New main verse for 010!!!
In this, he is the son of @memxriaxx's Melanie and @rotwilled's Henry Creel- full details in this new dossier (template credit again to @lemondaydream).
As such a few clarifications:
For this particular version of 010, he will be exclusive to Ire's Henry. Interactions with any other Henrys will be automatically in his original version. Likewise, Melanie is exclusively this version's mother.
I am still very much keeping the original version! Any threads with it will continue as normal, and anyone else wanting to plot is free to pick which version they'd like to interact with. I am considering both versions to be main versions with no overall preference, just as little alternate universe versions of each other
This verse is heavily tied into the headcanons and established universe created by Ire and Ellie, and as such will have some obvious canon divergencies (go read their stuff, it's awesome
Please actually read the dossier as it explains 010's canon in this universe
Because of this canon, 010/Daniel is the year above the party in school in Hawkins

The first time Ten is placed in isolation, he is five years old.
It's barely been a year since he's joined the other older children in the Rainbow Room, and he's still not entirely sure what to think of it. Sometimes the others get noisy and it hurts his ears, and sometimes they knock him over when he tries to reach for a particular toy. He never says anything about it, in truth less than half of the other children have even heard him utter a word. The most he speaks is to Papa.
But even then sometimes the words won't come.
Papa has taken him for special lessons, but today the words lodge in his throat, refusing to come. Papa asks him questions and he tries to speak, but they won't come out, no matter how much he wills them too. He can see Papa's brow furrowing, a thin frown on his lips, and then Papa is crossing to the box by the door, calling for one of the men in white. The man in white comes, and takes him by the shoulder, and begins to guide him down the hallway none too gently. He turns his head confused, craning his neck to look back at Papa as he stands at the end of the hallway, his face blank. He tries to pull away, but the hand on his shoulder is firm.
Before he can do anything more, he's pushed forward a few steps and the world disappears.
Everything is pitch black, and so silent that his own breathing seems horrendously loud. He turns, but there's nothing to see but more blackness. Small hands reach out, finding only smooth wall and nothing else, and the panic builds in him. Turns a little, reaches out again, but again there's nothing but wall. He tries to push at it, hits against it with a weak little fist but it doesn't give. The scream builds in his chest, but just like with his words, it gets stuck at the back of his throat. His mouth opens, but nothing comes out.
He doesn't know how long he tries to push at the walls, tears streaming down his face, before his legs give way and he curls in a ball on the floor. He twitches; all he can hear is the rasp of his own breathing, the crinkle of fabric as it rubs against itself, the soft thud of tears hitting the vinyl floor. The cold feels like it's trying to seep into his skin but he doesn't notice much.
When the door finally opens and light spills in (it feels like an age, in reality it's been little over an hour and a half), Ten doesn't stir from the ball he's curled himself in, hands clamped over his ears and eyes squeezed shut. Arms wrap around him, lifting him up, and he melts into them, the tears starting afresh as a word finally breaks free from his throat.
"P-Papa?"
A hand rubs his back as he's carried back down the hallway towards his room, and Papa's voice fills his ears even as he trembles, "There, there, Ten, it's alright. That wasn't so difficult, now was it?"
Ten says nothing.
