☆ﾟ*·ﾟHIS FAMILY WAS the most important fae in the world to him, aside from azah. haoyu would do just about anything to protect them, to keep them safe, and to make them happy. but there was something about his younger sister that was more than that. when she disappeared, his world felt empty. now that she was back, he never wanted to lose her again, never wanted to feel the loss of another in his life. with the world different, changed, and the king now possessing powers of his own court, haoyu worried for the future. he worried what might happen to their court, to prythian as a result of any alliances that might be created in the future. while his job was important, and he focused more on that than he should, and wondered if he'd been neglecting his sister and his family. finding his sister, haoyu leaned up against the nearest wall, looking her up and down, "azah's been asking about you and truthfully i should've checked on you earlier. you're not causing any trouble, are you?"

☆ﾟ*·ﾟHIS HEAD WAS full of confusion of what to do, of how to process his emotions. haoyu wasn't good at it and never really had been. he was always the kind to suppress every feeling down until he couldn't feel anything anymore, ultimately exploding. this was one of those days in between. he'd pushed everything down enough to allow himself to find a way to distract from the madness within his own court. haoyu needed adventure and he needed it now. it didn't matter what it was, but he needed something and he needed someone to do it with. as he walked through the courtyard, he searched for someone that might be entertaining, someone that could potentially distract his thoughts. his eyes stopped on a woman with dark hair, soft features, and eyes that sparkled under the foggy skies. he didn't know who she was, but he wanted to. walking directly up to her, he sat down next to her and without looking at her, said, "okay, look, i need to do something crazy, or adventurous. i have a concept of a plan. you down?"

aoife is torn about her feelings towards everything that has happened. while she doesn't believe that the solar and season courts have in the past aligned well, it doesn't mean she won't entertain the idea. she wants there to at least be peace between all courts. even if it's not necessarily a full alliance, at least an understanding would help. due to her job, she simply wants to be able to have civil discussions that don't result in fights or chaotic events.

so far, she doesn't mind the dusk court fae, but she's hesitant about getting close to them. she knows that something is off about it and that's why she's keeping herself guarded.

damon isn't completely on board with the change. he feels like he's known kabir his whole life and knows that this isn't him. it isn't who he is and he's not alright with it. being close to sitara, he feels like he should've known this was coming, but with her not knowing either, damon almost feels betrayed by kabir. he's done so much for their court and none of this feels right to him. while he wants to support kabir, he's also worried about what'll happen to him.

he isn't really a fan of the dusk court fae, because right now they're not being very welcoming. but to be fair, he doesn't like a lot of people all that much.

elias believes it would be a good idea to maintain a decent relationship with the dusk court for any future endeavors. he wants to believe that there is good in them and that they can prove to be good allies. elias wants to learn as much as he can about their tactics, for both sides of the coin, if he needs to be on their bad side, or if he does need to align with them. however, above everything, he is a general, so he will do what is best for his court. if that is to be an ally, then he will. if it's not, well, he knows how to take a court down.

he's trying to be as kind as he possibly can, but he's still very unsure of them and wonders what could possibly happen from here if they're not even sure of the presence. elias wants to believe that there is good in them and that things will all work out, but he isn't sure that they will, so he remains quiet about his opinions.

cali is afraid of an alliance, afraid of what it might do the court. she knows how precious the court is to her high lady and how much she adores everything about it. even when they considered one with the day court, cali herself was unsure about it. she understands the value of bonding with other courts, herself being from autumn originally. but now with the summer being her home, she wants to do everything to protect it. she's scared and terrified of what will happen now that their king has gained this new power. she worries for the future of prythian. while she will support anything her high lady decides, cali isn't sure she wants to go through with anything that aligns them without a proper explanation and good reason.

but she's got no issues with the dusk court and their fae. they've been kind and welcoming. that doesn't stop her from being worried that they don't necessarily trust any of the other courts, so she's treading lightly.

elile honestly has no idea what is even going on. she's heard the rumors and knows that the king has more power and that he's supposedly not the same. because she doesn't know a lot of the politics, she doesn't know why it might become an issue or a problem. honestly, she wants the king to be happy and if this makes him happy, she will support him. but she also knows that she has to support whatever her brothers do and she just wants everyone to be okay and safe and happy, so really she's confused. but in all reality, she's enjoyed the dusk court fae so far and they've been really kind to her.

he honestly doesn't care. he's just so focused on trying to feed everyone. right now, he's still trying to learn about the court and their food as much as he can, and isn't really too focused on the politics of it all, which sounds ridiculous. he doesn't mind as long as he gets to cook.

he doesn't want these other fae here. this isn't their home and he doesn't like that they're all here. but he knows that right now, this is where they need to be. and it frustrates him. but he doesn't know what to do and how to react. his emotions are already difficult for him, so this isn't making anything any better. haoyu is honestly frustrated and wants all of this to be over.

she doesn't have any real issues. while she doesn't appreciate that they aren't so welcoming, she understands. they've been there for so long in their own world, that she understands why. it does bug her that they don't like to talk about anything, but sienna tries not to let it bother her too much. with everything else, she tries not to think about it and just live her life because that's what's most important right now.

‘ xu kai, cismale, he/him, 30 / 300 , high fae ’ ― cauldron save you. it seems zhou haoyu has been teleported to the dusk court, the soldier from the dusk court is said to be resilient and is said to describe themselves with a loopy smile and an honest heart, always a few steps ahead as though being chased by ghosts, moss covered stones near a moor, lining pens up by color, bubblegum and cigarettes - a natural contradiction and with all of this in mind their critical nature always seems to get them into trouble. may the mother hold them as they navigate this unthinkable time.

haoyu's world was one full of family, one that centered around always being there for those you love, no matter what. he supported his older brother and his twin, always standing up for what he believed in. but nothing was perfect, that much he knew. when he was asked to be second in command by his elder brother, his twin was pushed aside. but haoyu knew this. he knew he was going to be picked, knew that he was the one liked more. this didn't make him feel any less bad for his brother, but things would always be different now. their relationship was strained, and he didn't mean it, but it was. but the thing is, haoyu rejected it. he simply wasn't ready for it. he couldn't stomach the idea of being in a high position without his parents' approval or without the idea of them being there. so he told his brother he couldn't be second in command. instead, once he dealt with the grief of losing his parents, he joined the army and put all his heart and soul into being a soldier, into fighting for what was right, because it was the only thing he knew.

he dealt with the death of their family hard. emotions are difficult for him and always have been. he pushes down his feelings because he doesn't want to deal with it. and as a result of this, he tends to explode when the emotions get too rough. haoyu tries to be sweet, tries to be kind, and always wants the best for everyone, but his temper can be known to get the better of him and everyone else.

when his parents died, he ran away for a few days, struggling a lot. but it wasn't all for naught. it was during this period that he bonded with his dragon, azah, who in all honesty, saved him. without her, he honestly doesn't know what he'd do or who he would be. when he returned, he told his brother almost immediately, and tried his best to focus on being the best soldier he could be, helping the general as much as possible, being useful, because he didn't know what else to do.

personality:

he's sweet, really, for the most part. but the temperature gets he best of him. but the thing is, he's so focused on his job and his work, that he forgets sometimes to be kind to people. he's so worried about getting everything right and making sure that he does everything he can for his brother, because without him, he's not sure who he'd be. he's stern when he needs to be, but is also very focused on making sure he's saying and doing the right thing.
