REVIEW | "Mission: Yozakura Family" - Volume Fourteen | B3crew.com

It appears that Hitsuji Gondaira is taking what I said in my last Mission: Yokazura Family review to heart. Okay, maybe not literally, but it’s a nice little coincidence. For a while, I’ve felt the side stories had been more entertaining than the main storyline of this Shonen Jump series. But now, Gondaira has seemingly found a way to make his manga’s plot all the more interesting. His solution: trick the readers into thinking they’re reading another wacky side story.

And doggone it, Gondaira succeeded in the fourteenth volume of Mission: Yozakura Family! At first, it seems like readers will be in for another collection of fun tales, starting with a good ole family movie night. Everyone shows their tastes, with nary a surprise in the bunch. (Kengo steals the show by showing a legit X-rated movie!) But it ends with a nice note about how Taiyo and Mutsumi are seeking a happy ending to their life in film, something that’s sure to be tough when so many organizations have painted a bullseye on the family.

Could I request a scenario (or headcanons, whatever you prefer) for Hachioji confessing to his crush who’s already his friend and is a chubby girl who can’t do sports herself but goes to all his games? (Thank you so much, your content is A+ I love all of it!)

He originally wanted to wait until graduation before he confessed to Yuki. Her support at games really pushed him to do his best and didn’t want to ruin that with Hanazono coming up so soon. She has been helping out Umeno lately and made the entire team treats. Her presence has been extremely helpful and he didn’t want that to go away

 Raita was the main person to really push Hachi to do it earlier. The not very subtle and constant whines of “But she totally has a crush on you!” was the main encouragement really. Also to finally get him and the entire team to shut up was a factor as well. 

Hachi placed a letter in Yuki’s shoe locker to meet him at the Rugby fields after everyone has left on the last training session before their first offical game for Hanazono. 

He was nervous the entire time, but glad there was not stuttering at all throughout it. Shouting out “I like you, please go out with me!” while bowing to her. Fortunately when he lifted his head again, he saw Yuki smiling and accepted his confession with one of her own

If you enjoy SPY X FAMILY, may I suggest reading Mission: Yozakura family?

It's about this two childhood friends, Taiyo and Mutsumi. Bc of Mutsumi's overprotective older brother, Kyoujiro wanting to kill Taiyo for getting close to Mutsumi, Taiyo and Mutsumi ended up getting married (Kyoujiro cannot murder his family, brother in law included)

It turns out that Mutsumi's entire family is the first ranked spies in the world. Her entire family has special powers except for her because she is the head of the family. But that also means she's the one that the entire family protects because she is the most valuable person in the family. Taiyo trains under their guidance to become a spy that can protect Mutsumi.

It's very wholesome and it's dark when it needs to. It has comedy and found family too. Please give it a shot!

Kindred Spirit (Rollo Flamme x Reader)

You look at the crowd of smiling faces, joyful chatter fills the air as festive music plays in the background.

But for some reason, you can’t bring yourself to get drunk on the happy occasion too. You feel abnormally tired, as if an imaginary weight has settled its home on your shoulders. Truthfully, you’ve been feeling fatigued for the past months, biting your tongue and forcing yourself to go through life because who else will make Grim attend his class?

Really, someone should award you an oscar. This mask of yours has been ingrained through memory, the false pretence of everything is fine.

Weirdly enough, said mask has been slowly cracking. The proof lies in your inability to enjoy the festival. To be fair, you did help in saving six individuals from their own overblot. Not a surprise, the alternative is death after all.

You didn’t ask for this.

You spend your nights crying in silence, grieving for your old life of familiarity. You were unjustly torn away from your routine, harshly shoving you into the arms of a stranger. Forced to adapt and survive, your mind pushes the events that occurred and focused on survival.

Once upon a time, you were intrigued by the concept of magic, but now you know better than to trust it. It’s volatile and it plays by its own rules, unpredictable and unstable. It is like walking on a tightrope with no safety net. Better to depend on your two hands, knowing what to expect and the worst-case scenarios that accompany it.

Standing at a distance, your friends (is it right to call them friends when they were the very ones that also hurt you?) laugh with the crowd, sparks shooting out of their pens. You really should wear a smile, it would be suspicious to see a frown on such an occasion.

The sea of stalls and people blended together, your stomach churning as the grape juice you drank felt more like overdue milk. Colours swirl in your sight as they blurred together, your brain foolishly wonders if someone is trying to split your skull open.

“Are you alright?”

Someone holds your hand, stabilising your swaying body. Their voice is rather familiar…

“Sorry, I was feeling rather nauseous,” you muttered, your free hand holding your heavy head. “Thank you, I think I am better now.”

A poorly crafted lie, you are definitely in no condition to act as carefree as your friends.

“Darling? Where are you, my starshine?” I hear someone’s voice ringing through the house. There’s only one person who calls me starshine.

“W.. Wilbur?” I croak. Shit, my throat hurts. I looked into the mirror and saw my dishevelled self. Fuck, this place is a fucking pigsty. I should really clean up, but I'm so tired… Just so damn tired.

The door burst open, revealing him in all of his glory. “Starshine?” he cried, glancing around the room before his eyes fell on me. “Dearest, I apologise for my late arrival.” He softly said.

I can’t see clearly, it's too blurry, but I hugged him in an instant. “You’re… you’re safe,” I whispered hoarsely. “Welcome home, mon coeur.” My eyes burn, but I don’t care. He’s finally here. He’s here and he is safe.

“I’m home.” He holds me tight in his arms. It’s warm, like home. It’s been so cold in this house, no matter how many blankets I cover myself with, it’ll never compare to this warmth. “I’m sorry it took so long.” He murmured, kissing my hair.

“Don’t, don’t do that. You’ve-“ I was promptly cut off by him.

“Shh, don’t talk. I’ll get you some water, your throat must be dying.” He shushed me, wiping my tears before getting up.

“Don’t… I don’t want you to leave,” I sniffed. “I don’t want this to be a dream.” I don’t want to be alone again. Not again please, please.

“It’s no dream, starshine. I’m here now. Everything’s going to be alright.” Wilbur said, carrying me to the kitchen. Since when could he carry me? Was he always this strong?

Oh. The war. The war between Greater Essempi and L’Manberg. How could I have forgotten?

The very thing that separated him from me.

“Here you go, mon amour,” Wilbur hands me a cup. “Drink slowly, okay?” Since when did he sit me down? I don’t recall sitting at the table. My hands reached out to his, slightly trembling. Whether from hunger or fatigue, I don’t know.

“Maybe that’s not a good idea to give you the cup when you’re this weak,” Wilbur moved the cup out of my reach. “Open your mouth, dear.”

“Kyochuu Rettou: The Island of Giant Insects X Jurassic Park” a fanfiction story. Enjoy;)

Prologue

A 17-year-old boy named, Sutaki was busy flying on a airplane, flying on it for the first time, soaring through the wind, enjoying the view, until something went wrong unexpectedly, and everything faded total darkness.

Name: Sutaki Tachikawa

Hair: brown

Hobbies: reading dinosaur stuff, watching movies, hanging out with friends, surviving, watching documentaries about dinosaurs, being optimistic, and staying positive

Background:

When John Hammond, the founder of Jurassic Park, flew out of Isla Nublar with the surviving members of his endorsement team, the entire face of the company changed. There was no longer a plane to manufacture the animals and housed them in a tropical Costa Rican safari park. Now, the company became dedicated to covering up its losses while it hid itself away to lick its wounds. Jurassic Park became a huge disaster; an expensive failure that couldn't pass its first real inspection, InGen was in real trouble. They'd invested millions of dollars into bringing these extinct animals back to life and now all of their hard work had seemingly amounted to nothing more than two islands with large amount of secret dinosaurs that they couldn't even profit off of. They couldn't even talk about the animals without making some sort of big fuss, thanks to the deaths that took place in 1993. And so forth, Jurassic Park was forever abandoned. But Isla Nublar wasn’t the only island.

27 Years Later...

On a foggy day, there was an airplane flying by during a takeoff, and it came from an airport located on the east of central Tokyo in Narita, Chiba. It is called "Narita International Airport." Sutaki is going on a big school trip with his friends & classmates. While Sutaki on a plane, he was watching the sky at the window. He is with Oribe Mutsumi.

Oribe Mutsumi; an adorable, well-endowed brunette with a love for all things creepy-crawly. She is passionate about insects with a wide knowledge in their biology and behavior. She wore a green camouflage jacket over a white shirt and dark blue skirt with black stockings, and lastly, a brown trademark cowboy hat atop her head. Though it's obscured by her hair, she also carries around a blue and white backpack that has a fish design, named 'Gomaotto.'

Oribe was currently sitting to Sutaki’s right at the window seat and sleeping, her head leaning on his shoulder, she was drooling a little.

Sutaki has a childhood friend, named Naruse Chitose. Who is another very attractive and well-endowed brunette. She was sitting to your left, reading a book. Naruse is the class's chairman, and a Straight-A student. Recently, she joined the kendo club.

Naruse was one of Sutaki’s closest friends, her pushing him and tutoring him was probably the only reason Sutaki had transferred into Houshou Private High School. She was also the one to bring Sutaki and Oribe together after he had his nasty break up with your ex-girlfriend, Jinno Misuzu.

She's a slim young woman with a generous bust. She has long copper-red hair that matches her eyes. She wears a white, long-sleeved button down shirt with a black tank-top, tiny navy blue shorts and black boots.

One time, Naruse caught her cheating on Sutaki with his homeroom teacher, and told him shortly after. Revelation was shortly followed by a confrontation with your ex, which included a lot of shouting, screaming, and slamming a door...It wasn't pretty at all.

Naruse introduced Sutaki to Oribe as one of her friends since high school started, and actually got along pretty well since he thought her love of insects was pretty awesome. She filled Sutaki in on a lot of cool bug facts and he shared his amount of archaeology he gained from dinosaur facts from paleontologist, Dr. Alan Grant. She finds it interesting of what he had learned about archaeology and dinosaurs.

Needless to say, Sutaki and Oribe have bonded pretty quickly.

Even more so after the nasty break up and he fell into a sort of depression in which Naruse convinced me to go with Oribe and a rather hot entomologist by the name of Enoki Inaho, to a field survey. Enoki was the one who made Oribe interested in insects. She is Oribe's mentor and familiar with the ecology of insects. It was fun, Sutaki got along well with Enoki, she liked his corny jokes. One time, Sutaki saved Oribe from an unpleasant guy that the Tama no Moriyama City Forest Office decided would be our guide, thought he could try and assault Oribe. So, Sutaki had knocked him down with a black eye and a bloody nose, along with being tied up from a tree and left for city hall, that taught him a lesson.

After that, Oribe and Enoki kept dragging you along for further field surveys. As the trips continued, or those two just asked you to hang out, he slowly forgot about his ex-girlfriend, and started bonding a lot more with Oribe. And it escalated until you started dating, and she became his new girlfriend.

Now Sutaki’s friends are relaxing while flying, until something bursts from the clouds, a large flying reptile, it was a Pteranodon. This single attacker is followed by 15 others, a gorgeous and terrifying sight. They attacked the plane and one of them smashed its windows in an instant. But the overeager pteranodon was too close to the jet turbine, trying to fly away, but the turbine of the plane was so strong it pulled the pterosaur in, and gets decapitated by the blades. Soon the whole aircraft was destroyed as a few passengers screamed as they fall out, now the aircraft comes falling out of the sky as it was making its way to a crash landing.

Moments later...

Sutaki had woke up to see what happened and he sees that he is on a deserted beach area, seeing parts of the airplane around him damaged, and noticed that he crashed on an enormous island that appears on Costa Rica. A more hazardous island, it is apart of the Five Deaths island chain. This island serves as the primary setting for the aforementioned series.

Well that is it for now, hope you guys enjoy the introduction for this new story and more chapters will come. This will be a different story compared to the ‘male reader’ story. The plot will remain the same, but some things will change. The intro inspiration came from Klayton Fioriti, which he explains about what happened after the incident of Jurassic Park from the movie. (despite The Lost World)

I decided to do my first male reader story based off the ‘Kyochuu Rettou’ manga than the anime, and also based on the Jurassic Park series. I am a huge fan of Jurassic Park, and I wanted to do it because it has been in my head for a while. Feel free to read it on Wattpad.

Plot:

You are the main character for this story. After an airplane crash during a big school trip, you and your classmates are stranded on a hazardous island. However, the island that they are stranded in, is inhabited by resurrected dinosaurs. You must do whatever it takes to save your classmates from surviving until rescue comes.
