#muse hodgepodge: silly skeleton sans

Reyna watches the scene unfold before her, as Sans described it to her before. She could sense the pain, the ache, the frantic emotions running high and wild all over. Despite the relief on Gaster, she knows that such a sacrifice, while meaningful, still left a toll on his son. Not intentional, just the way emotions unfortunately work out. She then can see that Gaster himself notices her. It makes sense, he's not exactly on the plane of visibility himself.
She smiles at him, and signs back at him. 'Don't worry. I'll save you from yours as well.' And with that, she knows his soul and how it feels and looks. Prepped with this knowledge, she began to teleport and warp around time and space, timeline and alternate reality to find the shards. Using the Gaster Blaster he had as an anchor and guide, she flew across the weave to piece back together the long lost skeleton.
To her, it takes a good couple hours. To Sans, when she returns to his time, it was only a few seconds had passed.
Reyna follows Sans to the CORE. It was a very unique looking area to say the least. Geothermal power, she should certainly consider that a possibility in the future. Maybe combining it with Eternal Engines could create some unique opportunities. When they arrive at the closest they can get, Reyna nods at Sans.
"I'm not gonna do anything in the past beyond observation. I see Gaster's soul, I can easily find where it went. When that's done, I'll find the shards, and then return him, soul in hand." She says. It was all something she is more than familiar with. She knows how to not disturb the past and is quite aware of how even small changes can effect it.
"I'll be back...well, I'd say soon, but it's more like in an instant for you. Just a couple seconds after I leave really. So, I'll see you then!" She exclaims, before tying herself as an anchor to the Gaster Blaster Sans has out. And with that, she begins diving back in time. As she does, she turns invisible to make sure none can see or sense her.

โ!โ for Reyna from Sans (muse-hodgepodge) //dun mind me I'm being curious lol
"I should look into getting his soul healed. That level of stress on it is potentially fatal if not treated right. But I should be careful, forced healing can make things rather than better."

Reyna looks at the Gaster Blaster that he presents. She can feel the unique signature, cracked, but still intact. It was also unsurprising that Sans wanted to do something to help. And this magical tool would be just what she needed.
"Yep, this should work just fine! I can use it to travel back and forth without any issue. The best place to use this at would be the area in which it happened. This CORE you mentioned, can you take me there?" She asks him. It would the easiest place to use the anchor at. Uniting time and space like that would be the most efficient way and safest too.

Reyna just sits there for as long as Sans needs. She can wait for him to finish letting it all out, as he really could use it right now. Beyond just the resets, Sans has been carrying a lot of baggage and self-blame for Gaster. He needed to be able to let it out for once, even if it felt tiring. When they finally split, and Sans asked his question, Reyna hummed.
"I won't lie, it will still be tricky. Unlike Asriel, whose body as Flowey made it easy to reverse what happened to him. Gaster is spread across in body, mind and soul from the sound of it. Finding enough of the pieces will be difficult as is. So, my idea is for me to travel back in time to the point it all happened in. When there and then, I can identify his soul shards, and easily begin finding them. Timeline jumping is something I've done before, it's not that different from universe hopping. Though, the main problem with time travel, is that unless I have an anchor, I might get lost wandering the years until I reach the point I was originally at." She explains before crossing her arms.
"Anything can serve as an anchor. However, when you have a connection to an anchor, person or object, it becomes far easier to find your way back. But...I don't want to risk putting you through that. It can be deadly if something goes wrong." She continues. Sans would be an invaluable anchor, it'd be easy to find him. But she doesn't want to make him get hurt if the plan goes off the rails.

The lizard listens to Sans share his tale, and his memories of the event. The longer he goes on, she begins to frown, as she can see the tale is taking a toll to recall. When he starts crying, and finishes speaking, she gently holds him close. Despite the coolness of her armor, her hug is warm, and soft.
"People care about you. He cares about you. He wanted to make sure you lived above all else. I know that feeling he had...you want to protect those you care for so deeply. It doesn't matter if he was smarter or stronger than you. He wanted to save you, because you were you." She says gently trying to reassure him. She would go on about how to save him later. For now, the skeleton needs comfort, and she is going to provide it.

Reyna nods, and listens to Sans beginning his explanation. She knows this is likely going to be tough to piece together. She then gets an idea to help him along with his train of thought.
"Oh, I got a spell that can help!" She says, before clapping her hands and creating a small golden ball of light. Said light then begins to hover over the skeletons head. The shimmering orb helps bring his mind a sense of clarity and attentiveness. "There we go. That should help your mind find purchase." She says smiling as she takes a seat, ready to listen in full.

Mom? She doesn't know what that's about, or how that's possible, but those are questions for another time. She is so going to come visit this world a few times in the future. If only to make sure everything is going alright. "I'll see you both later, stay safe!" She says smiling, before warping away to where she feels Sans is.
Sans himself sees Reyna just pop into existence in front of him. No hole, magical effect, she's just there.
"Hey Sans! Good news, Frisk isn't gonna do genocide anymore. Also helped fix Flowey and turned him back into Asriel. So, next on the list, is helping you out with Gaster. I'm assuming that's the man who speaks in hand mentioned before." She says.

Aww, he was so cute! He was a little fluffy goat boy, oh she just wanted to hug him right now! But she restrains herself as that would be both rude and only adding more onto the poor little goat boy. Plus, she also has other important tasks to be completing right now.
"Apologies again for how sudden it was. I hope it wasn't too unnerving to experience. My name is Reyna by the way, a pleasure to meet you." She introduces herself, offering a curtsy. "As for how I did it, I am the Divine Guide after all. My powers allowed me to do it quite easily." She explained before straightening up.
"Now, as much as I would love to get to know you, I should get with Sans about Gaster. Need to learn what their deal is before I can help restore them as well." Reyna tells them.

The moment Frisk calls out for her, she is immediately over Flowey.
"Hey Flowey, nice to meet you, this is gonna feel weird, apologies in advance!" She says rapid-fire. Her hands glowed with magic, and she focused them on Flowey. One hand, surrounded by death, removed the death Asriel went through. The other, engulfed in life, returned his body and soul to life with memories intact.
When the magic was said and done, the action merely took a second to show the effects.

Reyna nods, and waits out in the room before the one with Flowey in it. She of course is still listening in, and wow. They certainly are rather detached from everything. Though, since she can't sense any kind of soul, that might be the reason why. It's not like an automaton either, so she can't help but wonder how this is possible.
Regardless, she can't do much for now, and has to wait for them to get into a fight. When that happens, she can move in.

Reyna was sad by how Chara saw themselves. If she can, she'll help them to. But first things first, she has to find this Flowey, and then meet with Sans about Gaster. So for now, she stands up, and returns them to the proper body.
"So, where can I find Flowey? I assume by the name, he is currently a flower." She asks them.

Wow, there was a great deal of tragedy in this whole situation, wasn't there? Honestly, part of her wants to go back in time and slap the Seven Humans who sealed them all underground. The mess that erupted from their blatant racist cruelty has been terrible. But for now, she focuses on what Chara asks, about how she can help that part out.
"Well, I am rather adept at creating souls." She says, as her divine mode flares to life. Her left arm is wreathed in a tangle of swirling vines with flowers blooming on them. Her right arm is surrounded by a spiked spine, ending with a pointed tip near her hand. And her head has a third eye made of energy surrounded by a halo. "It helps that I'm the Divine Guide of Rivellon. So this power has a good use for that." She explains. "And the same power could even help restore Gaster to this reality." She finishes with.

Reyna sighs at that. Well, that's...certainly the logic of a child with no other means? She is really trying to not get upset at them for this. "Next time, please just ask for help from others. I know your resets make that difficult, but you gotta try and use that to your advantage in other ways." She says. She's not gonna let them get into that right now, she wants to focus on what comes next.
"Well, either way, this Flowey must have a reason why they won't leave. So, if you know that, I'll go about fixing it up, and all will be well. As for this 'man who speaks in hands', that would be Gaster I'm guessing. Sans seems to know them, so I'll him about them after dealing with Flowey." She suggests as a course of action. She wonders if Flowey is just a flower. Would be strangely fitting considering the on the nose naming scheme here.

Reyna hummed. Chara seemed to have a great deal of vitriol. The way Frisk words it, it seems like there's someone they want to save, but they can't. Maybe with that, she can get this to stop? It's worth a shot at asking anyway.
"You say you can't save everyone out of here. I certainly don't blame you both for wanting otherwise, I'm not much different in that respect. But, if you tell me who you're unable to save-and no, that doesn't mean killing them." She says, interjecting at Chara's potential suggestion. "Then maybe I can help save them instead. I am uniquely gifted to help in ways you might not know." She continues. She wants to help these children just as much as everyone else. It doesn't matter what they did before, undone or otherwise.

Reyna listens to Frisk explain things. She can see that Chara isn't as talkative by comparison. So, first and last, was it? It was rather sad to hear that Frisk had such horrible parents.
"Believe me, I understand what it's like to have parents you wish you didn't have." She says, pointing to her chest. "My adoptive father...he put an experimental heart in my body that made me what I am now. It was a painful experience." She explains, tapping against her armor lightly.
"But, that doesn't mean you can't find people who care about you, or that you can care about in turn. The people I have in my life now, I know I can count on them, and they can count on me." She adds on with a bit of a smile.

Ah, this is explaining a lot about Chara. Such a broken soul, such a traumatized child. She does not know what exactly caused them to be like this, but she's gonna figure that out and help them move on from this. She gently holds her hands out, creating illusory vessels for them. Both Frisk and Chara will be able to speak to her individually without needing to share the body.
"I know you might not want sympathy, or understand why you believe such a thing. But, I want to help you overcome that pain you're in. So please, let me know." Reyna says softly. "Now please, could you tell me more about yourselves? Who are you kids?" She decides to start small, ease into it.
