#my 2024 word count was sitting at 99991 words

I’m going to get sappy and sentimental for a moment, so stay with me here.

On September 21, 2023 I posted my first fic after 18 months of not writing. I didn’t really think anyone would want to read it (especially bc I am emotionally bonded to s12 and still haven’t moved on), but people read it and loved it and I realised just how much I missed it.

Since then I’ve published at least once per calendar month, and my published word count is sitting at over 130 THOUSAND words in the year since, with 101K published in 2024 so far. I never thought I’d be able to write that much or be so consistent with my writing and posting. And I couldn’t have done it without the support of people here. I could never take this little community for granted. I owe it some of the greatest friendships in my life.

It’s now September 21, 2024. I can’t wait for another fucking incredible year.
