Matt Bellamy tease un nouveau morceau de Muse, "The Dark Side"

Le frontman a posté une vidéo de lui jouant un solo de guitare sur Instagram, et il semblerait que cela soit les prémices d’un nouveau morceau : « The Dark Side »

Une rumeur de plus. Matt Bellamy a taquiné ses fans en teasant une probable nouvelle chanson de Muse,  appelée « The Dark Side », dans une vidéo de lui jouant un solo de guitare. Le groupe travaille actuellement sur un nouvel album, initialement prévu pour novembre selon le batteur Dom Howard.

Muse a mentionné pour la première fois « The Dark Side » dans une interview pour KROQ radio en février dernier. Bellamy avait déclaré : « Il y a en fait un titre sur l’album intitulé ‘The Dark Side’, qui est l’un de nos préférés. On travaille juste là-dessus en ce moment. »

D’ailleurs, on peut voir le titre du morceau sur la plaque d’immatriculation d’une voiture dans le clip du très discutable « Something Human », dévoilé en juillet. Bellamy a ajouté plus d’infos sur ce prochain opus : « On est en train de le finir », a-t-il dit. « Nous avons 11 pistes. Ensuite, nous ferons sept ou huit titres qui seront des versions acoustiques ou alternatives de chaque chanson. L’album est beaucoup plus rock. » On a envie de le croire sur parole.

Et puisqu’il faut (toujours) aller plus loin, le frontman a parlé à NME de la prochaine tournée. « Nous allons faire la plus grande tournée de notre carrière, les gens ne vont pas y croire, il y aura des choses qu’ils n’auront jamais vu auparavant (…) Nous sommes toujours aussi intéressés par les dernières technologies et ce qui est à la pointe… et on a trouvé quelque chose qu’on va utiliser. »
