In the bottom of this photo, you can see FDNY Ladder 118 crossing over the Brooklyn Bridge on their way to the World Trade Center. This is their last known photo. Every single firefighter on that truck perished just a few minutes later. We vowed to never forget. Unfortunately, so many have.

We have some museum tickets, and tickets to see the tower (and apparently a reenactment which you guys know I will be making EVERYONES problem in some terrible spin-off of my Castles Ever After. British Cassian in his little medieval garb harassing American Nesta, perhaps?).

But honestly, we're really just winging it. I've stopped trying to plan everything to the last detail and I'm gonna let her show me what is/isn't cool and PRAY there is at least one plague tour in there somewhere

hey natm nerds i am finishing up segment 1 of the rewrite! (i've split it up into 4 segments)

i have a question tho. how do you all feel about joan's visions? i'm considering whether or not to use/rely on them throughout the rewrite.

to me, they were a bit out of place and didn't really fit because joan isn't the real joan of arc. same as teddy wasn't actually the president and didn't really do all those things like he said in the first movie.

i just want to know what you all think before i decide how much to use them or to not use them at all

(if i don't use them, i'm just gonna use ahk more so don't be alarmed.)

anyway, thoughts?

I recommend going to Lapland in the winter if you want the auroras-and-reindeer experience that is always shown in tourist marketing (I have seen ads for Jyväskylä and Helsinki with reindeer on them! Lies! They don't live this far south!), or visiting some picturesque city in summertime if you'd like the "happiest country in the world" thing to feel believable. March and april weather is awful — slippery, slippery ice, plus constant yet somehow unexpected comebacks by winter when everyone is already fed up with snow — so maybe avoid that.

I know next to nothing about motorsports, but I think the ralley races happen in the summer too (August?) (I mostly know about them from my parents complaining about the resulting traffic). Everyone I've known to follow them has seemed to have a pretty good time, and you like F1, so maybe you'd enjoy that too?

Back at it again! Your cool bug fact today is that moths of the saturniidae family are some of the largest (and in my opinion some of the most beautiful) in the world! They also lose their digestive tract upon metamorphosis, which means they tend to only survive for a few days to a week off of fat reserves. A few examples of saturniidae family moths include atlas moths, cecropia moths, and luna moths.

(Also it’s actually a bug fact today, but it probably won’t be tomorrow.)
