Vocaloid x Poppy Playtime AU

Since Playtime Co. began conducting unethical experiments due to falling sales, there was no way around it, right?

Well, what if the sales had begun falling just a little later? Or if they had just waited a bit longer?

With the rise in popularity of Vocaloid due to the success of Hatsune Miku, what if Playtime Co. tried to join in on the popularity by releasing their own voicebanks? A.K.A., voicebanks of their most popular characters?

When they hired voice providers and released the voicebanks, they ended up being very successful and made a lot of money due to their popularity, and so many people buying them to use in their songs.

But with the fall in popularity of Vocaloid, the amount of character voicebanks being sold declined, too, leading to the company resorting to desperate measures in order to continue making money off their success.

They released a few append and Japanese voicebanks here and there in an attempt to boost sales, which worked for some time, but their characters were no longer as popular as some of the bigger Vocaloids: Otomachi Una, GUMI, flower, etc.

So what did they do? They began testing and experimenting, of course.

Inspired by the live hologram performances at Miku Expos and Nico Nico Cho Parties, they managed to manifest the voicebanks of their most popular characters into sentient holograms. However, knowing that they couldn't get them on stage, Playtime Co. used them for other reasons.

The holograms of their characters were forced to partake in the experimentation of children and monitor the factory 24/7/365 in order to continue overworking their employees, keep an eye out for test subjects, and use their voices to torture the minds of the subjects via special features. If they disobeyed, they would suffer a painful deletion process that would lead to them suffering a fate worse than death. It was also around this time that they kidnapped the people who provided the voices for their characters and turned them into holograms as well via brain uploading.

When the Hour of Joy struck, they assisted in the slaughter by cutting off any connection to the outside world (phones and other devices to call for help), locked doors, and used surveillance cameras to check for any survivors.

After this event, all of Playtime Co's voicebanks were immediately retired, and the last remaining serial codes were sold just a year later, making it impossible to obtain any of the voicebanks.

In the present day, the player returns to the factory and finds that simply walking around and navigating would be much harder than they thought. Having gone insane in the past few years, the remaining sentient holograms will attempt to draw attention to you or blow your eardrums out by screaming or locking doors and access to other things that can help the player, making them a major problem in addition to the physical toys already trying to murder you.

Lange geschlafen, um zehn Uhr aufgestanden, in die Theatersammlung gefahren, da habe ich endlich schön gebundene THEATER HEUTE Hefte gefunden, im Handapparat, also muss man sie nicht entlehnen und braucht keine Scheine dafür. Ein freundlicher Mann hat mir die KALLDEWEY-Kritik von März 1982 kopiert. Zur Universitätsbibliothek, auf dem Weg eine Engländerin getroffen, der musste ich erklären, wo dder Stephansplatz ist. Alle bestellten Bücher bekommen: Menander, Heraklit, Seneca, Terenz, Euripides. In die Vorlesung Theaterwissenschaft, Alexa bringt mir Vanillekipferln. Frau Dietrich erklärt uns, dass die Vorlesungen bis Weihnachten alle ausfallen werden, weil sie dringend wegen der Schilddrüse operiert werden muss. Hoffentlich geht das gut aus! Sie ging gleich wieder, es geht ihr wahrscheinlich schon schlecht. Alexa hat sich besonders aufgeregt, sie ist eigentlich sehr lieb. Ich mag sie ganz gerne, dieses kleine Mädchen. Nach Hause. Die Hausfrau fragte mich, ob ich ihr etwas einkaufen könne, wenn ich noch einmal hinausginge. Heute hat es nämlich gehagelt und es ist so kalt, dass die Straßen alle vereist sind, man kann überhaupt nicht mehr gehen, nur dahin rutschen. Wenn ich meine Wangen berührte, war es als ob sie nicht zu mir gehörten, so kalt waren sie. Mama hat mir schon wieder so eine schöne Postkarte geschrieben. Zur Schlickgasse gefahren, jetzt ziehe ich immer meinen uralten schwarzen Pelzmantel vom Flohmarkt an, weil Karin G. ihn so schön gefunden hat. Im KOMM hatten immer alle Frauen Pelzmäntel vom Flohmarkt an, herrlich. Nach der Stunde mussten wir uns ein Thema aussuchen, ich wählte in Gedanken an den lieben Schifko TRANSFORMATIONSGRAMMATIK. Habe noch Maria begleitet, wir haben über Nitsch gestritten. Sie will nicht begreifen, was Nitsch will. Aber heute sehe ich, dass sie recht hatte. Für sie war es Faschismus. Maria will einmal jemanden zu Nitsch mitnehmen, der die Nazi-Zeit bewusst miterlebt hat. Wahrscheinlich hofft sie, dass derjenige die Atmosphäre genauso empfindet. Als ich zu ihr sagte, dass das viel eher in einem Fußballstadion der Fall wäre, sagte sie, dass Nitsch eben eine intellektuellere, eine modernere Version davon sei. Hat sie wenigstens das Artaud-Zitat begriffen? Um den Krieg zu überwinden, muss man selbst Krieg führen. Das ist nicht ganz korrekt, aber in der Eile fiel mir der genaue Wortlaut nicht ein. Ich muss die Artaud-Schriften einmal ganz genau lesen und alles lernen. Nach Hause, Pasta gekocht, im linguistischen Wörterbuch nachgeschaut, was Transformationsgrammatik ist, dann die Kritik von KALLDEWEY FARCE gelesen, die Zeit vergeht viel zu schnell. Promete percorrer, a par dos temas que incluem o ep, algumas novas composições, que possivelmente perspetivam um segundo lançamento no futuro.

Simone é uma figura já conhecida da noite do Porto. Tem o seu nome carimbado na criação de algumas das festas mais emblemáticas da cidade, como a Groove Ball, a Enter the Void e mais recentemente, a Juicy. Como DJ, passa regularmente pelas casas noturnas mais badaladas da Invicta: dos Maus Hábitos ao Plano B, do Eskada Porto ao Café au Lait ou do Lusitano ao Ferro! É conhecida pela sua versatilidade. Embora tenha uma inclinação forte para o Hip Hop e RnB, a Simone não se divide em heterónimos, não gosta de rótulos e não restringe géneros musicais. São as necessidades da pista que guiam os seus sets.

Formada como Técnica de Som e VDJ, combina a sua faceta de seletora musical com sua paixão pela produção cultural, fotografia, videografia e experimentação sonora com gravações de campo. Na sua carreira poderíamos citar um sem número de clubes, salas e festivais conhecidos a nível galego, além da sua recente estreia no Razzmatazz (Barcelona) e no Pérola Negra (Porto), deu também o salto internacional com mixes para programas de rádio como Radio Flouka (Paris) ou Rebel Up! (Bruxelas).As suas sessões são marcadas por ritmos e sons de raiz, com géneros que vão desde o afrobeats a música eletrónica árabe, kuduro, batida, gqom, baile funk, deconstructed club, UK bass ou amapiano entre outros.

Atualmente explora os sons da região SWANA (South West Asia & North Africa), dando-lhes o reconhecimento e a visibilidade da resistência existente nesses países e na diáspora. Pedro Jaca nasceu em 2002, no Porto. A mãe e a música deram-lhe a mão desde cedo, e o que começou nos clássicos karaokes — com toda a leveza e espontaneidade da idade pura — culminou na participação num programa de televisão, quando Jaca tinha apenas 12 anos. Mas o caminho não era o das câmeras. A música regressa-lhe enquanto fôlego quando pendura os cadernos da escola. Com os amigos, começa a escrever as primeiras letras, a praticá-las incessantemente, e a pegar no microfone para tirá-las do papel. A mistura de culturas com que vive transpira para o que cria, o que o fez, de forma natural, desenvolver uma identidade impossível de rotular. São sons da rua, cantados pela rua, com o poder da rua em cada sílaba, lapidando a agressividade e a beleza dos dias.

Rafael Henrique Victório é Farofa, DJ, pesquisador musical, seletor, curador e produtor cultural desde 2012. Vive e trabalha no Porto desde outubro de 2014, sendo especialista em Música Brasileira e Vinil. Com sets e energia eclética viaja pela música. Sempre a favor do amor e das conexões pessoais e sociais. É DJ residente e programador externo no Maus Hábitos (BATIDÃO BAILE FUNK), no PÉROLA NEGRA CLUB (KEBRAKU), residente no Plano B (JUICY) e no FERRO BAR (TODA). Já tocou em bares de excelência que valorizam a qualidade musical. Em Portugal, foi convidado para espaços e festivais como Casa da Música, Festival MIMO (2016, 2017 e 2018), Café Au Lait, festival D.D.D. e FITEI, Music Box, Titanic Sur Mer. Em Lyon na La Maison M , em Londres é residente na ObáObá Party desde 2017.

No Brasil já passou por Mundo Pensante (Pilantragi), Bebo Sim e Estaleiro Bar. Participou também em festas como Baile Tropicante, Mundo Mestiço, Desobedoc, Carnaval de Ovar e inúmeras outras. Trouxe diversos artistas para o Porto, como MC Carol, Duda Beat, Jaloo e João Brasil e abriu e fechou palcos para artistas como Tom Zé, Herbie Hancock, BaianaSystem, Goran Bregovic, Céu, Nação Zumbi e Karol Conká. Luciano Alves aka Dj Swingueiro é oriundo de São Paulo, nascido e criado nas periferias de Sao Paulo, bairro Jardim Dabril, cresceu num ambiente rodeado de música e adquiriu influências musicais de sua mãe e de seu pai.

Se introduziu no mundo da música com apenas 12 anos e hoje é Dj e músico autodidata, atualmente acompanha alguns artistas e desenvolve projetos musicais pelo o mundo a fora.

Lyric is from a AU thats gate has been destroyed by Error.  MusicBox AU was where he lived with his family and learned to sing from his father.  His mother and he would dance together.  He had the perfect life until he turned fifteen.

One day Lyric was woken by his mother, who had told him that there was someone there to take him somewhere safe.  He came downstairs and he saw his father was beaten and bloody.  He saw his father speaking to a short skeleton with a paint brush attached to his back.  Ink was there upon his parents request to take their son far from their world.    

Having no choice and promised that he would come back once everything was okay, Lyric was taken to see a young skeleton Palette Roller.  He never returned home.  Error had destroyed the gate to MusicBox, thus breaking all portals from going to and from MusicBox.  His only calming thought is that his parents are still alive.

He became friends with Palette and was taught how to make Portals himself.  Once he reached seventeen he moved from Palette's location to the Mutitcity.  He has only lived there one year

Lyric spend lots of his time helping others.  He works in a cafe as a baker.  His closest friends are the only ones that know he loves to sing.  He would rather try to void letting other others see his talent and considers it trash.

He has hardly any confidence, but lot of patience.  He also knows sign language.  Something taught to him by his mother.

Food allergies - Sea food are deadly foods.  Even the oils.

Paranoid. - He is always thinking those around him dislike him and is the first one to bring himself down. 

Neophobia. - He can't handle change well.  This is a minor issue in his life.

No matter what he never defends himself, but will when it comes to others.

He also seems to be clumsy.

Likes :

Music - Mostly alternative, pop, light rock, and some country.  He can also sing opera.

French style foods. - It makes him feel better because its what his parents would take him out to eat on his birthday.  This is still what he does.

Coffee - Though he is aware that its not good for his voice he doesnt care.  He loves the different types and flavors.

Cake - Any cake.  He loves to eat it all the time.  He is often getting in trouble for sneaking a piece on his lunch break at work.

Dislikes :

Rudeness - if he finds someone being rude he will correct them.

Bullies - He fights back to all bullies hurting someone else.  Even strangers.

Heavily acidic foods. - They bother his body.  making him feel sick and lowering his Defense temporarily.

Salt - In general he avoids it as best he can.  He uses a lower grade salt in almost everything he makes.

Um sieben Uhr aufgestanden, zum NIG gefahren, habe Peter Haslinger, Marions Schulkollegen, auf dem Weg getroffen. Vorlesung über den NOUVEAU ROMAN beim Löwen, ad Michel Butor, aber der Professor behandelt die Mythen nicht so, wie ich es gerne hätte, nämlich genau und ausführlich. Wer hat einmal gesagt, dass die Wiener Uni eine Plauderuni sei. Dampfplauderer wie Franz Schuh werden als Genies gehandelt.

Zur Nationalbibliothek, den THEATER HEUTE Jahrgang von 1983 fertig gelesen. In die Schlickgasse, aber die Veranstaltung von Frau Manus entfällt. Habe Geld abgehoben und ein paar Reclam-Hefte und das neue THEATER HEUTE gekauft, für die Antike-Vorlesung. Zur Theaterwissenschaft, Herr Schmid war leider nicht anwesend, deshalb bin ich in die Theater-Sammlung gegangen. Der, der aus der Ferne so aussieht wie Hannes, war da, ist aber nicht so wie dieser. Habe mich wieder über Herrn Schneider geärgert, zur UB, das THEATER HEUTE wieder bestellt, in der Theaterwissenschaftsbibliothek fehlten nämlich genau die Nummern, die ich brauche. In der Mensa habe ich einen Germknödel gegessen, kaufte dann Brot in der Bäckerei ELIAS beim Schwedenplatz und fuhr nach Hause. Peter Friedl ist gut, der hat einen tollen Artikel über Nitsch im THEATER HEUTE vom September geschrieben. Um Mitternacht ins Bett.

In der Theaterwissenschaft waren ein paar Leute, die besuchen wahrscheinlich Wissenschaftsgeschichte bei Meister und die haben sich über ARTAUD unterhalten. Aber wie! Einer sagte: "Was hat der überhaupt für einen Vornamen?" Antwort: "Antoine" Die Eine: "Hat der überhaupt etwas geschrieben?" Erste Antwort: "Ja, das Theater und sein Double." Zweite Antwort: "Briefe existieren auch." Diese Leute wissen überhaupt nichts. Ignoranten. Wiener! Auf dem Land sind die Hauptschulen so gut wie in Wien die Gymnasien. Habe mich so geärgert. Artaud ist immerhin der wichtigste Dramatiker des zwanzigsten Jahrhunderts. Andererseits will ich gar nicht, dass sie ihn kennen, will ihn für mich allein haben. Dieses Halbwissen ist das Schlimmste, einer hat gesagt, dass er die Sendung über ARTAUD in der Musicbox gehört, dass ihn das fasziniert hätte. Ärgere mich immer noch, dass ich diese Sendung nicht gehört habe. Aber Manac'h hat sie gehört.

Abends um acht hat mich Papa angerufen, ich glaubte schon, es sei etwas passiert, Karin hat in der zweiten Matheschularbeit schon wieder einen Fünfer bekommen. Marion hat Thomas wiedergetroffen. Welchen Thomas? Berger oder Renoldner oder einen ganz Anderen? Die Hausfrau hat auch mit mir gesprochen, sie war ganz aufgeregt, weil die Kinder über ihr so einen Krach machen. Nächsten Sonntag, Sonntag?, kommen ein paar Leute, die die Wohnung ausmessen werden wegen der Erhöhung der Miete.

Anyways I say both Bee n DRIP suffer from Player Character syndrome, where any suffering or other horror that occurs to them is brushed off to continue the story, even if other characters express feelings of hurt from experiencing the same thing. Also comes with being ignored and having little to no input.

yes yes YES YES YES!! YES!! We so lovingly added this to our mind au/story a while back ITS SO.. We love how somewhat, chaz interacts with bee!! Bee is able to do expressions and shit, and he responds to bee as if bee is actually speaking so maybe it's moreso assumey on his end thus bee has to deal with unfair results of actions they never did, words they never spoke. It makes it feel as if it's just like. Another person!! Like nobody will know the true "it" !!! Just what everyone sees it as!! Eventually they join the chaz complex but everyone has this different vision of them so it's just. Annoying/confusing/????

For Drip, we scavenged up something kinda diff though!! Drip has never expressed itself. No assumptions on its actions like bee. It's just there. Witnessing. Being a ladder for others. All it can truly call itself is helpful. Cookie slightly gave it an identity to latch onto, but it wasn't enough. Nothing to form more onto, especially with cookie's death. It doesn't KNOW what it is, and it WANTS to, but it cannot no matter what. All it knows is everyone else. Nothing about itself!! Maybe when Drip gets it's somewhat voicebox/musicbox, it can finally find out/whatever but what would it do? How would it learn??

Both of them are stuck being people they aren't, listening to other people's voices.
