hey guys. guess who’s back?

sorry that i was kind of a mess during the last... well, week. i’m writing this now to make up for that incoherent mess of a post from a while ago, as... well, it’s just a jumbled mess. i swear i’m more consistent and OK than i make myself to be. (hahaha)

anyways, my name’s farren/juliet/gray, and im an 18 year old college student! aiming for a (forensic) chemistry major and a computer science minor, but eh, who knows. i use they/he/her pronouns. i’m in est (gmt - 5), but i’ll always be awake at some ungodly hour as usual. 

i also take sprite commissions, so feel free to hit me up if you need some!

i’ll be playing katsunosuke matsubayashi, the shsl ikebana artist! i usually call him grandpa kevin, but i’ll try to not step on someone else’s ground. katsu’s my go-to shortened version. he looks like this:

what else... oh! i’ve been in a lot of dr oc games, so there’s a huge chance that you’ve probably bumped into me at some point. or not, who knows. some of the characters that i’ve roleplayed are:

“would my oc know katsunosuke?”

surprisingly yes, and in two different ways!

if they’ve been on the internet for a while, that’s one way someone could know of him. not because he goes on the internet to say the least, but because he’s kind of like... well, to put it into a weird way, kind of a ‘ridiculously photogenic guy’ case. except, he was seen on a live television broadcast as he was finishing his arrangements for a wedding for a celebrity couple (as well as bumping into the camera by accident. the internet kind of exploded with questions of ‘who IS HE’ and things of that nature. 

just think of the whole ‘ridiculously photogenic guy’ and that’s katsunosuke in a nutshell.

it kind of hit it’s peak when, after being asked over and over, the celebrities from the wedding that katsunosuke was spotted on gave out his name as the one who made the arrangements, and people tried to contact him outside of business. it doesn’t really work and he avoids all contact that doesn’t consist of flower arrangement orders, and things of that nature. however, there is an interview with him, but it’s barely 5 minutes.

if your oc would watch that, let me know so i can tell you the video deets because it’s kind of just... well, eh.

the second way that you could somewhat know him is if you oc is into ikebana, and attends showcases of ikebana artwork. (maybe even... submit to some?) the matsubayashis host many showcases of ikebana artwork from a variety of individuals to promote-- or well, continue to have people interested in ikebana. it’s kind of cool in theory, really. unfortunately its not really big to katsunosuke so its just a fun family fact.

katsunosuke’s often attending these exhibits for funsies, so hell if your oc goes to one of the ikebana showcases that the matsubayashis hold like... twice per year, there’s totally a chance that your oc could have bumped into him. fun little thing. though aside from that, katsunosuke’s ikebana pieces are in it with credit to his name.

so to summarize: it’s probably more than likely unless your oc doesn’t use the internet and isn’t interested in ikebana at all.

“where the fuck does he live”

on the oki islands. i’m not joking. he has an accent that comes from it. he tries to hide it but it’s really hard.

“can i ship with him”

sure! katsunosuke is a fairly shippable guy, but i’d like to discuss it if it ever comes up. his standards are just... if you like flowers and if you’re a nice person, then that’s already really great in his book. yeah.
