Plot: Metz is home while on holiday break. Runs into a classmate/classmate's brother while at the bar.

Metz was glad to be back home. He'd spent the first couple of days just spending time with family, helping out where he needed to because they always had projects for him to help with. However, now, he was free to do as he pleased and he decided to hit up one of the nearby bars. As he was finished with his first drink, the bartender slid a drink to him, "This is from the fellow at the end of the bar." Metz smirked before he glanced over to where the bartender had indicated. A few moments passed before he recognized the person. "Oh, hey! Long time no see..." he stated before taking the drink and moving to sit closer.

Plot: Parent/Teacher Evening that leads to a drink at a nearby bar

Metz was doing his best to explain to the man in front of him that he wasn't failing the guy's child on purpose. This was the final conversation of the evening and of course, it had to be on the more difficult side. "Look, I'm just asking that they attempt to participate but they're always giving excuses as to why they can't. If they don't participate, they don't get credit. If you could just talk with them...I don't want to fail anyone but I can't just let them slide through without any effort." It would be the first student that he failed too, but he wouldn't mention that. He let out a soft sigh and glanced at the man. "Please," he added sincerely. After this, he'd need a drink and to get out of the dress shirt he'd been required to wear, to look more "professional." He understood the reasoning but at the same time thought it was silly as he wore athletic clothing when he taught.

Metzli, who goes by Metz, was born in Texas; growing up on South Padre Island. Growing up, he was very close to his family and it was until college that he'd ventured further away to gain a sort of independence. The first year of college was his roughest but he'd made friends that helped. After he graduated college, with a degree in physical education and teaching, he found a job in his field at a high school. He, also, is an assistant coach for volleyball and basketball. Weekends are definitely times that he likes to go out and have his fun. He communicates with his family pretty regularly and visits them pretty often, enjoying the beach during the summer months when he's on vacation.
