=-=) expressions, his dialogue, everything... He's so entertaining omg and his design is so pretty

I love how my recent faves are just Knife Cat Adjacent. I love them so much. Anime Keishuk gives me more knife cat energy but his smirk in Ch. 160 is just. Prime Knife Cat Energy. He makes cute scrunchy faces.

Aloof and stoic, emotionally repressed, quiet, ambitious and serious... I enjoy characters who are calm and stoic pragmatists who's been downtrodden and now turned pessimist due to circumstances outside of their control

It's so funny because Keishuk isn't an evil advisor at all, he's just a Guy LMAO. A guy with a job and priorities

I thought about these words. I thought of an 18-year-old character from another series who gets so much attention from girls and boys.

minamoto teru's a narcissist bordering on psychopathy.he thinks he's 'beauty' and loves to kill, everything works out. And it honestly amuses me that this narcissist thinks of himself as a "beauty thing" which is not surprising in a narcissist. When in fact he is a loser. He loves attention and evokes it in force. Which I think is pathetic that he has to stroke his already high ego.

Name: Hak Age 18 He is not interested in attention, nor does he need to attract the attention of girls or men, it just happens. He doesn't have to do anything. He has been through a deep betrayal and he truly cares about the person who was truly dear to him, despite such a nasty betrayal. He cared about that person health, despite the pain he felt. Tsukasa is op and so is he. Hak would make a bloodstain on the minamoto in a second. There would literally be nothing left of teru . He loves his girlfriend and family and is ready to sacrifice his life for theirs. He is not a sadist, he is a warm guy with a heart of gold and personality.

Go hide minamoto in the closet or in the room under the covers. You are and have been a pathetic piece of trash.

akayona has completely shattered my heart in every way possible. from the dragon gods wanting to take yona away from earth to watching the current dragons we love struggle to survive. zeno, kija, jaeha, and shinah are willing to lose everything just to bring yona back to earth, while yona is willing to do the same.

in each new chapter, we watch their love and devotion to one another be tested. there is always an obstacle that threatens to tear apart their family, and each character is putting their life on the line to save one another.

chapter 267 finally brought back hakyona but in the worst way, i could ever imagine. they have been separated with no way to communicate; they have no way to know if the other is alive or not. but right when it looks like yona is able to reach hak's hand, the dragon gods come in to threaten his life.

i have no idea how this series will end, but if anything were to happen to hak in the next chapter, i would feel sick to my stomach. hak and yoon have been on earth with no way to help the dragons and yona, completely isolated from the rest of their family. i can't imagine how helpless they are feeling at this moment.

all i hope for in the next chapter is that hak is safe and yona can return to earth. hakyona's relationship is one of my favorite ships ever created, and i just hope that we can see them back together again, along with their dragon brothers <3

hm. i apparently have an unpopular opinion about yona’s decision during her conversation with hiryuu…… like. obviously she’s motivated by the desire to save her friends—she loves them and cares about them deeply and is scared of losing them—and there’s some selfishness in that (on a more facetious note though, god forbid teenage girls do anything i guess…). but the interpretation of her decision as selfish to the point of cruelty and/or naïveté just doesn’t sit right with me. like there is no solution to the conundrum she was presented with that doesn’t involve tragedy. and i’m never, ever letting anyone forget that jaeha, gija, and sinha were never given a choice regarding zeno’s whole murder-suicide plan, and they don’t regret being alive, so wouldn’t changing the past and effectively erasing them from existence (when they already have no agency atm!!!!) be so much more cruel? wouldn’t discarding two millennia worth of lives, regardless of how painful they’d been, be so much more cruel? does a life lived not matter because there was suffering?

and yona values life, even when it hurts, so she was never gonna make a different choice, and i just don't think that that's extremely selfish or naïve of her; the dragon warriors are not just vessels for the gods, they're people, and they don't deserve to be erased because the gods don't care about the pain they cause, and she can't confront the gods in the dream realm, she has to do it in her present which can't exist if she changes it! (also on a purely narrative level, any other choice would've basically rendered 40+ volumes of the story pointless.) and besides, it's more interesting to focus on trying to make things better rather than rewriting the past, and she'll have to sacrifice something to save everyone (the part of her that's a reincarnation of hiryuu, obviously, and possibly something more) which will even things out anyway.
