The thief was trying out her sword just outside of Nan Song. She swung it around though because of how big it was, it dragged her around with it. She continued to try until suddenly runes lit up on the blade and it caught fire. She quickly put it out in shock and nearly dropped it.

She turned to see someone had been watching her. "You saw nothi-" she began to say when her eyes got wide, "Wha- Who? What are you? Never seen someone like you in Nan Song."

Chloe tapped a finger to her chin. "Hmm, I think pretty far back. At least what I've been told. The Thaleia family is an infamous family of thieves, always at odds with the Fenghuang royals. Though my family has sometimes helped them steal back things that shouldn't be in the wrong hands. I uh, I suppose stealing this sword might make them scold me. But it seemed so special, I couldn't help myself!"

"It sounds like you have a good relationship with them, at least..." Throné wasn't entirely sure how to feel about that. She decided to put the matter well out of mind. "So your entire family are thieves and assassins... How far back does that go?"

Aziraphale, somehow, managed to stay away from all this chaos. It's easy when people are scared and they don't manage to come into his shop. . .but he did house those scared to walk home so he was. . .sort of on the sidelines. But now ? Noooo. Whoever wants to buy a book will be kindly escorted. This is his library and he gets people to look but not buying. "Excuse me but we are cl-" The angel got a good look at her. "Oh dear are you all right ? Please sit." He gets out a comfy arm chair for her.
