@soughthope || Chrissy and Eddie
Chrissy stood in the dining hall of the school cafeteria, tray in hand as she looked around the crowd. She still was shaken about what happened the last few days, and if it hadn’t been for Eddie, she was sure she wouldn’t be standing here right now. She looked over at the table she would normally sit at, where Jason, and the rest of the basketball team, and cheerleaders sat. But she didn’t feel like she was part of them right now.
It was strange how something could completely change your outlook on life.
Her eyes made brief eye contact with Jasons, he still seemed hurt from the conversation she had with him earlier, and maybe thats why she felt she couldn’t sit with them anymore.
So slowly, she pushed her way through the crowd, to the table that was addressed as the “Freaks” table. She didn’t see them as freaks, never did, but she didn’t tend to speak up for them, when perhaps she should of.
Slowly, she moved closer, and stood close to the edge, looking down at him, a soft smile gracing her lips.
“Would it be ok… if… I sat with you today?” She asked, cheeks warming a little as she looked at Eddie.

When he said the word girlfriend, she giggled and blushed, her stomach doing excited flips as she curled into his body a little more. "I like how that sounds." She admitted to him. "Hearing you call me your girlfriend." She breathed.
Her blush grew darker as he said he was the captain of her club since middle school. She buried her head a little to hide the blush and giggled a little more before finally lifting her head. "Well, I am glad you still are Captain of that club." She breathed softly and looked into his eyes, then rolled onto her back. "I'm sorry it took us so long to get here... took me... so long to get here." She said softly.
"I wish I had been braver, and able to tell you soon how I felt."
eddie can't help but be giddy with her in his arms. he doesn't think that feeling will ever go away, no matter how many times they do this. being with her feels like he's flying on cloud nine.
"wouldn't expect anything less from my girlfriend." he chuckled, pushing some of her hair out of her face before he's melting into the soft kiss. jeez he's a goner when it comes to chrissy cunningham.
"sweetheart, i have been the captain f that club since middle school."

Chrissy tilt her head a little "Eddie... why wouldn't I want them all?" She asked softly.
She lift her hand and touched his cheek tenderly.
"Eddie, I have seriously fallen for you, I hope you realise that... right?" She asked, a small smile on her lips.
"But I only want them.... if you want to give them to me."

@weasleyandweasley asked: “ Oi, wait, can’t have you setting it off early.” Fred tells Chrissy and motions for her to step over where he is. “You don’t want a pie to the face, I reckon:”
Chrissy stood completely still when Fred spoke. "Set what off early?" She asked nervously.
She stepped over to where he motions her to move to, then looked at him again. "A pie in the face?" She asked. "Why are you setting a pie in the face trap?" She asked him curiously.
"And... er.. thank you for making sure I didn't set it off I suppose." She chuckled softly.

Chrissy didn’t know what came over her, she just knew that this was her chance, and she had to be brave, and kiss him. So she did.
When she pulled back, the nerves overwhelmed her, and she blushed, her cheeks flaming red, and hot as she looked up at him. “Oh.. I... Well.. I just felt like... kissing you.” She smiled softly, lowering her head, but looking up at him through her lashes.
“Is.... is that ok?” She asked, chewing her lip a little as she smiled softly.

She was a little surprised by his outburst. No one had ever turned quick to anger in her defence. She was used to anger, but usually at her, or her actions. It was strange to have someone come to her defence.
"I guess." She then responded "But I will always be a disappointment." She told him. "My Mother will always see me as one. No matter what I do, I will be a disappointment to her." She told him.
"And as much as I want to not care.... she's my mother. she's the only Mom I will ever have, the only family I have. I wouldn't be here without her." She sighed.
It took her a moment to realise they had stopped moving, and looked around, through the windows to see precisely where they were. Even though he had told her where he was headed, part of her worried they were outside her home.
Not that it could be called a home. Home should of been a place of safety and comfort, and love. She had neither of those at home. And she was sure she would never have any of that there.
Not now.
At his question, she turned to face him again, turning a little in her seat, groaning a little as she moved her leg and twisted her knee a little.
A hand moved to lightly touch her knee, a hiss of pain as she closed her eyes for a moment to try and push the pain away before she opened her mouth to answer.
"I've never thought I would have to think about what I could do if I had the chance." She admitted. "Everything was always set out for me, everything. Even to what I wear, what colour my make up would be, what my life would be like." She said. "I was to marry young, and pop out children, but keep my figure to keep my husband Keen." She told him, as if it was a mantra she had been told many a times, which she had.
"Have you? I mean... do you think about what you want to do? What you want to be?" She asked.
She looked at him, her eyes on his "Its not a secret how your father can be." She said softly. "I think perhaps we are more alike than most probably think." She then breathed "Do you... have a choice? Do you get to pick what you want?" She asked.
The wrath of Ward Cameron was well known. And she knew he probably had the same sort of contention under his roof as she did her own. Except her mother was good at hiding it... Ward was not.
"You know.... you're not like him Rafe, and thats a good thing. Your dad would of never of helped me get away from that party, or helped me because of my injury. " She breathed
"I mean, I never thought you really capable of it till now, but I really am grateful that you helped me." She said softly, a small smile gracing her lips as her hand moved from her knee to his arm, giving a small tender squeeze. "I'm glad that my perception of you has had the chance to change, and that I have gotten to know the real Rafe Cameron." She smiled.
Rafe smiled at her laugh. It was a sweet laugh. A genuine laugh.
He shrugged. “There's nothing wrong with preppy cheerleaders – if they have good taste in music,” he added with a grin. To be fair, Rafe himself didn't really have any taste in music, well, not openly, but he wanted to believe college had changed him, made him more sophisticated or whatever. It definitely broadened his horizon when it came to rock music.
He noticed Chrissy’s change in her voice; his features changed too. A frown appeared on his forehead. He looked at her again, but he also needed to concentrate on the road ahead. He just couldn’t risk having an accident. For one reason, his dad would kill him and then never let him drive any of his cars ever again and Rafe would be stuck asking his stupid friends for a ride. But more important – and this kinda surprised him too, when he thought about it – he drove carefully because he wanted to keep her safe.
When she spoke, he listened. He frowned at her words, but didn't interrupt her. He felt that it was important what she was saying and he wanted to know all about her thoughts. The fact that she trusted him caused some unknown feelings. No one talked with him like that. No one talked about real stuff. Whenever he tried, they would just look at him, with those eyes, and he would get angry and never speak about it again.
“What? That’s bullshit! She wouldn’t want you to die!” He turned to face her, too agitated to stay quiet. And from the corner of his eyes, he saw the headlights approaching and reacted quickly. The car just swerved a little. He mumbled a curse and hoped she hadn't noticed his bad driving.
When she continued, he just nodded, listened and kept his eyes on the road. He wasn't sure whether it was from the almost accident, the heavy topics, or another reason, but his heart was racing.
“It’s like, now you’re free to do whatever, right? You can’t disappoint anyone anymore...”
He drove slower when they reached the path leading to the lake. It was dark here, and no other cars were around – which was a relief. Not because he didn’t want anyone seeing him with her, but he didn’t want anyone around. That was all.
He stopped the engine.
“You ever thought, like really thought about what you want to do? If you had the chance to do anything? If not everyone, like, saw you as your father’s son – I mean your mother’s daughter and you didn't have to be like them, but could be anything, anyone. Like – dunno – have you ever thought about that?”
But he, he wanted to be like his father that was the difference, right? He wanted so desperately to be just like him. And he wanted him to see him and look at him like he mattered.

@devildungeondm || Chrissy and Eddie
In all honesty, Chrissy wasn’t sure if she was dead or alive. Part of her felt she must be dead, she was stuck in this place, this... this Hell. But then.... there were times when she felt she wasn’t there, like she was somewhere else.. or at least part of her was.
But she was tied to this place.
Somehow?
Days seemed to blur into one.
She wasn’t sure how long she had been down here, only that she was stuck. She had hidden away. Not entirely sure where she was hiding. It looked like Hawkins, but it wasn’t. But if it were, it was the woods, the woods she had met Eddie in the last day she remembered before she was here. She cowered under the table, afraid to see those bat things again.
It felt like she had been there forever, that was until she felt a slight shift in the air. Something was happening.

@meaningful-negativity asked: “ jeez, i don’t even wanna know how you got that battle wound there; sit down and let me fix it up, won’t you? “ (Chrissy from Steve)
Chrissy furrowed her brow a little as he spoke, then looked down at the blood dripping from her knees. She gave a soft smile “Looks worse then it is, I promise. And its nothing.... Upside related.” She assured him.
“I fell from the top of the pyramid. Or should I say I was sabotaged.” She shrugged.
“They made me fall from the top, and I fell onto hard ground. It does hurt, but its not too bashed up.... more... joint pain.” She told him.
But she took a seat, not stopping him from taking care of her. She quite liked that he wanted to take care of her. “Could I possibly have some Pain Meds?” She asked him.

@happeningsinhawkins || Asked: ‘ You can rest in my arms. ’ Billy to Chrissy (Just imagining post UD traumatised babies)
Chrissy still suffered with images flashing in her mind, and the latest one happened while she was out, walking back home. She wasn't entirely sure what had happened to be honest, but when she became aware of her surroundings again, she was curled up behind bushes, with Billy.
She looked up at him, eyes full of terror and at his words, pulled herself closer to him, resting in his arms, silently sobbing to herself.
After a little while, the sobs settled, and she realised she had cried into his sleeve, dampening it with her tears. "I'm... I'm sorry." She said, lifting a hand to wipe her eyes. He probably thought her son crazy person, just crying in the middle of the street.

@happeningsinhawkins asked: “Why didn’t you ever tell someone what you were going through?” (Heather to Chrissy
Chrissy gave a small shrug and turned to look fully at the other. “I... I didn’t think anyone would believe me.” She breathed. “I mean... I always had to portray the part of the happy, perfect Cheerleader, when in reality, I was anything but.” She replied softly.
“And.. I couldn’t tell my family. I thought... I thought I was all alone, which of course made everything worse.” She said, tears stinging the back of her eyes. “I was surrounded by people, but at the same time... I was so alone.”

Chrissy laughed a little, she loved coming over to his trailer when she just needed to escape the judgement of her own home. She grabbed his hands and tried to pull him up.
“Well... I brought ice cream. Perhaps if you come to your bed, and get comfy, we can eat ice cream together?” She suggested.
She knew if he crashed here, she would have no chance in hell in getting him to his room, and she didn’t like the idea of him sleeping on the sofa.
“Please, just get your tall tooshie up off the couch and to your bed.” She giggled, yanking at him again.

Chrissy giggled and smiled up at Billy “I didn’t mean to make you jump.” She replied as he pulled her close. She placed her small hands on his chest, craning her neck to look up at his much taller frame.
It was strange how the two ended up like this. But honestly. She loved it. She loved the feel of his arms around her, the taste of his lips against hers.
“Maybe a little.” She replied. “I just couldn’t help myself. I like that cute Tooshie of yours.” She smiled. She wrapped her arms around his waist, resting her chin on his chest.

Chrissy looked into his eyes, wanting him to see that she was not hurt, that it felt good, though it felt new. "I am sure." She breathed, her hand reaching up and pushing the hair out of his face, before pulling him into a kiss.
"It feels.... it feels odd... but good." She hummed against his lips. "Please... don't stop." She whimpered softly out of pleasure as her lips moved to his jaw, nipping lightly.
Her body was on fire, but in a good way, and right now, all she could think about was how it was just him and her, in this perfect moment.
❝ N—no, don’t stop. I want to keep going. ❞ Chrissy to Billy
"Are you sure? I don't want to hurt you..." Billy said softly, hovering over her. He'd been watching her, not wanting to push too hard or too fast. He was always so concerned about hurting her

Chrissy smiled at him. “Well, maybe... but.. still, I mean it.” She told him.
She then shook her head “You... don’t have to take the couch. the bed is big enough, and honestly... maybe Its partly because I don’t want to be alone either.” She then said. “But... yeah, if you have like a tshirt I can wear or something... I don’t,,, really want to have to go home and get things.” She told him.
Questions would be asked, her Mom would breath down her neck about where she was going, and who she was with, and tell her to watch her waist line, and really, she didn’t want to deal with that right now.

@byronlc asked: Soft gesture + 11. Put a scarf around their neck (Rafe/Chrissy 🥹)
Chrissy looked up at Rafe, a light blush on her cheeks as he tied the scarf around her neck, over her cheeks. "Aren't you going to be cold?" She asked.
She had only started rubbing her hands together and mentioned how cold it was outside before he was putting his scarf around her.
She should of been used to his kind, soft gestures but they still took her by surprise.
"Thank you." She then breathed softly, her hands lifting to lightly touch his hands, her gloved fingers hoping to warm his hands a little.
"Are you sure you're not too cold?"
