I have been using zD&T for a few years now and love it. zD&T is software from IBM that provides a full z/OS system running on your favourite Linux x86 system. It has a z Instruction Set Architecture (zISA) emulator in it, z/OS, middleware, and tools bundled together to let you run your own generic z/OS system.
